I do think Tom should have a beginning wheel with only two options for either the king mode or just regular battle. More wheels is more good!

@@mm-it9cd I was wondering because they seemed to mention in-person things a lot; is that the only reason?? I assumed they were streaming into each other. If they are doing in-person then they should just do facecam. Its not like the two of them sitting together is any worse than simon's peculiar portions which has been on the main channel for months.
@@electronic_bunny weren't most of the ones that have gone up filmed in one long sitting before the lockdown? Lewis said something about that once on a stream
@@shanadir He said there were a few done that way, but there was an "extra" bits (maybe it was members only) really early on about a pre-vid discussion the first time Lewis and simon were back recording together for them. Lewis made this thing about being 6 ft but measured it on that set and it was ridiculous, there was no way to do it. So you get simon doing this hilarious face and voice while tapping the couch "Get over here you sexy thing". And yeah all their vids since then have been in person.
Tom giving out bottle caps as HORSE tokens makes so much sense but I was no expecting it at all. Burst out laughing at the strange rustling
I am very glad for passive confirmation that the cap collection is still thriving in these trying times.
I love how Lewis is not necessarily the funniest, not the biggest personality, but he's a master at making content extremely enjoyable. definitely my favorite

@@georgehh2574 they said not the funniest not unfunny. Nor a big personality (there's no reason a more calm personality is bad, sometimes rare in his field). But that's just what I interpreted.
ironically i think lewis is the funniest and has the biggest personality (the latter one for sure) because of how deranged he has become in his later years.
You can tell it's going to be a good one by the length of the video.

Move the line is really powerful, it should just be rotate the line, so then you can't just give your enemy a sliver.
Yeah but most of the time they A) Don't do that or B) It's funny and makes the content more enjoyable. The wheels, despite Tom's insistence, aren't balanced and should really just be taken lightly as a way to make the game more fun.
@@yakobsoulstorm5187 yeah but move the line is just so strong, it's like the "choose what general to give your opponent" if you get that option you can just win if you want to.
So either you just win way too easily or you just go easy on your opponent which isn't fun
I feel the best version of that would be spinning the line, and then picking a side.
@@melanoc3tusii205 I think that's too close to the wacky one tbh. If you can only rotate the line it's hard to give yourself much more advantage than your opponent, but it's still good.
@@ninjacell2999 As stated before, it's not intended to be balanced. Yeah they could be total dicks about it and move the line in such a way, but that wouldn't be fun for them or the viewers. I'm fully aware that it could be abused and as for "going easy on your opponent" it's not fun to utterly steamroll someone without any possibility of challenge.

The wheels are nearing a point of perfection, I love them. I also liked how in this video, the main fights were often just a prelude to two artemises tottering about and eventually falling in holes.
Tom with his plastic cap collection in a Fallout scenario would feel like the dude that invested in crypto and not gold or something.

I think with the addition of the leader the "move the line" option needs to go. They're sort of mutually exclusive
yeah, seeing "move the line" come up feels real bad. So much so that the players even take the gentlemanly way of not completely minimizing play area for the opponent
Maybe replace “move the line” with “move the leader”. Both leaders get moved to the same positions on each side..
Or they could just, y'know, not be assholes and use it in moderation. It's a stupid wheel system Tom created to be played by friends, so power abuse isn't a problem.

Love these videos Tom! Once you finish going through the test maps, you ought to make The Wheel of Maps, which you spin at the beginning to decide what map you'll battle on.
3:26 blue boye gets scared, runs away, falls down a hole and gets shot in the ass.
The only thing I'm not a big fan of is playing maps like this, where everyone falls off. It makes the strategies so limited and makes so many fun units useless.
I wish tabs could make a way to move your army to different maps, or save your "loadout". That way you could start on open maps, but the wheel of wacky can move you to one of the maps that are 90% void.
If only units had slightly better pathing, and flying units would actually fly instead of hovering. But I still find it enjoyable to watch.
I love that Lewis gave Tom a "mouth satchel" at the end there. Very considerate. Well played.

This video is essentially a pitched battle from movies.
Starts off fairly normal, two formations facing off. Then slowly it descends into a massive brawl, with fighting all across the battlefield, people essentially just doing duels instead of proper fighting. ^^
