Hello Happy Travelers!
Welcome onboard Odyssey of the Seas, Royal Caribbean’s newest ship! This is a Quantum Plus class ship! This ship is very similar to Quantum class ships, such as Anthem of the Seas, but has new features unique to Odyssey! Some of the classic Quantum inclusions found on Odyssey include the SeaPlex, Two70, Cafe at Two70, the North Star, Ripcord by iFly, Bionic Bar, Flowrider, and the Royal Esplanade! New features include Playmakers located in the SeaPlex, SkyPad, laser tag, Zone Zero (virtual reality game), Lime & Coconut Bar, Caribbean Pool Deck, and El Loco Fresh!
Today is boarding day! We are leaving from Fort Lauderdale, Florida (Port Everglades) on a six night sailing visiting Perfect Day at CocoCay, Costa Maya, and Cozumel Mexico! We have waited a long time to board this ship, so today was very exciting! We love our cabin for this sailing, which is an aft balcony, and I can tell we are going to have some amazing wake views! Per usual with boarding day, we cover an array of house keeping items, such as discussing the boarding process, required documents, showing our stateroom, explaining E-Muster Drill, and making show reservations on the Royal Caribbean App! Another exciting thing about this cruise is that this is our first sailing reaching Diamond status with the Crown & Anchor Society, so we showed and discussed some of the new benefits! We spent a lot of time today exploring the ship, watching a beautiful sail away, and eating delicious pub food! And, of course, scoping out some night aesthetic (™️ Hoffman Happy Travels)!

Hello!!! Love the odyssey. We just got off 10 days ago and love it. We were the first couple to be married on the ship and the captain documented it all because it was the first one. We had an amazing grand suite on deck 11!!!!!….totally miss the room and our steward!!!

Question, as to im going to this cruise leaving from florida aswell, If its a closed circuit cruise, do i still need to have a passport to be able to board?
Hi! Broadly speaking if it is a closed circuit cruise that starts and ends in the U.S. you do not need a passport, a photo ID and birth certificate will be accepted. Finally I get to see vlogs of this ship from content creators. Only other vlog I found was from random couple documenting their vacation, wasn't complete enough for me. It's on my short list of future cruises, which means not in '22 but either '23 or '24 in all likelihood.

So everyone on the ship have the vaxx and pcr test and you still have to have a mask on
Hi JoeGrow! The requirements of this sailing was adults must be vaccinated and a rapid test must be completed 2 days prior to sailing. Once onboard masks are required inside unless you are in a vaccinated only area. We hope this helps! 🤗
