Love the video, however there are two parking lots, public one at $8(?) a day, and the one with the playground with the MICA sign (on corner of Collier) is for residents only, photo ID.
The tip of the island was a misleading tracking station in the 50s…..no they don’t rent chairs on the beach ….don’t miss the esplanade …bars and restaurants on the water ….
@@carpediemearth Not as clear as Siesta Key or AMI, but I wouldn’t say the water was murky. The shells make the water a little cloudier, but still a beautiful place to visit.
I hope that kid chasing the snake had parents close by who yelled at him to get away from it. He sure was close and seemed careless about the possibility of that snake being poisonous!
This was early in the day and I try not to get shots of people swimming, etc. I was even hesitant to post the footage of the boy chasing the snake, but that was too entertaining. The beach was packed later on with plenty of kids!
You had a really nice video going, until you put down “walking through that muck.” Really? In 2021, you can’t understand that that is a natural ecosystem that supports many local plants and animals? And that we are the guests? You seem intelligent and well-intentioned. Please be careful and selective with you words when describing these treasured places.
Thank you for the response. Agreed! Unfortunately, human interaction, particularly pollution, creates the destruction of ecosystems. You raise a better point regarding the protection of ecosystems.
Nice I’m going there in sixteen days I am so excited!!!
Looks good 👍 😊
Im going in july .cant wait .

So it’s only $8 one time a day for parking? I was given the impression you had to pay multiple times a day if you leave and come back.
Tigertail has an attendant who will give you a receipt for same day use at any Collier County beach.
@@JuliaLives1111 thank you so much! We are headed down next weekend and tigertail is actually closest to the house we've rented so sounds perfect!
Great video! You're really beautiful too.

Great advice--thank you!
I thought Marco Island beaches had white powdery sand and translucent water like Siesta Key
Marco Island is beautiful, but the sand is not powdery like Siesta Key. Great place for looking at shells, but feels like stepping on a Lego:)
@@JuliaLives1111 Thanks. Are the waters clear or murky?

His dad was right next to him, but seemed unbothered.
@@JuliaLives1111 Oh brother!!!
What a sad Beach. No kids swimming in the ocean.
