Yes. A very interesting and educational look at what it takes to finish a job.
Thanks for your knowledge sharing.
instead of pounding to the side.. why not modify a forged ring eye to a tapered pipe thread pipe plug so its a solid thread then you can lever it out or use a small slide hammer with a hook or chain thru the forged ring eye.. i worked in an engine rebuilding shop back in the 1990s.. the tear down guy got the engines that were covered a half inch thick in grease.. he hated those. since it was hanging on the hoist about to drop on his tear down bench.. i said lets try this.. and rolled it over and set it down on the spray wash tank and gave it a spin in the washer.. came out mostly clean and much easier to tear down. as long as you plug the hydraulic holes with real metal plugs not plastic. wash away before tear down. when i change the oil in final drives.. i drain and refill.. as normal. but then i get the track up in the air and i run it for a few minutes with no load.. just the track zooming around.. i then drain it again.. refill.. now i know i have gotten a much higher percentage of grime out of the gears.. when its really bad.. i have done it 3 times. each time running the drive to stir up sediment that the clean oil can suspend easier.
Seems like swashplate needs good additives in hydraulic oil. Is there any oil standard these drive motors require?
Do you have a video on removing the final drive motor? I have a 303cr and want to change out my bad for a new one on my own.
Nice work colleagues !
Thank u . Show us rebuilt
Damn right, great informative video, This is the stuff I like to see. I enjoyed this.
Grazie per il video!
It would be good to show what parts move and what bits don't. I'm trying to figure out how the gearing works and how the motor drive gets to the final cog.
Do you have a part name retainer for bobcat E45 ?
I've lost drive to the left track on my takeuchie tb035 mini excavator and I'm think the final drive has detached? The right hand track is working fine so I don't think it's a pressure problem? Do you guys have any ideas on what it could be? Great video by the way!!
thanks man that really helped me out :)
The machine I got is a terex tc35, I think it’s the same drive motor. We bought it with the snap ring missing, my guys now routinely repack the final drives themselves on site. Should I send it your way ?
make more video.. make video on how to tune two speed skid steer
How much will it cost to remain the tracking motor
What tools did you use that’s my main issue.
can a 20 ton press be used to press apart the hubs on a 331 final drive
great video! I learned a lot.
Update pleases.Would love to see where this goes!!
