Thank you! I still haven't decided what to do with it but it just seems kinda blocky to me.

@@workbenchknifeandtoolIf anything just round the corners off a hair and it’ll get rid of that blocky feel. Don’t round too much it it’ll be slippery

I bought the ripper as a blade blank and attached wood scales. It makes a good steak knife. The only problem is the blade is so symmetrical that if I'm not careful I grab it upside down.

Just be careful not to press your thumb on the edge when it is upside down! Thanks for watching and commenting!

Great video! I've just discovered this historic brand and absolutely love them. My paternal great-grandfather was a true wild west cowboy in New Mexico and Texas in the 1880s. They were known as stockmen back then. I wonder if he carried a Green River Knife. Anyhow, thanks for the great video. You've got a new subscriber.

I am glad you enjoyed the video. How cool to know your great grandfather was a real part of the old west! I have another video I did recently on the Green River Hunting and Fishing knife. Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing!

Now you've done it. I'll have to get a Pacific Paring knife blade for use as my patch knife. Great video, thanks for sharing.

I hope you have an easier time than I finding time to go shoot black powder rifles! Thank you for watching and commenting!
