NOTE ON THE DOOR POCKET LIGHT: it’s recommended to drill a hole in an area so when the light is installed, the light is located on the bottom side of the door’s armrest. This will give a cleaner install than my installation location in the video.

@@TheFlexxGarage hi mate ive fitted my ambient lighting and having issues. When the door closes the light flickers of only on nearside doors but offside door is fine. I changed modules but still same issue. Seems as if power loss or tripping when closing but i also noticed front passenger door sometimes comes back on. Im totalled confused any idea what it could be please.

Thank you!!!! This was the product I was looking for sooooooo long. My S5 definitely needs ambient light (but without having do use an app or these ugly LED remotes) as well as a carbon fiber upgrade for the ugly Aluminium door trims and this does everything for a really reasonable price :D
I love mine. So glad I did it. It really made me have a new love for my interior on my Audi…especially when my Benz interior is so much better. Now I truly enjoy my Audi interior a lot. Nothing but compliments from my passengers.

Mine is right hand drive so the dash on would be on the wrong side. She’s looking gorgeous... have you the genuine Quattro puddle lights in? I love mine, nicer touch than the 4 rings ..🔥
Those hand gestures are necessary to make the demo fool-proof; a demo has to be that detailed. Mine's also RHD; this is a retrofit I am seriously considering as well.

Thanks but nahh. That’s a lot of work. My mirror have blind spot detection and they can manually fold. Having them auto fold is not much of an added benefit for me to spend all that time and money to do the retrofit.

I actually rock the orange color. It matches well with my stock infotainment screen and it looks good against my gray paint. But I’ll be installing an android screen soon so who knows what color I’ll rock.

Hello buddy, I haven't had any ambient lighting until now and so nothing was activated in the system. I've now installed everything. Everything works, but I can't change the colors and the brightness either. I think I have to go in via a laptop and activate the function so that it works. What do you think ?

This video is almost 3 years old. I’m not sure if they are selling the exact same kit anymore. I heard they are selling a new version that slightly different. You will need to contact DMP Car Design and ask them what the differences are.

I got a audi sq5 , there are ambient lightinining but I don’t know how to control the lights, no remote control and the steering wheel buttons are not working with the light. Can you tell me pls where to look for that, thx

I do not know why all the online sales sites say that it is suitable for Audi from 2009 onwards, when there are A4 b8 and from 2008
A lot of these sites go by the model years in their countries (yes, a lot of online resellers for based outside the US).

Not sure. You can check on their website. If not, just get it and vinyl wrap it. The pieces are so flat it’s cake to do it.

Don’t know. As shown in the video, I used a bit that’s about the same size of the cylindrical part of the handle light.
The drill bit for the door is included in my kit. Not sure if it’s included in the kit for purchase. You need to ask DMP.

I have a dude if it is driven with the steering wheel I can use the old function that it had from the factory or it is replaced to change the lights
The lights have nothing to do with your steering wheel functions. The lights only change if you press an exact combination of steering buttons at the same time.

Good morning friend, a question. Like me when it comes to installing an Android screen after having installed that light kit. because I see that everything is connected when connecting that is under the glove compartment
I answered this question a few times in the comment second. The ambient kit cause an extra plug to piggyback the android onto it. So both can still be connected to the canbus port.
But what about the light in the cup holders?
does it come with installation manual or video? i have the a5 model might be slightly different than what you have here. thanks
Most aftermarket parts don’t come with instructions. That’s why parts suppliers recommend you have a professional install the parts. Luckily DMP is pretty helpful and can guide you if you can do the majority of the stuff I did in my video. If you’ve never taken apart your car, then instructions aren’t going to help you. You risk doing damage and better off having a shop do the install if you want good results.
On their website for the trim that says s-line doesn’t actually say s-line on their pictures of the product. Will it still come with the s-line wording

Mine was silver trim. Then I put some cheap carbon overlay stickers on them. Then I took them off and installed these in the video.

Huh? There’s no stock wiring for ambient lights. The Audi b8 and b8.5 platforms never came with stock ambient lights or wiring for it.
If you mean the footwell lights, you can change the lights and put them on the old wires but you will have no receiver to change colour
