No wonder he doesn't make cooking videos every day, or even every week. He prepared them painstakingly. Takes a lot of time and effort. Not to mention all the editing. Awesome! ☺
Yesss, just a few minutes of shooting can take hours 😓
and also if he doesn't have a team (doesn't seem to have one right now) things would be worked out really slowly.
agreed if you want quality it has to be done right and you need to put your love and passion into it. A 30min dish takes me 4hrs to shoot and few days to edit .
True. I also cook and made a video from it. And it's really not easy and my hands are getting very dry from washing. Because i need to wash my hands before touching my camera and before touching food... And i dont have many tripods like him.
@@DeeinGermany Every, single.time haha. Keep at it, we shall prevail!
When he opened up his camera locker, all I saw was camera gear at the value of a house deposit. Has every top shelf lens on the market, WOW!
Right! Must be nice!
That caught my eye too🥰
I thought it was a mini fridge! 🤣
Let's not forget that high end material which is pricy is not reflective of the quality of the work.. A good camera doesn't mean a good video caster or photographer But a good photographer will do good with anything!
The fact that the end result looks so effortless proves the level of work that goes into making it.
This is really helpful. Plus Your patience is incredible.
I'm so proud of you Ryoya, you set your goals and follow them. You're really someone I look up to. And by the way, your English is not as bad as you made it sound to be. I'm all here to watch your growth in confidently producing English videos. Love you, from one human being to another.
i think you pronounce good

I remember messaging you on one of your IG stories asking you to show us what happens behind the scenes and I'm glad we finally got to see it! For one person to do the directing, filming, editing, not to mention the cooking; you are just so amazing!
I can see how passionate you are with your craft and that's the reason why I love all of your videos.
Thank you. :)
How many cameras and mic do you have to use when you're taking video on food photography.

I just really appreciate the time and effort you put into all of your videos. Visually pleasing and you could see your style copied everywhere! Thank you man don’t ever stop!
Am I the only one who is interested in his home? It looks like it's 4 levels!
Ditto - It's pretty fab. Not a wife, child or dog in sight.
Jaja same
no i was with you bro.
The locker and the house had my attention
And don’t forget his futuristic fans
Yeah, really curious what to search for to find a place like this.
Hi Ryoya. What tripod are you using ? Link please. Thanks !
I always knew how much work has to go into running a CZcams channel but just watching you work briefly is just amazing and reminds how much I really appreciate that people like you do this for us ❤️
So he is peaceful off-screen too..
I would've lost my mind till this point..
It’s amazing to hear Ryoya’s English accent smooth out over the years. Now, it is so good.
7:16 he judges himself so hard even though that latte art is so freakin good lol

I feel like I’m watching something I shouldn’t be, like I’m learning too many of Ryoya’s secrets!! 😅 super cool to see the behind the scenes tho, thank you!!
Thank you Ryoya! Awesome stuff! love vibe!
Oh my God! I never imagined this much hard work goes into cooking videos!
I feel like you are genuinely passionate about what you do and it makes your content 10 times better! Continue you hard work, only great things ahead :D
That is so much work you put into making videos for us to enjoy. Thank you for all of your hard work. These videos mean so much to a lot of us.
Even the vlogs are peaceful ❤️❤️❤️ ! Love it!
I'm impressed how fast you share your vlogs. I know it takes so much work to plan content, film, edit, put subtitles, etc. Add to that, you're so productive on other thing too -- like timeboxing piano, cello and English practice. 😄 Mad discipline!
Thank you for sharing this behind the scenes, I’m amazed at how much work you put into your videos!
Great settings. Love your studio/kitchen. So neat.
Thanks for showing us all the behind the scene on what it takes to create a video as a self content creator! It''s a lot of prep work, camera setup and editing. Much respect to you 🙏
Seeing Ryoya san having to do retakes feels so surreal bc your videos always seem so perfect xD its a nice change to see the behind the scenes!! Thank you Ryoya san!!
Such great tips!! love this!
I love your videos and been watching them since you started your channel. I always feel relaxed watching your cooking! It's good to get a glimpse behind the scenes to see how much work it actually is!
love, love, love these behind-the-scenes vlogs. i'm one of those who can't stand ASMR so this is my jam.
yes yes i love this kind of content. good job Ryoya-sensei !!
It's so exciting to see your videos!
Indirectly we're learning the Japanese Language from you too. Every time you speak in Japanese first, I try to understand what you were trying to say and sometimes when I understood before you speak in English it makes me very happy.
It’s amazing to see your process taking place, much love from the UK!
INCREDIBLE Ryoya. Mad respect after watching this video. Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
I've always been curious about how you're making all your amazing videos. Thanks for giving us a glimpse! 😍
In loveeee with all his kitchen tools and camera equipment.
“I’m trying not to work so hard” I love to hear it!!!
Please dont ever stop making videos. Your quality & attention to details is impressive.
You haven't just taken cuisine to a fine art but also your videoing and editing, love your work
I think you're one of the best youtuber in the world, really... you always bring something cool to watch and it's always a pleasure to learn from you!! Thanks :D
This was cool. It was interesting to see your process behind the scenes and it gave me a further appreciation of how much work goes into these videos. Keep up the exceptional work!
Wow you’re such a perfectionist! I love your cooking videos they’re such great inspiration for many other youtubers like myself!
Thank you Ryoya, this gives me motivation and energy to keep creating my own videos as well. You're such an inspiration! I'm still far away from making such quality but thank you for this video!
oh, i love this passionate guy, and his precious laugh!
i'm loving these vlogs!
Beautiful work Ryoya Takashima 😎
Hands down to you Ryoya.. making coffee takes a lifetime. And your videos are the best. ❤️❤️❤️
i love these vlogs so much, its great hearing your english but i also enjoy when you talk japanese :)
The worst scenario: me setting up camera, cutting all ingredients, cooking done... Damn! Forgot to press that start button!
lol same here.
Hahahaha same here💔
Lindsay He haha 😂 quite disappointing if you find out, you didn’t film 🎥anything
🤣🤣🤣
😉😉😉😒😒😒
thank you so much Ryoya! Very useful video
The thumbnail turned out great for your Chocolate- covered coffee beans. Thanks for the behind-the-scenes look at your video and photography-taking process.
It’s so admirable the way you seem so passionate about your hobbies!
Thank you so much for posting this! Cooking videos are hard to shoot and even the simplest of things like opening a cap can take several attempts to get the perfect shot. I'm so glad you did not edit that out. This was amazing.
I'm from Los Angeles, love your videos. I just wanted to say your English is getting really good!
That was fun to watch and the footage looked incredible!
I love your coffee set up!
👍😍Wow! That’s a lot of work. I have so much appreciation for what you do. @8:33 I love those little Ball jars, I have severa and they really come in handy. Thanks for sharing your set up and your amazing cooking videos.🤗💞🤗
I've got serious camera and kitchen envy! That was really interesting seeing the behind the scenes.
I'm glad to see this video. Thank you so much for sharing your shooting technique.
I love your videos! Welcome back! 🤩
中判カメラにまで踏み込んだりゃうやさんには設備もかないませんが、撮影時のあたふたやタイミングのズレや異音でのNGなど痛いほど共感出来る動画でした(笑)やはり時間と手間は惜しんではあきませんね(^^;;
This was so interesting to watch your process! Inspiring to see how you create your work 😊
Oh my Gosh I couldn't stop laughing as you did the opening of the jar so many times 😂😂😂 this is literally so much work. But bless you for doing it anyway cause these videos are the best!!!!!!
Amazing RYOYA TAKASHIMA
Thanks for showing us what it's like on the other side of the camera. Also your English is very good. Thanks for translating too.
As a photographer, I already knew you put in tons of work based on the high quality videos you provided but after watching this video, I think I haven’t give you enough credit. You’re amazing. Hope to see more contents related to BTS cinematography from your channel.
This is the third time I watch your video since you published it. Awesome dude.
Amazing to see such effort in every single scene, inspired me to start my own cooking channel!
Dude, I love the hard work
P
Thank you for sharing this!!! Really really appreciate it. You’ve worked so hard. Great job!
Thank you for the video. I kept coming back here and study how you film 💜
This living space Ryoya has set up for himself, my god it is magnificent. I wish I could emulate it but my interior design skills are not so good and my wife has some aesthetic disagreements with me lol
Hi Ryoya-san! I really enjoyed watching your content for a few years now, and since you wanted to vlog more this year, i was wondering if a house tour is in the planning? Your house looks so amazing and i love how you have a lot of natural light source, so it would be cool to see it in a vlog one day!
the effort and dedication
I love it... you are so talented! I really relate to the difficulties of shooting alone, especially when you're a perfectionist. When you recorded and then retook the shot of opening the jar, I totally understood that!
I lived in Tokyo for few years and I am happy I still can understand some of your Japanese
This was an amazing setup. Your very meticulous with your shots! Love it!
Very details, love it ❤️
Greetings from Malaysia. I'm so delighted to have come across your videos. Immediately subscribed. Keep it up!
Loved this video!! It was extremely well edited
A true artist and perfectionist !
Lovely videos! I enjoyed watching both, the process and final one. So relaxing. Thanks for sharing this point of view. Can I ask you about your tripod?? Was expecting to find it on the equipment section; seems soooo useful.
I've watched this so many times. I would love to see more tutorial style videos from you. Your videos always look so good!!
Interesting! I’ll be following all your videos from now on. Thanks for sharing.
This man has a whole collection of expensive cameras and lenses in what looks like a mini refridgerator lol.
G HXTCH keeps them dry most likely as humidity can cause fungus in lenses.
Dehumidifier
This..is...WOWW!! 😍💓😊
This is awesome, there’s so many details on your video that I like to lern it i’m so grateful and excited for this!!
Thank you 😊
i love your videos and love when you show that process!
Amazing artist, very inspiring for my cooking channel, greetings from Italy, best!
This is some awesome level dedication.
Hats off💙💙💙💙💙
I always love your videos 😻
0:01 is that Vietnamese beans that im seeing? If it is, awesome!!! Hi Ryoya, I just got a small question that I really hope you can help me out. Im also using a Rode videomic pro plus on my camera, but somehow the sound I got is as great as yours. May I ask what is the set up with the mic you are using? Do you do any audio post production later? Thank you so much! Your works really inspired me!
