  • I challenged 10 guitar CZcams legends to improvise over the same backing track in the key of C. What I did not say was that there were some spicy things going on in the track... We're seeing how everyone approached playing a solo over the same set of chords!

After going through these a few times I was hearing what everyone else seems to be hearing. Chris Buck and Pete Thorn both have that special sauce in their playing. It's the dynamics and their ability to fluidly connect the notes like a singers voice. It's quite unbelievable. At this level all of these players are tremendous and I love to hear the ideas they all bring to the table.

Chris Buck is quickly becoming one of my new favorite guitarists. Super expressive playing style.

I really think Chris Buck played something with such a perfect feel, tone, and original but proper vocabulary. Right up his alley, I’d say!

Chris Buck is the guitarist's guitarist. He is so subtle and every note is dripping with tonal beauty. Thanks for sharing Chris!
