One thing I noticed in many walks, is how few dogs and dog walkers there seem to be. Are they not allowed on the strip of the tourist areas? Just curious :)

Of course they are allowed, but tourists don't usually come with their dogs😅, they are seen more where there are local people.

From Los Cristianos I think it's the 112, it takes you to the main station in Santa Cruz, and then the 108 to the La Villa shopping center. Likewise, it is better to ask at the station.
