@novy1198 nah, it allows you to rotate better and make him much more viable in ranked. It's also insane for pushes and flanks. If you can hit your flicks, you can chain into a slide and finish a kill. It's really satisfying.

It’s crazy how Bangalore has been mid tier/ balanced for years then after getting nerfed she’s S tier. Just goes to show how influenced we all are by who the pros are picking
Yea nah "influenced we all are by the pros" don't apply, been using bang since s0. "The pros" only picked her up because they realized denying LoS is pivotal for rotations and primarily to disable AA. She's always been good. Shiv and before him, Shroud have known that for YEARS.
Pros play a entirely diff game, theyre going to use legends with the most room for error so they can win $$$, Bang has always been that Versatile Legend that can push, escape, or anchor for her team in any situation.
No, they shined light on her and showed people her potential. Also pros were using her mainly because digi was in crafter

I think your list is too focused on combat only, that was your reasoning for where you put lots of legends. Wattson and Rampart in D tier is crazy, they both offer so much defense and are huge in ranked for holding down buildings or areas. Not saying they're S or even A, but bare minimum B. Imo you gotta factor in everything when doing these lists, not just how legends fair in a straight 3v3.

i love to see how he literally puts crypto in c like bruh he's literally annoying to others in ranked game and easily distracts players while scanning and pick up banners from zones and call in mrb even in end game lol, choom you just focused on edge not survival or tactics so i call this tier list worthless
@@dragonrider1833 Crypto can be annoying but you've got to remember on a game where 3rd parties happens a lot, stand still in a corner with no cues of what's going on around your character is very risky and if things happen quickly; if your team decides to push you'll always be 3-4 seconds too late and that can be the factor that makes you lose a teamfight. I said it since the beginning, if the timing going in-n-out of his drone was smaller he would be much much faster in a team fight
you guys in the replies are looking at this wrong he’s ranking based off solo que combat abilities which is why i think they a screwed but if you team comp wattson crypto and any fragger it instantly makes all 3 viable but because this is combat viability obviously the combat focused legends will be in S and my favorite legend wattson is in D
I think this tier list is hard to do because each legend shines on different maps. Rampart for example- I agree with D-Tier for Kings Canyon and Broken Moon, but for some reason she SHINES and becomes A-Tier in my eyes on Olympus. The smaller map and tight spaces allow her to play off the terrain a lot easier.
Same with other legends. Loba is definitely S-Tier imo on Worlds Edge because she shines at those tight, high-packed loot POIs and terrain to bracelet thru, but suffers on Broken Moon and Storm Point because of the larger POI’s.
Exactly. It also differentiates between skill. Rampart and Octane are way better in lower leagues than Gibraltar and Wattson are in lower leagues. The roles are reversed in higher ranked.
I have actually been playing Mirage this season, I never thought I'd like playing Mirage this much but it's a lot of fun. Those stealthy revives are clutch sometimes, I used the temporary invisibility to get behind someone and beam them into oblivion. Not to mention, the ult is great at confusing the hell out of Bloodhound.

yeah I'm a mirage main this season as well , I used to be a fuse but wanted to be a support where I could help teammates more. I feel like mirage is the best support in the game . That invisibility revive is not only good but it gives you a way to get a revive in and then use the ultimate
There’s no way you put Rampart in D-tier, I’m not Rampart main, but on SP and OLY she is very strong, as she can provide cover in the open field and with her recent buff she does it very fast and doesn’t feel clunky, also the kinda counters Cat, because she is one of the few legends that can keep Cat on distance from doors and don’t let her reinforce doors forever

Sorry man, Wattson is A-tier. Easy to learn hard to master, you can use her aggressively or bunker up. Her fence becomes really annoying during late game when shit gets hectic and rings get smaller. Especially now when everyone is running Bang / Catalyst, her fences can really catch you off guard.
Ash's pickrate kinda lives on cool-factor

When I get mad I switch to Ash. She's my try hard pick. But she needs some love :( but I also love that no one picks her. Just ppl with style
Her kit should be more like her ronin titan. Actually be able to use her sword to deflect some damage from the front and deal extra melee damage with her sword. She should be a legend you don't want to fight close quarters but can still be countered by controller legends to balance it out

We need an ash update, or buff her up even give her a reborn. She's my main and aside for her needing more story, game wise she needs to get more. Same with LifeLine but nothing is being done with ash.
We got our new legend, and conduit is nice and all; respawn needs to work on their legends.
At least lifeline has been leaked to be getting a rework. Unfortunately it's gonna be a while for ash :/
Give her sword core like her titan had, being able to block some damage from the front with her sword and actually be able to attack with it with a speed boost or a dash or something. She should be a character you don't want to fight in close quarters
I agree. Ash is my main and she needs a buff. I wish she had a heirloom that actually fit her since she is Titanfall related ..

Loba main here and I’m happy she gets some recognition. She is overall a amazing legend to help your team get loot and as I do often get your teammates cards after they died. And the offensive and defensive use of her tactical is perfect
I solo queue so I'll always love a loba. It's just convenient to have, only negative for me is im not sure which role to play because I usually pick a support just to try and help the team (mainly Newcastle or conduit for ranked atm)

Surprised Valk isn't used more as ring and team positioning has become a much bigger focus in ranked these last couple seasons.
She's only good for early macro rotation, and even then she doesn't really get you that much farther than an evac tower. Once she's in the final two rings her ult is sort of pointless. Better to have Horizon for micro rotations at that point. Her Q is faster and more practical in smaller rings with limited space to move around. That's why Valkyrie's pick rate among REAL PREDS is basically zero. Storm healers and under the map cheaters don't count.
@@NN-oz6rr agreed! I do like valk, but when I do play her, I find that unless there's height I can reach to gain an advantage over a team, she kind of falls flat. A lot of people do seem to use her in order to rotate early and anchor, so I understand that part. But once she's in a building or an enclosed space, she's pretty much like pathy
I play valk and I don't really tend to fly away from fights unless I'm the last one in my squad but overall I agree with her rank her ultimate isn't as useful since jump towers exist

Been playing blood again exclusively. Never though I’d say it, but he is probably my fav legend to play. I play a wide variety of legends too and bloodhound for kills is behind wraith and lifeline. Most people don’t know how to use him though. His buff a couple seasons ago with white raven was a beautiful addition. I pretty much have my ult for every fight and I definitely don’t forget to use it. 🙃
If you have played enough Newcastle, his recovery after using his Ultimate feels very obvious. It was a necessary change and feels much better, although you really shouldn’t be using a Newcastle Ult to leap into a position where you’d need to pull out your gun really fast. Also, maybe it’s my imagination, but it seems like he can Ult up onto even higher buildings and terrain than before. Still, what Newcastle really needs is a button to disable his Ultimate locking on to his teammates. Other than that, he’s in a really good and a good Newcastle is far superior to a good Gibby.
Mangos- I'd like to see different lists for pubs and ranked. I feel like there has and always will be a huge difference between the two. I'm a crypto main and I agree he's pretty bad in Trios but if you're going for placement in ranked he's great, probably A-tier. Just one example but there are others (Vantage, Lifeline, Newcastle)
rampart is so criminally underrated man. people don't realize how useful sheila and the amped covers are even outside of direct combat. she can just instantly negate like half the abilities in the game just by shooting them or blocking them with walls. using sheila to counter horizon ult, conduit ult, crypto drone, evac towers etc. using amped covers to block bangalore ult, caustic ult, grenades, doors etc. and on top of all that you and your team get a 20% damage buff for shooting through them lol. she's cracked! but keep sleeping on her though cause I don't want her getting nerfed

Newcastle is atleast B-tier to A-tier his ability to claim spaces with his ult really puts the power to his kit. But if you use his ult to escape people (like how you did in the clip) ofc he's going to be in c-tier
Solid B-tier. Definitely not C-tier nor A-tier. The key is to have someone who can play Newcastle really well, and it takes quite a bit of experience to get really good with him.
I think he’s definitly a tier bc his whole kit is very good. He has the best revive ability and you can almost always get the revive off. His shield is very useful if you just need a bit of extra cover and his ultimate is great at giving you cover in an open area and can turn a bad situation around.
@Gunnar420 But his ability is still predicated on having one of your teammates knocked down. It helps, sure, but abilities that actually help your team win a fight without either of you getting knocked will always be better.

Rampart is B minimum but has to be played with a team.
She an insane amount of things she can do with her walls.
She can use them to block doors like cat, and vaporize anyone on the other side with Sheila
She has the best area control in the game IN side and OUT being able to plant five walls and to replenish them fast.
SHEILA deals the most amount of damage in the game within a 10 second span. Holding the trigger down wipes teams in a second if used right.
You said shoot through her walls but let's say you meet a team randomly in an open field you just Spam plant three of them and one of the walls goes up when they finish their clip and by that time you're mowing them down with Sheila
Endless use I don't think comp has fully explored her full potential

I’m happy I dont see a lot of ramparts, because in masters and pred lobby’s I fucking hate going against them, they take the fun out of apex imo.

The idea is that her sniper is so incredibly scary you need to be warned of it, unfortunately it's not That good😅. Realistically speaking the Kraber should be the sniper with a laser sight warning opponents
If they remove the laser it would be too good, you don’t have enough reaction time you will easily be getting 2 shotted
Maggie really only needs a bounce path for her ult and to be able to hold it and cancel it if the player chooses
The change in how easy it is to get digi threats definitely doesn’t work against Bangalore as a meta legend. In my experience, the digi threat was/is used to counter her more than make her more powerful. She got debuffed, but the change in digi threat drops buffs her usefulness for sure

For vantage if we can get a buff for the tactical range(so we can push fights after damaging more easily) all the issues will be fixed and for an additional buff they could either make the laser harder to see or invisible or imop it should only be visible when you shoot for like 1-2 seconds and you wont see the damage arrow.
You shouldn't be able to see her beam unless she's actually aiming in your direction. Similar to scope glint from cod.
or just make it easier too send the bat to the limit of the jump

I think your tier list really underrates high-skill/high-ceiling picks like Crypto and Newcastle (both easily A tier in hands of decent player, and S if played as a main), and overhypes easy/aggressive assault legends.
Not an Ash main but I've never had any problems with her... She was always got me out of stick situations. Very fun

Good vid but rampart needs to be higher I think A tier easily simply because the L-star is amazing and is gonna be meta, and her passive makes the L-star that much better so for that reason she’s gotta be A tier for me.
I think Seer is going to climb back up into Meta for higher tier ranked to cancel out Conduit’s healing abilities for fights.

Proposed buffs:
Ballistic: When activating his ultimate, all his guns are reloaded instantly.
Ash: Let ash free aim with her ultimate instead of looking for a surface indicator. Add a button to stop the phase tear where Ash deems it similar to Wraith.
Wattson & Octane: Knocking an enemy triggers their (still slow) shield/health regeneration instantly.
Crypto: Let his drone be able to use the other class abilities. (Ring consoles, assault & support bins, scanning care packages.) EMP on hit disables enemy HUD for 15 seconds except the health bar, and gives him slightly extra damage (5%) to enemy shields under the emp effect.
Rampart: Rampart has her splatter rounds on her weapons.
Would the splatter rounds do more damage or just make her more fun?

im genuinely curious what can be done about pathfinders hitbox being so big? ive mained him since season 0 and besides him not having a passive for like 2 heckin years, hes been absolutely amazing. also that 30 second cooldown for the grapple that we had for a bit totally sucked

I feel a really good way to balance vantage would be to have the laser from the sniper be off until you hit someone, to give the sniper feel with stealth and then it revealing

Horizon is in the same place for me. More often than not im using her Q to reposition/heal anyway and its just so useful in so many other ways like getting high ground, holding doorways, getting out of gas/smoke and getting away from the ridiculous range on bangs ult. Still S tier IMO.
They should do away with the beam on Vantage ult, I've always thought it was silly that her ult gives her position away like that.
I'd love for fuse's clusters to be reworked somehow, at least to not dmg him...nothing worse than a teammate walking in front of you right as you shoot one.🤦♂️
I have to say as a new player the only legend I really really enjoy playing is Rampart. She’s fun, she makes being aggressive more fun, she has the funniest voice lines, and who doesn’t live the Minigun.
I am still learning tho and am a noob. Rampart has a lot of things o still have to learn like when to place and pick up walls, for example. I definitely think she is an insanely fun legend to play especially since my buddy who plays with me plays catalyst and the two really pair well together near end game!

I main seer and loba, seer I mainly use his passive to find enemies and just tag them for the team.
I have to say Mangos is really the only Apex gamer I watch anymore and that’s because he has valid points on the game when he does ratings. This season I had fun at the start but I haven’t touched the game other than 1 game during the current LTM. Hoping to see more content soon!

Wattson is D tier in pubs, she shines mostly in ranked final rounds. But i think she needs a buff, i think they need to kinda rework movement abilities, because all new legends seem to have those.
I'd say for example she and teamm8s get speed buff when in generator radius, so she'd have her niche in which she can outplay, and obvious counter. Also id buff or even change fences to be more "dynamic" but here i have no idea how it would work.
But i gotta say as Wattson main, i'd say her generator is underrated. I use it as it is tactical ability, put it WHEREVER i fight or even when im just popping a cell. Generator shield regen won me a lot of fights.
i just could write essay about her generator as it seems to be her most valuable piece of kit. But fences need a buff or even a rework.
Would do anything for a fence rework, or at the very least fix the Jank.
That said, Would be cool to see a movement speed boost every time teammates cross a fence to reward and encourage playing around it 😅

Fellow Wattson main, her generator is her best feature! I played a game last night on Olympus and we won thanks to my generator saving our asses! Enemy team had a fuse bang and Gibby with lots of grenades. My generation ate all their grendaes and últs lamo it was amazing!
The problem with vantage's ult is that it can get you kills but can't win you games. Having no passive or ult in end game with a huge hitbox feels bad.
Maybe it should have a weaker close quarters version of it where she takes the barrel and scope off and shoots 2 round burst, like a lot of the guns have a secondary fire mode
Or maybe her bat can harrass people in the last ring but you can't jump to it while it's doing its thing and if it gets shot it goes back into cooldown. lol

Yeah but you can shoot through knockdown shields with Vantages Ultimate. Great for finishing long range
I was playing bang and had a crypto and loba and we won 3 ranked matches in a row and were placing high every other game
I am Mad Maggie main, but I hate her ulti. I don't see a point in it, except in some extra-ordinary situations when we need to go fast. Or it can stun some enemies, I use it sometimes in houses it can help to win a fight and that's all. All in all very poor ultimate.
As Ash main i'm so sad to see how Ash falling into the bottom without an actually nerfs, just because of improving other legends.
Vantages passive is so OP. In Ranked during early to mid game it boosts my decision making as an IGL by a lot. You can straight up see through leaves, thermites, the outer edge of Bang smoke, Horizon ult, dust, etc.
Her hitbox is awful though 😅
Ult is quite situational, but I like the buff some are suggesting here: give her back 25%/50% (Body/Head) of one Bullet cooldown for every hit.
Tactical is decent but needs some practice so you don't get beamed mid air.

Okay, I will acknowledge that I’m not great at the game but I play with my little brother who is somewhat worse than I am and conduit’s self healing feels awesome if you use it to help you take multi person fights. It lets you heal so quickly and that is super strong
With vantage ult u need teammates that know how to team fire her ultimate is so good u just need to know how to take those shots
Can I ask why caustic over wattson? Like if I'm a good wattson isn't that better than a good caustic? Like when you're super fast with pylons?
No characters are bad in Apex Legends, your teammates are.
As an octane and ash main (this is mostly about ash) I believe that sometimes ash is underwhelming but if you train with the stunning it has helped me in rank I don't totally disagree with the ranking but I do think seer might be worse he needs a reborn now 😊
Dang all my mains are low Valk, Newcastle, and Ballistic took a season off but not sure which one to run this season
They all provide their own unique aspects, rotating the 3 of them would keep it fresh!
Is it just me or does ballistics smart bullet never actually hit anybody since the new season dropped. I played like 10 games since the season came out and every time I get into a fight it completely misses unlike last season. Where it never missed. Somebody let me know if they have the same experience or if I'm just bad

The respawn with same shield level is definitely broken and already being abused. But it definitely raises crypto to A tier in my opinion

Love your content, I can definitely see you have a lot of knowledge about the game. Having that said I do feel like some of your tier lists are dependent on who you feel is the most fun to use rather than who has the most value to the team
If you look at pick rates, you can see the legends who are the most fun to play have the highest rates. Octane, Path etc. Fun absolutely plays into rankings but it's not everything. Not at all. That's why certain legends despite a high pick rate aren't rated high. Lots of players just play apex to have fun, where some actually sweat it out. I try to cover all kinds of players

@@zerocellz955well In your case loba is more noob friendly because your going to want as good of loot as you can get being that your new. You also get the mobility from your tactical which can get you out of a sticky situation. That's my opinion I think In your case loba is the best option while catalyst is for people more familiar with her play style

While I think that no tier list can ever be truly objective, I think that this Tier list veers too far into subjectivity, based on the factors on which you are grading everyone, which seems to be combat-oriented, and, in some sense, solo-combat oriented. Now I know I am biased, but as a Wattson main, I know that her strengths are not in hard, sweaty, pushing combat scenarios; her value is intrinsically tied to positioning and teammate cohesion. Wattson to her team is like Hammerpoints to a Mozambique, or a Turbocharger to a Havoc. If you have a bad team, or bad positioning, Wattson becomes much less useful, in the same way that a Turbocharger is not very useful without a Devo or Havoc equipped. However, if you have a solid team and good positioning, Wattson's utility skyrockets. Because this is a team game, with a ton of mechanics, grading legend utility needs to be done with a multi-factor analysis, and while Apex is combat focused, I think this Tier list weighs pure combat ability a bit too heavily -- essentially, I would re-weigh all the factors that you are considering.
We see a lot of sweats, pros, or TTVs play these hyper-aggressive characters like Horizon or Wraith, and we see them using these crazy movement abilities and wiping out lobbies, and while those Legends are more likely to support an aggressive playstyle, it's not fair to grade other legends with the same metric.
That being said, I do think that some legends are better than others, both in terms of single metrics (such as aggressive ability, or movement, or lockdown ability), and across multiple metrics (the idea of "more bang for your buck").
Let’s be honest, Bangalore is in S Tier and is picked in ALGS because Bloodhound was toned down and Seer was nerfed into the ground. Both were necessary changes, but without recon characters to see through the smoke, you can’t counter it. As long as Bloodhound and Seer are out of the meta, Bangalore will be S-Tier.

Vantage is Stier especially BC of the buff from her ultimate her tact is busted if u cancel it at the right time and with 6 shots she can drop a 3 stack and if u quickscope ppl don't see the laser conduit is my main BC she's absolutely broken then vantage and Maggie for that reason

I'm a Loba main and I got to say I wasn't expecting to see her on the S tier because for a support legend she doesn't offer much help to her team aside from loot. Not complaining though 😂
Rampart and Wattson are both A tier. They have very high pick rates in ALGS
As a rampart main I think shes a B +. D tier is way to low for her and same thing for Wattson. Both of their alts are easily A+.

pathfinder might have a large hit box, but he is much harder to headshot. So you rarely get downed quickly by that.
