- Bailey Pegasus Grande SE Bologna
New for 2021, Bailey launched the Pegasus SE range, an 8ft caravan model in the mid sector market.
The SE saw the introduction of the silver sides on this popular range.
In this vlog we take a closer look at the 4 berth twin axle Bologna. This caravan has the G shape lounge, a good sized kitchen and a transverse island bed. The shower washroom is at the rear of the caravan.
The Bologna gives you then ability to up-plate the MTPLM to give a huge payload over the standard.
Find out more about this caravan in the review, a huge thank you to Northam Farm Caravan Sales who allowed us to film at their dealership.

So that just leaves me to say THANK YOU for watching and hope you enjoyed !
Love your reviews. We’ve already got our Bailey Phoenix on order - our first ever caravan so we’re very much newbies - but there are so many things you point out in your reviews. Really informative. 👍🏻
Fantastic!!! I am sure you will love Caravanning. Have a great time once you collect your new Phoenix 😊👍🤩
Your reviews get better and better, nice one guys 👍👍👍👍
Thank you Pete
Thank you for the great review! Was a pleasure to meet you 👍⭐️
Thank you for allowing us to film with you 😊
And yet another great review. Once again thank you very much. Looking forward to the next one. Soon be time for your new motorhome.
Thank you Paul 😊
Fantastic caravan I love mine. Great review and very thorough 👍🏻.
Thank you andI am glad you are enjoying yours 😊 Karina
Great review as always. Love the Bologna, but I am a fan of Bailey's. Thanks for sharing.👍Mark & Coral
Great vlog and review! I really like the G layout in the lounge too, plenty of room. Great kitchen and bedroom and I know what you mean by softer! It looked clinical and not homely in the bathroom! Well done on another brilliant video! Hugs xxx
Thank you Anne and have a lovely week 😊
Great Review that will help in our decision on which new van to purchase next 👍
Thank you for watching 😊
Hi nice review, it was good to meet you both and of course fudge at northam farm I did go and look at the Bailey's after speaking to you, keep up the good work.
It was lovely to meet you too Steve and we may see you there again sometime 😊
Fabulous van and a great review. A lot of van there with stylish features.
Thank You 😊
Many thanks for this which, in conjunction with a 2019 review, has convinced us to order a Brindisi for 2022. These reviews are especially useful during these times of shortages, which mean it's pretty nigh impossible to see any caravans in the flesh - our local dealer has perhaps three or four demonstrators instead of twenty, and a couple of dozen used 'vans instead of three figures in normal times.
Key to our choice is the bed - we currently have a side dinette Swift with a front made-up bed width of 140cm, but Swifts and others have significantly narrower and shorter fixed beds than Bailey at 139cm.
Hopefully we''ll have our van in March '22, but who knows.
Glad it was helpful Steve, it is really difficult when you are having to order blind due to a lack of dealer stock. Enjoy your new caravan when it arrives in the spring. 😊 Karina
a good sized bed 6'3" is great for me . would you have preferred perhaps softly coloured walls in the bathroom ?
A bit more luxury in the bathroom would have been nice to see 😊
Great van, but at this price to have a Bailey I personally would go used on a unicorn or alicanto, or drop down to the Phoenix range as they are basically the same, although if there were dealer specials the finishes could be upgraded, but think dealer specials are generally with the Swifts which at this money is the one would go to. Great video both! 📹
Thank you Kevin and I hope you had a nice weekend 😊
Good evening Karina , nice to see y ou again , together with your husband Jules.
Thank you and I hope you have had a nice weekend 😊
Great review. Really like these caravans. But what about a review on the Pegasus Grande SE Messina?
Thank you..if I find a Messina I am happy to do a review 😊
Would anyone else love here we tow too review their caravan?? Cara the van needs this. Lol.😉
I like to see the lounge without the front locker , to me it didnt make sense to have something that jutted out and took up some space from the sofa ends. I wonder though with this G shape , there isnt anywhere for the TV. you reviewed a van where the lounge was missing a window and replaced it with a wall for a tv , I thought that was a great lounge .
I think that was the Buccaneer with the TV on the wall. I like the lounge shape too 😊
I have a large tv that fits perfectly where the tv point is next to the fridge.
The tv goes where it should go - next to the tv point. I don’t like TVs in front of the window, blocking the view.
They are referring to the drop down TV in the side wall like the Buccaneer Barracuda, not one in the front window.
It should be “gorgeous “darling but for me “no bling” there isn’t anything I could latch on to! It is a lovely van and a great size but needs my fairy dust!🍸🍸🍸❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹🧚🏼🧚🏻♀️🧚🏼🧚🏼🧚🏼
Fairy dust everywhere 🧚♀️😊
Thats unusual to find a cover in the same graphite and then another glass cover .Why do the company's place a mic above a cooker hob? That storage area under the sink , the double doors could have had a large metal slide out rack fitted , instead of having to get down and reach in . I agree about the lack of gap to get ones hand in the other drawer.
Many of the manufacturers seem to place the microwave over the hob, I appreciate theres limited space but Im not overly keen.
The draw cannot be any deeper as the gas locker is behind it. Same with the cupboard under the sink - not deep enough for a slide out rack. Microwave not a problem at all to use.
Great review. Do you think you’d go back to a caravan?
Thank you and right now it would be a no, the Motorhome is really suiting us and our travels. You never know about the future though 😊 Karina and Jules
@@HereWeTow totally with you on that.
Lovely review as always..agree the bathroom is very non-appealing, Lou
Thank You 😊
I like the kitchen and i notice that there isnt a lift up shelf added to the sink area, I never could understand the real need for that and i find them ugly addition's. Its as if the company couldnt think of another way to add space .
These are touring caravans not statics and are built to a specific size so they can be towed on UK roads. I’ve fitted the fold down work top as an extra and you don’t notice it as it’s behind the cushion at the side of the seat. It make all the difference having it and to be honest I didn’t like them at first but my last caravan had one fitted as standard and I found when I purchased this one I couldn’t do without it. Each to their own and all that.
Has Jules got a new extra long selfie stick!?
I think that was some sort of tripod David… you know what Jules is like with his toys! I hope you are well…Karina 😊
18 months later and this caravan is now £31k new. Up 15%😮
Prices are unbelievable..I would be priced out now..
A very uninspiring van, could have a repositioning of the bathroom to the middle and stick the bed at the back.
How are these vans on cold days, this is the UK after all and there us an awful lot of dead space to keep warm?
I often find the bathroom with the Truma air blown can be a cool spot. Thank you for watching, Karina
I looked at the vans with central toilet and shower room and it makes the van feel claustrophobic. The shower room gets warm with the more powerful heating system. Great van with lots of room.
Why would you what to get stuck in the bedroom whilst someone has a crap on the toilet, then have to walk through a smelly washroom to get to the living room! Needing to keep the washroom door closed cuts the caravan in half. There are loads of downsides to having a middle washroom. The whole point of an 8ft wide caravan is space.
I dont like those privacy screen doors , reminds me of the 1960s. why couldnt they have a solid door ?
It doesn’t need a solid door plus there’s no where for it to slide into and the screen has less weight.
Why is it you always speak about the obvious, example we can see the black handles and the three front windows and the habitation door and the decals, and the vents ,blah blah blah.leave these videos to the professionals..
What a delight you are Graham, thank you for sharing your obnoxious opinion with me. Karina
@@HereWeTow your welcome.obviousley you can't take critiscism.
No issues with that but your comment is just rude Graham.
@@HereWeTow I wasn't being rude ,I was being critical.dont you know what a critic is .people get paid to be critical I was just giving my opinion,of are you one of those people who don't like free speech.
You have to speak about the obvious obviously because they are fitted to the caravan. If she didn’t say anything about them would you have said you didn’t speak about the obvious things like the grab handles and lights etc. Why don’t you show everyone how to do a proper review because you obviously know how to. I can’t wait to see your video so please send me the link.
