I'm huge Filler fan, but I'm very happy that Lee Van won this match. It's great for pool that a veteran of the game rose to the occasion and played damn near perfect pool. Joshua made some mistakes, but I don't think anyone could have beaten Lee Van this day. Congratulations LVC! You deserved this!
i just found out he is 44 yo, he loos very young
Jeremy Jones is taking it to a whole new level of commentary.
One of the most impressive 9 ball performances I’ve watched!
Gotta say, always liked Lee Van's game and was pulling for him but did not think he could dominate the whiz-kid like that. Wonderful pool, deep pleasure to watch it.
Yes, superb!
His character was calm and genuine humble too, and that's one thing important for a world class champion players👍🏻. Btw this was a nice HQ video, thank you for sharing🙏🏻🙏🏻
here in Manila, I play in the pool hall where LVC practices. He would either play 15-ball rotation or practice long shots. he does this alone for many hours.
Lee Van corteza is underrated . He is one player that has a special talent !!!!
FUCKING SPOT ON! UNDERRATED! Completely agree!
He needs to win big tournaments like us open. 9 ball
100% Agree with you. In Manila, he is a star but yet very humble. Believe it or not, there are lots of up and comers back home that has the same attitude and style like LVC. America will get to see them soon hopefully. LVC has been great for the game. Hands down to Josh.
Watched it live, great match. Thanks for the upload!
Our pleasure!
@Sharivari you gotta convince the players to wear go-pros! Lol (though I'd legit like to see that from the players perspective on the down shot)
I was there too. I actually have the towel Shuman used to clean the cue ball. I had Lee Van sign it afterwards.

57:06 Sick. And keep JJ as a commentator. He's great!
Good commentators Pat!
Everything is perfect. Video, Audio, Commentators. The Players are beyond perfect.
This guy Lee Vann Corteza should be in the pool hall of fame someday. He plays pool great but underrated.
our names are similar. I had Lee Van sign the ball cloth afterwards. I followed him the entire event. Such a solid and underrated dude like you said.
Couldn't believe it when they said LV is 40. I hope I look that good when I'm 40 👴🏽
Hahahaha we Filipinos stays looking young longer. I met a Russian lady and when i told her than im turning 36, she couldnt believe it. She even accused me of drinking babies blood. Hahahaha
2 of the best commentators. Thanks for the upload.
This guy corteza 57.04 minute.. realy crazy.. good shot 🔥🔥🔥 you are the best
LVC's form is superb, like robot-like. No wonder he's so precise.
I'm not even watching live but my heart stops during and every shots that Lee Van Corteza made, such an enjoyable and learning viewing this pool game. Also the commentators were awesome, thank you
Lee Van is one of the most underrated players in the sport. He can be easily be top 5 9&10 ball player in the world, the problem is his hunger and desire. But any day he can beat Filler, SVB, Shaw, Orcullo. Plus, he is known to throw some money ball games back home.
Even carlo biado tho. In phillipine corteza so dangerous player.
LVC is only under rated to casuals....everybody IN pool knows he's a monster
What a nice match to watch. and that high quality commentary. thumbs UP~!!!
Glad you enjoyed!
JJ and Mark work well together. The respectfully give other time to express their views about the match even if they disagree at times. They should be paired up more often. Thanks Accu Stats for the great video!
What a pleasure to watch. This channel is amazing. Thank you Pat
You are so welcome
I came up gambling pool in Houston in the early/mid 90s when I was in my late teens early 20s and saw JJ play up close and personal quite a bit. During this match he mentioned his dad not being a big fan of him playing pool seriously then coming around once he saw he was a serious player I thought that was pretty interesting I'd like to hear more about his early years coming up
Loved the commentary on here. Congratulations kabayan LVC. 😊
Filler still a beast. Just had more unforced errors this match.
Thank you 😁
dang 978 is insane
LVC is such a great player. His stroke is so smooth! Love watching two of my heros play!!
where are the people who said that Corteza only got lucky against Joshua in the last video?
Wow 😳....what a f....a performance from Corteza, never see something like that.....👏👏👏
We agree!
It literally doesnt get much better than this..wow.
Josh just didnt hit them shots like he usually does. And Lee drilled him for his mistakes..and then some.
Out standing play by Lee.
Extremely impressive
Some of the best pool I ever saw.
Corteza shoots like Grady Matthews. He doesn't stroke it like Efren, Joshua or Strickland does, but sort of pops or quickly punches or pushes his cue when he shoots. I've been taught stroking your cue is the better way to shoot pool, but Grady shoots exceptionally well and so do others who play this way. For me, I do both depending on the shot and how well I'm shooting. I've found on some shots just a quick movement of my wrist to cue the shot is very accurate.
The shorter the backswing, the less margin there is fo error..
Wow Lee Vann is from my city. I cant believed he dominated Filler in this match. Total @$$ whipping. If he play like that all the time he will be hard to beat. Thanks for the video. Greenville, SC!
You get these two guys commentating and you can learn quite a bit. I like that they see shots differently sometimes and discuss it, and I like when NEITHER of them gets it right like that high quality draw Corteza put on to get down table on the closer side of the eight.
I thought the gal in black on the right was funny on that shot Corteza jacked way up on at the rail. Her face looked like it would if she thought she was biting into an orange and got a lemon...and then she was first out of the gate with the applause...AND gave him the 'worship' bow. All pretty appropriate for that shot. I especially hate those, for some reason, when they are almost dead straight with that one about was, too.
When you can do that to Filler, you know you are kickin' it. :-) Corteza really is not afraid to pull out a stroke and do some magic with the cue when necessary. Some pretty gutsy very accurate play there.
Thx again for the great commentary Mark and Jeremy.
Try aiming straight into the rail, on those , jacked up it throws the ball right in, I'm.talking about aiming outside the pocket by half s diamond..
Lee Vann played closed to perfect .. he was on fire on this match, unbeatable form.
.978 is some pretty serious speed! Stronger than a 🧄 milkshake

Awesome performance from Lee Van Corteza. Truly the Slayer!
Thank for the upload Sir Pat!
Glad you enjoyed it
Another great match 💯! Thanks Accu-stats for these complete matches and keep them coming
Thanks, will do!
fillers black cat had a frown most of the match. bless her heart
Some good safety play early in the match, something that's been lacking in the last few videos, good match!
@57:00 Watch the facial reaction of the lady in black blouse beside the guy who's on the yellow shirt react to LVC shot.😀😃
Great video, Accu-Stats! Keep 'em coming...
More to come!
That was a statement win by the veteran Corteza. You may be world number one with the straightest stroke, but you don't scare me. I got shot-making skills myself plus a better than yours safety play. And I don't get pressured easily cause of my daily big money game experience against the best Filipino cueists.
Just miss the subtitles but everything else perfect !
Amazing match
Always nice to hear Mark and sounds like Howard Cosell 🎱
Lee play so simple and one of the best in the world.
Go team philippines! 🔥
Wow! Phillipino precison performance! Great commentary as usual!
Thank you very much!
Great match 🔥
I'll say!
Does Billy Incardona and Danny DiLiberto still commentate
this is perfect pool been a a while since I watched a perfect match
Wow great match LVC 👋
Someone should make a video stitching together all the “mmmm hmmmm”s of the announcer.
It's nice to see Josh is acting matured now. His young age and ability can take him places.
He got this one his bag shooting near perfect .978 is something
●●● Congrats to Lee Vann Corteza.
Well played!
I have watched this match 5 times
That was insanely great pool! I couldn’t believe some of the shots Corteza was pulling off.
Me neither
Lee Vann Corteza is the Ip Man in the pool world! 🔥🔥🔥💪💪💪
If Corteza had a killer break, he'd be an absolute unbeatable monster
You would think he would pay someone to work out his break.
@@SQ_og This sport really needs some trainer and coaching
Bustamante break
Saludo corteza🔥✊🏻✊🏻
Lee van is one of the most underrated player from the Philippines
Corteza was SMOKIN!
do you have the match between Efren Reyes and CJ Wiley at 1995 Maine Event straight pool?
Yes, it is on our list to Premier.
corteza is underated.this guy is beating the best money game pool players in philippines.i hope he makes a comeback and wins alot of title
Absolutely brilliant
Thank you Pat!!!
You're welcome!
Good match
49:20 lee van’s stroke and pattern play comes from Winifield Alvaran A.K.A “grandmaster sir perfecto” a washed up former Philippine national team player who is a local legend in 3 cushion billiards, nine ball and rotation. Grand master perfecto was my mentor during the early 2000s and was an influence to lee vans game during the late 90’s. Lee van took it to the next level he is a solid grandmaster & is my favorite player.
Accu stats still doing it! Is pat Fleming still alive?
31:15 he hit that shot like I hit balls when I've been practicing all day (about 3 hrs) and I'm ready to go home
When Filler self proclaim as greatest player of billiard today. Hahahahahah
This is one of the rare moment Joshua Filler got dominated.
The referee is quite a character 😂
What a perdormance! Mabuhay
Pure class

🔥~ 👋🎱👄🎱🤚 yusssss
Thanks CAL7A and Wombra. You make it fun for me.

I want to extend my condolences to Pat on the loss of his son.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
Lee Vann Corteza another Philipino super star 🌟 pool player 👌😮
A+ commentary....

LVC stroke is so accurate not a lot of spin but will go to the direction he wants
Estas finales lvc filler ya se han ganado los dos.excelentes jugadores.

REAL fine! 👏
WOW, Lee Van! .978! Awesome! Go Philippines!
Lee van so far has the most winning rate against Joshua Filler
How do you get a pool nickname?
Legend🎉🎉🎉
congrsts van2x davao, god bless.
Filler is the Killer Filler
Corteza is the Filler Killer😊🖖
Ability,mentality,and fortunate...
Why is there no more uploads in over a month now?
Sadly, a death in the immediate family. Uploads will return in February.
@@AccuStats Sorry to hear about that :(
I watch this match every time I miss an easy shot.
total domination
Commentator 1's favorite word... "touchy". Commentator 2.."mmhmm".
idol lee van , no.1 fans nyo po. saka masaya po kme na nakapunta ka po sa restaurant na tinatrabauhan ko po tapos nag takeout pa kayo. Hihi.
I'm confused by the sequence at 25:00 when Corteza broke, didn't make a ball, Filler pushed out, Corteza then played safe but Filler passed it back to him. Did I miss something??
I was confused at first then I put extra attention to details and this is what happened.
Lee Van broke dry at 23:53
Joshua pushed at 24:17
Then you see Lee Van squaring up to take the shot at 25:06, however at 25:09 you can see only the hands, but he takes his chalk and walks away, so basically he didn't like the shot and put Joshua back
You can confirm this, as the hand that takes the shot at 25:20 is a right bridge hand, with a glove and a half inch ferrule shaft. All contrary to lee vans left bridge hand, no glove and a one inch ferrule. Also Lee van doesn't wear a ring on his finger while he plays, Joshua does. Hope it clears that out for you.
@@52alkom duh it happened kinda quick i didn't see Joshs gloved hand quickly take the shot. He took a lot of quick rushed shots in this match. It's one thing to play fast and loose but that tactic obviously didn't work for him here he got smoked
@@squeegied3rdeye713 no worries. Yeah that specific moment bugged me as well so I had to pause the video and put the sherlock hat on lol.
And well that's joshua for you. Pure straight talent and shot making. Usually this fast pace works well for him, as he at a young age has had great success. Im glad this time it didn't though, Lee Van is my #2 favorite player ever and he was absolutely dominating here.
Joshua with time will eventually mature and combined with his great talent will probably dominate for a long time. Even if you shoot great, I would say you shouldn't rush yourself. Consistency is key.
@@52alkom yea Lee Van is also my 2nd fav to watch behind Pagulayan (who's not been good at all lately) but Josh is basically still a kid and will do a ton of winning in the next 10/15 years for sure
Corteza did not shoot the 1ball after Filler's push out
Congrats LVC. Ariba Bisaya
Indah prefeck
those 2 women must have bet on Lee
Pls tell me this is before pandemic
It was.
The lady in black blouse in the gallery on her phone and yawning. Do you really deserve a front row seat?
