JT, don't overly concern yourself with trolls because when you have almost 34,000 subscribers out there - most of whom are from this side of the 'Pond' here in the U.K. - we'll collectively make mincemeat out of them.
As sarcasm is part of our daily lives and we use it very effectively amongst ourselves - even amongst our closest relatives and friends - it's rarely used to get personal, offensive or malicious towards one another although on occasion it can be used as a formidable weapon to ridicule people who justly deserve it. When you eventually learn how to use it effectively then you'll automatically become an honorary Brit.
As to those same trolls that might take it upon themselves to try to attack you they're all pathetic, jealous lowlifes who really need to get a life and go elsewhere to be miserable rather than trying to spoil your life and those of your almost 34,000 subscribers, aren't they? :-)

I don’t know what your water is like in your neck of the woods (meaning your local supply area), but in general water here in the UK is usually described as hard or soft, which refers to the amount of minerals desolved in the water. I ask this because the taste of teas are changed depending on the water type. For instance the water in my area is a soft water and so the best tea here in Yorkshire is the Yorkshire tea with the Red markings on the box, but Yorkshire teas are also available to suit hard water. They are sold in boxes with blue markings and also gold tea for other types of water. A quick indication of the type of water you have is weather your water heater, steam iron, kettle gets furred up on the heating element, if it gets furred up, it’s hard water. Not a problem but it will change the taste of your cuppa tea.

On the old titles book one very strange UK rule is that you are not permitted to resign your seat in the House of Commons. To get round this an MP may accept the titles of Crown Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead or the Steward of the Chiltern hundreds. Which are officies for proffit under the crown which disqualifies them from sitting as an MP. As they accept the position they are declared as 'unseated' and a by-election is held in their former seat in which they are barred from standing. These positions do change hands quite often.
They can, however, just not stand for re-election in the next general election and no title is granted. When parliament is dissolved about 4 weeks before the election the Queen technically sacks all 650 MPs and requests the country to elect the next parliament at this point they are no longer MPs until (and if) they are re-elected. However, the government stays in office until after the election when a new one is formed.

    Lion Rampant :D
The Royal Banner of the Royal Arms of Scotland, also known as the Royal Banner of Scotland, or more commonly the Lion Rampant of Scotland, and historically as the Royal Standard of Scotland, or Banner of the King of Scots is the Royal Banner of Scotland, and historically, the Royal Standard of the Kingdom of Scotland. Used historically by the Scottish monarchs, the banner differs from Scotland's national flag, the Saltire, in that its correct use is restricted by an Act of Parliament.
In short it's a rebellious flag.
