Hmm..I have lower light in my 1880 1 1/2 story log house construction home, only 8 ft ceilings on the main floor, dark brown engineered wood floors with a yellow grain and east, south and west windows. Would Chantilly Lace be the best bet for 3 directions of light as well as lower light because it is neither warm nor cool?

I’m struggling with a north facing living room and huge windows that let in tons of blue cast light. I have warmer tones in the room (rust/brown fireplace, warm gray couch, etc) and am finding a lot of the popular whites are reading too flat, gray, and/or yellow. The cool blue is really emphasizing yellow. I love a vintage yet modern rustic style to balance and my home is 70s farmhouse cabin modern. I’m working with a lot here! 😂

Simply White is the existing trim and ceiling in our home.
We are doing a complete reno of the kitchen (north facing with some light from the south as well) and have chosen Chantilly Lace cabinets and Empira white countertops as I prefer true whites more than one with a yellow undertone..
BUT would Chantilly lace cabinets nicely pop with Simply White trim and ceiling?
If not, maybe best to switch over to Simply White cabinets and choose another countertop?

He has upholstered bed, gray with a hint of blue, but has dark wood bedside table and drawer, cream molding and doors. It’s a small bedroom, and the sun hits directly it’s only window all afternoon. Originally I wanted a super light gray but it was so intimidating, some can look purple, some too green, then I thought to just stick to a white, which I’m realizing it isn’t any easier to choose.
