Didn't think a comment I made 7 years ago would get this much interest lol...I used to be in a band and had more access to my bass back then, but I left it at my drummer's house a few years back and haven't gone to to retrieve it. And in that time, I didn't get around to actually learning it, but it seems like I need to remedy that. And hopefully it won't be 7 years later for the next update. TL;DR No, I didn't learn it. But I'm ready to again.

or use an octave pedal and tune normally :) but again with tabs its hard to transfer. Looking for a lead sheet for this but with 4 bars should prob just use my ear haha

The 4-4-6-6 in bar 1 actually should be 4-2-6-6. Lastly, the last 3 on bar 4 is possibly a slide up from 2 so 2_3...not 100% on that, but pretty sure.

nice cover , i used to play this track with a regular tuning and an sub octaver ( i think this is what they used , or a bass sample doubled with an -1oct track , a LOT of soft compression ( if you have an alesis 3630 rack compressor like them , it's easy to get the sound , but you're version is more plug & play and sound good too =D
oh , and an easy trick to stay in regular tuning and have a "daft punky" bass sound , is , (if you play on a DAW , or if you got a filter bass pedal ) to put a lowpass filter on your bass track around 150Hz with some resonance
