They were spectacular.
I gotta say in my opinion this dance was the best all series! Karen knocked it out of the park!!!! So sassy! Loved it! x

best group dance ever, fantastic, but then I'm biased as I love the musical, Frankie's America was one of my favourite dances ever. But loved Janette as Maria, Alijaz as Tony, Karen as Anita. Fab.

Wonderful! I understand they can't copy the choreography from the actual West Side Story film, but it's high energy and very entertaining and a fitting tribute!

Scd Observer I think you mean 1961, don't you? I only know that because I was born the same year the movie came out, and the movie won the Oscar that year (as did Rita Moreno for Best Supporting Actress).

its a wonder they let Brendon do the jumps on the scafolding at the beginning, considering his clumsy reputation! Love this dance though! What can i say? LALALALALALA BRI TAN IA (Hehe)

Credit where credit is due. I normally hate Jason Gilkison's meddling into the couples' dances, music and theme, but he choreographed this pro number beautifully.
Jerry Sugden I would prefer quarter finals and semi finals not to be themed if given a choice...
Jerry Sugden Take words out of my mouth! I don't mind Movie Week in the near beginning of the show, but I want to see the end of Halloween and other themed. There was one year when they have fusion week where pros are supposed to combine two types of dances into one music. That was innovative and the pros really stepped up that year...
Scd Observer Fusion week was cool until they gave Nicky Byrne two completely new styles that he'd never danced before, and gave everyone else either one style they'd danced before or two styles they'd danced before. His two styles were miles apart too, while everyone else's styles fit together and actually looked like a fusion of the two styles. It was very unfair and it wasn't a surprise that he went out that week.
Hema Malik of course they can tweak the rules such that fusion week must be one dance they've danced before and one new or something like that...

This is great but it is a shame it is always Karren at the front and not any of the other girls really get a look in. She seem to always be at the front. always in the camera shot when the dancers and the celeb go up to Claudia , Karren is always in the shot

Yes I know she was the main person, but come on she make sure she is in every camera shot when the camera is on Claudia, She know where the camera is and she play up to it when they are up with Claudia.
People who should be in that shot are the people who are still in the running to win. Will left a long time ago she should take a step back and let the runners up get their time on camera.
The other dancers are just as good if not better than her and I just think they 2 should get time to shine and it should not be all about Kareen
she was the main dancer for this and for sugar pie honey what about letting the other dancers shine
she's the best one to play Anita for this dance though..
The Cliftons were elevated above the other pros this year, they all had good partners and were fixed to go into the final and to win.
