My favorite song ever ❤ I’m Igbo man this song entire in my brain city boy ❤
City boy will forever be the best guitar band in Ghana that is my personal opinion
Agreed, the black Chinese and his men
Oh where's our legends.Their music's always teaches us a lesson in life.
Authentic music. God bless all the old musicians.
Heeer 4 real J. A Adofo ur incredible incomparable artist in gh truly u're a legend & who's else is here listening in 2019🍁👍
Growing up in Eastern Nigeria in the 90s, this jam was everywhere 👌. Good memories..
Wow! City Boys of Ghana in Eastern Nigeria of those, particularly in Aba and Onitsha is stuff for legends. Unforgettable!
Obo Kwahu is a small town in Ghana but gave the world Nana Kwame Ampadu ( African Brothers) and Obuoba J A Adofo ( City Boys Band) Phenomenal story.
Many more from Kwahu
Songs like these reminds me of my days in Suhum, and of FARISCO.
A part of my life I look back with ultimate nostalgia. How lucky and blessed to have lived in the era!
I'm from Nigeria I don't even understand what they are speaking
Buh I really love the band group
city boys band group legendary tones 🎶
Igwe D'banj
My brother, I grew up on some of those songs and actually enjoyed some of the bands live at Ambassador hotel Aba.
Like you, I don’t understand their language but still cannot stay a day without playing Ghana music
- the class in question.
Some of guys lived in Aba those days.
@@danielakusobi7114 Isn't it wonderful to enjoy great music! I'm in my early thirties, but I appreciate this sort of music a lot. I grew up on this. My wife actually comes from the same place as this band. I'm sure it was wonderful to see them play live. A few days ago I was imagining how it must have been to see these guys play, while I was listening to Canodoes Band. Sad there were no video recordings. One love!
the same way i love sunny Ade . Music is spiritual and u got to feel it
If you understand the language I bet your love for the group will be on steroids. I lost my father a month ago and these songs is what keeping me going. God bless, Nigerians are forever our siblings.
I'm also a Nigerian, I love Ghana music very well❤
Was not born around that time, but its indeed a masterpiece...
Impossible! Oh my! This is music! 2020. Groovemonzter just transported me back to the 1970s. I recall my big brother and big sister...Nescafe with Ideal Milk and Tea Bread and Butter.. that was how we enjoyed when my brother played these City Boys 'plates' on his record player machine. Thank yoooou..
Teacher Doku from Akoase Methodist school, god bless u . this is your song . thank YOU for all your did for us .
Aww, 2020, and you still rock adofo.... You are a legend
awww what a song .goosebumps , all over my body
Music is really the nutrition for the soul. When shall the old days music full of wisdom return!
High life music is the best, I appreciate the effort of the guys who arranged all these ones..
2020, still city boys, long life legend

Cocoa
Azumah Nelson
Hi life music!
Lies, made in Aba and Onitsha, Nigeria
Jerome Arthurnuelsz
Ok bro I didn’t know that the music was made in Nigeria but all the artists are Ghanaians though!!
One love bro
@@jeromearthurnuelsz9600 stop being dumb! It was Ghanaians that originated this kind of music. It's called highlife music. Very Ghanaian! Some Ghanaians transported the music to Nigeria. That doesn't mean it belongs to you. Learn your history and stop picking unnecessary arguments. This is why most people don't like nigerians. Bullies and toxic trait is what u exhibit the most, always forcing to take what doesn't belong to you. Shameful! This is common knowledge in history. Go do research and never misbehave this loosely again. Nsɛm hunu aa kwaakwa
@@Kingoftheimmigrants4646 you also fell for his lies. I'm disappointed. Highlife music originated from Ghana and this is common knowledge. We ORIGINATED this music. Nigerians only copied from us. Never let urself be bullied and lied to again ok!
Listening at the moment from St Croix, US Virgin Islands 🇻🇮🇬🇭
City Boys International good music. Old Ghanaian music. Reminds me Old days.please you people Should keep it alive. thanks and God bless.
Adofo and ampadu are seriously game changers
OMG ! 8:41 That tune sends chills down my spine.. Just as you want to give up, you get inspired by good music. Something you can actually relate to. Thumps up to good MUSIC..
Right!
This is what we call music best of all the nowadays azonto music etc
Where's my weed🚬, smoking with this song is best feeling ever 😎
Toboy Ali u bi too much I like that combination weed with high life like this
@@princeyeboah6396 Haha
Needs to give this a try. I can already see the magic
Roged you toboy, The real music is high life, and the high life is weedddddddddddd
Smoking weed atm and listen to this blast
Takoradi Sika Dua Ase!!! Ahanta Bar was the place where a stream of killer hit highlife melodies of the days played every evening. The line up of songs included anything from Jimmy Cliff to Nana Ampadu and from Obuoba Adofo to Kojo Akwaboa Snr. The musical rage was from the early to the mid 70s. Thanks to the heroes who made highlife what it truly was and should ave continued to be. Unfortunately, they have adulterated it in the name of contemporary music. We lost everything, how sad!!!!!!!
City Boys lives long. my dad got me into liking this band group. As a little boy, perhaps less than 5years then I began to hear my nigga dad play it while he sip his whisky. Today, I am still in love with this legendary band. Looking for a Ghanian lady who can dance it with me and interpret the meaning to me.....
Nice tunes.
I just like Ghanaian music eventhou I don't understand the language. We play their music in our picnics.
Highlife Music the way it was in West Africa back in the day.
No
Great great composer and terrific singer with voice, City Boys. Love Adofo's music.
Most high level vibration 👆🏾👆🏾👆🏾
All happened during my time as a formidable striker, i listened to this music on and on before marching onto the field, the music spins around my brain and i dance with the ball with some terrific movements scoring some beautiful goals as i recalled. City boys will remain in my heart for the rest of my life. It was classic moment of my life. From 1975 all the way to 1983 was my time in active football.

are you a witness?
Michael, very nice!!
Rashford's father
@@ben_5466 That’s correct, he is continuing where I left it, but I still truthfully believed I was faster, quicker and more deadlier than Rashford in the box and on one on one. Anyone who has actually seen me playing in those days will tell you I was more exciting on the ground than Rashford but he ll get there as time goes. Today I brought joy and pride to Ghanaians for producing a sensation for both Manchester United and England. I went to Solomon Commercial college Koforidua, but firstly went to Teshie Presbyterian secondary school where I teamed up with Hesse Odamtten and Lomotey. At Solomon commercial I was the sports captain played against several opponents mostly at Prisons park, and against Sectec, New juaben Moses also played against the great Ipele Aboagye of Okwahu United but first at Highway Authority, played against PWD, intravenous Pharmaceuticals, then to Tema Played for Paint division of Gihoc teaming up with Apleh, Teiku, Borteir, then back to play with Selas Tetteh at CMB Koforidua under Asante Boakye then to Akotex played with Lomo Mitchel, Kansam, Moses Okyere, Oheba Siaw, Yaw Mark and Amankrado it was the best moments of my life so Marcus Rashford is a legacy and I owe all these greatness to the people of Koforidua Tema Accra Nkawkaw Oyoko, Labadi, Teshie of course my home town so Ben thank you for the acknowledgement and compliment thank you. I am sure you love Rashford skills
