    Why does a farrier need to burn the shoe to the hoof, then rasp more hoof off again?

      Burning the shoe on creates a perfect fit for the shoe to the foot. It will burn all the little uneven bumps down flat.

      If i had horses i would pay whatever this master of his craft requested. The care and attention to detail is outstanding ❀

      I'm not a farrier, but I own horses. For barefoot trimming, it averages to about 40 dollars per horse, and for trimming and shoeing, I believe it is around 80-100. Don't mark my words on that one though, because my horses are barefoot, but that is the price that all of my horsie friends say who shoe their horses.
