Franz can reload before the animal even stops tumbling! Impressive. Also impressive is how evolved the Aim Point sights have come. I was using one that was a lot bigger on my Ruger Redhawk .44 Magnum pistol, back in the late 80's! Just locating 30mm mounting rings for that pistol was a major ordeal!

That is how hunting should be. A clean kill by very experienced hunters. The young man is on another level. His reload is the fastest I have ever seen. It is a joy to watch.

What’s the range of those shots towards the beginning of the video? 100 yards? Trying to make my mind up on which model to get from Aimpoint: hunter 34L or H2 Micro. Wanting something to handle closeup and out to 250 yards.

He is shooting a Sauer 202 with a custom made shaft, modified bolt (a bit longer with a bigger ball at the end) and muscle brake.

franz uses usually .270 win, custom magazine with 10 or 11 shots i believe, in this film he shoots a merkel helix, normally he uses a sauer 404 in .270 win
