Dagan Smith it’s guaranteed to be a success 0% of the time, and a complete failure 1,000,000% of the time
Starting out with a basic unit as a king, and giving the looser a chance to gamle and swap his king on the wheel of units for whatever he gets, instead of getting a free unit, could be good!
I really like this idea, gives the illusion of a battlefield promotion or level up mechanic.

Also, would be more balanced if the wheel of losers replaced your king with a unit of equal points, to prevent replacing a catapult with the ice giant or something.

Tom, if you’re using the site I think you’re using for the wheel, there is a setting in the customisation options that makes it so that a pop up comes up on screen, announcing which thing it stopped on, just so it’s easier to see what it lands on

@@BodywiseMustard The point is that going first gives you the disadvantage because your opponent can counter your set-up.

feels like roof strat is way too overpowered. enemies just run into wall the whole time

balance suggestion: large units can destroy the buildings. imagine a giant smashing the base and the walls fracture and the roof comes down... that would be Totally Awesome.

Like the king game mode but dont think you should use wheel of losers for it, swapping the king and moving the line is too stronk for a more specialised mode
Moving the line should only last for one battle imo

I agree with this, and I also don't really like moving the line at all, especially not in a gamemode like this.
I think the wheel of losers is fine, but maybe adapt it a bit, like changing the king to a slightly weaker unit like a squire rather than leaving it up to the players
The new King thing is pretty fun, the wheels of fortune favor is with the return of TABS!

6:30 Wheel of losers doesnt work with this mode. If Tom wanted to he could have changed your leader to the Wheelbarrow Dragon and you would insta lose. Even if he changed the line he could move behind your king catapult.

Nah your still right. Both the leader mode and wheel of users are fun to watch, but together they kinda mess things up. Change the leader can be easily exploited and so can moving the line. I know they can do things to keep things more fair/interesting but if you can win a round instantly because of something you got on the wheel then the balance needs tweaking a bit I think.

Really like a lot of the changes to these videos. The wheels are really nice to mix things up tho I find the move the line ability frustrating as it makes the fights harder to follow personally and also kind of less interesting. Still love these videos! :D

But isn't that the whole point of tabs? Develop a strategy and then watch the AI mess it all up.

The way it’s like a decent battle simulator with decent-ish balanced units but can be derailed by units going for a stuck guy on a roof or units accidentally self-destructing is great
I could see some people being annoyed by these aspects but they’re some of my favorite parts.

loads of people saying too many wheels is ruining the balance but imo the wackyness just adds to the randomness and hilarity
I think an interesting twist on this "Regicide" gamemode would be the ability to freely switch the King's position per round.

Idea for a faction choice on the wheel:
One each from left - you can take one unit from any faction but you have to work your way from left to right, getting a tribal unit to unlock farmers and etc
I have a suggestion for a challenge match: Halfway through the match just 180 the line, which swaps which side is which so red has to place new units in blue territory and vice versa. It'd be cool to see how everybody reacts when placing new units ON TOP of previously positioned units.
Me at the start of the video: catapults as the king units? This will be a short game.

There is a problem with the sharpshooter I’ve noticed from my own experience, it may screw up its aiming while changing targets or for no reason at all. They are good for one powerful long-range shot but after that don’t expect them to do much until a patch comes out.

The "change your leader" option is powerful if you can just choose any new unit to make your leader without concern for the round point limit... It should be they get to choose any unit in their current army or units chosen for the current buy turn.
Could be an idea to change the "change leader" options to "roll on the wheel of units, then pick if that is your or opponents new leader"
