This camera is great but the company that sells it is even better. I installed the camera almost six months ago, and when it stopped working, I contacted the company. They answered my email within an hour, and talked me through the troubleshooting. It turned out I had made a wiring mistake that took a while to come undone. I am really grateful for such a quick and helpful response. You cannot go wrong with these guys.
If it never stopped working, why did you have to call for troubleshoot? Did you get paid for this?
Had this system installed (june 2016) on my 2013 Q5 non mmi with the B&O sound dystem, bought front and rear camera . All worked great. The new updated harness was easier to install. Also customer service was fast in replying my email . Got a reply in 20 mins, my installer was able to get the job done after we got the fast reply . Was worried cause of no contact number. Great job for customer service, and very good poduct. Highly recommend the product.

Great product. I installed it on my 2012 a4 s-line avant.
It only have rear parking sensor and concert radio.
It works exactly like the factory rear camera from my mate a6.
The parking lines bends exactly like the oem thanks to the can line connection.
I recommended to add 2 connector to the genuine audi acc fuse holder like on the video.
Great value for money. You can add a video input on the front RCA camera wire (if not used) controlled from the button on your steering wheel.

Hi, did your factory audible parking assistance (beeps) still work with the video at the same time when in reverse?
I actually don't have the OEM parking assist, so it was just an install of the camera for my vehicle.
Jun Don was it as easy as it shows on the video... and is it priced at what it says in the description. theres a few mods i would like to add to my car. i currently have a 2010 audi A4 2.0t quattro same thing no sensors. i would like to install the back up and maybe frontal camera aswell as maybe change o install table to head unit and push start system. do you know any good sites specific to our type of audi o audi in general?

The product itself, camera, wiring loom and interface are top quality and integrate brilliantly with the car's info systems. Just want to add something: After you disconnect the ground wire do not close the trunk. Lol The Audi is totally electrical and some back seats are fixed, there is no trunk key area. If you messed up and forgot, or cannot reach the emergency trunk release, you will have to jump your car up front with the battery ports. You can then pop the trunk with the front door switch and reconnect the ground wire in the trunk.
I hope this helped someone.

Purchased the rear view backup camera For my 2014 Audi A4 premium plus S Line with concert Sound Product works exactly as advertised simple install with awesome customer service, Personally I think this camera is actually better than the OEM camera on the same model car from Audi I've had several loners and the camera's picture sucks in Comparison (my opinion) lol.
The 2nd video Jack is awesome also I chosen to use mirabox Therefore anything on my phone can be on my screen nav, GPS, movies, CZcams, Live TV ect. Love the product had it over a year now with no issues whatsoever!!!
SUCCESS B8 A4, A5, Q5 RADAR bar activity works. Need modified custom canbus cables. The positive is that this camera interface supports graphical radar display however the harness needs modifications. I would purchase the old harness and modify that. Now my Q5 is high tech :).
For the cars with 'Audi MMI 3G/4G' the radio will not be in the glove box correct? So you pull the radio out from the middle console? Maybe show both options next video. Also, this works with 2012 S4 also right?

Nice DIY video. But this is lot of careful work and some handyman abilities required.. thats why I hate when the frickin German luxury cars do not come with backup camera as standard. This would be a $100 or less at OEM level...

This system if you have the graphical parking distance sensors, does not support radar graphical display front or rear if your audi is B8 non mmi concert radio version. Totally let down really bcs you loose this functionality.

If yes, that this unit will work on your A6, with A6 the install is a bit more complex, but in sort, yes it's plug and play. I looked on your website, if I order the apple CarPlay there’s an option to add rear camera to that package, is it the same camera as you installed above and do you have any videos installing both apple and android play as well as camera at the same time? In an Audi MMI 3G
Our carplay kit is a different unit that has built-in: carplay, android auto, mirrorlink, usb multimedia player, support backup camera and front camera. As the option you get trunk camera handle, it's a new generation camera, slightly different that shown in this old video. Unfortunately, we don't have a video yet for MMI 3G, but you will get installation guide with the purchase of our product.

Dont buy this product my man. Find a local radio and video instal place, it may cost a few more bucks but trust me it will be worth it. I bought this kit for my a5, they didnt send me all the wires needed when i contacted them they said i have to grab my power from the clumate control... once i sudo installed everything guess what the back up camera didnt work. Because the power was coming from the climate control and the rear view camera wasnt getting its signal that i had put the car in reverse. Oh ya missing signal...no way hahah f**ck me right. Dont buy from these guys go local to some one you can talk to :)

Hey man, Great video! Awesome to see that this is possible even after being told by Audi I'd have to install a whole new system ($10,000+). I know you've probably answered this question already, but I need something more specific to my vehicle. I have a 2013 Premium A4. Not sure if I have AMI or MMI (thought I had MMI). Radio is Audi Concert. I'm assuming I'm going to need the software update. If so, how is that done and what do I need to do it. The reason I ask is because I found the trunk handle camera for a great price, I'm just not sure if it comes with the software stuff I need. Any help with this matter would be greatly appreciated.
