"That, which was once: what was...is now, no longer only. It is but the first and here am I on the 2nd. How many more for us there are? are over there in vast beautiful space." :")
Harry T excellent detective work. I’m not surprised that Chris Morris’ encyclopaedic (no pun intended) knowledge extends to Glass. That guy has been writing the same piece and calling it different names for years.
No-one seems intelligent enough to do satire properly anymore, Morris was the last one to really understand how to expose the establishment to its' absurdities. Young people today are so indoctrinated to the machinations of the system with its' subtle ways of programming them with its' technology they seem less capable of instinctively zoning in on a creative generational perception outside the established norm laid down by society. I think all this technology has seriously interfered with the creative mind making people duller earlier than previous generations plus all this conformity to a political and ideological inquisition of thought control has left them less bold and willing to take risks with their creative minds hence these derivative dullards and quota policy types now masquerading as comedians.
I think TDT benefits from the visuals but this is a fabulous prototype. Not all of it is Grade A but when it hits home it's as good as anything CM has done.
The noises made by a bereaved & an injured (Probably by Peter Baynham) are the funniest thing ever 😂
That musical interpretation of the earthquake :)
Dr. Fact is knocking on the door, for god's sake someone let the man in!
Lovely stuff.
A great early appearance by Peter O'HanrahanO'Hanrahan. Or something.

The best worst journalist ever.

Peter O’Hanraha-Hanrahan.
No comments?! How about brilliant, brilliant, brilliant.

I read that CM is quite a Glass fan, particularly the Koyaanisqatsi OST.
As soon as I heard it I knew it had to be Philip Glass.

Not all young people are the dribbling brain-dead Internet rotted airheads you make them out to be
I'm happy for you, or I'm sorry that happened. I'm not gonna read all that.
The industrial revolution and it's consequences...
OK boomer
It's kind of boring. Not as good as the Day to Day, which is delightful. Except, "Flappy or amorous." That's a good one.
Really? I love The Day Today and can recite most of it by heart, and I think this is nearly as good. It's fantastic!

I honestly love this as much as The Day Today and Brass Eye. it's wonderful to listen to on headphones while at work.
