- Savor three miles of walking down the Gulf coast of Marco Island. Soft sands, beautifully clear water, and amazing bird watching! We saw SO MANY pelicans diving it was amazing! Even while swimming, they will dive to fish within 15 feet of you. It's a truly magical experience.
On our walk we will pass all the big resorts with Gulf views: JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, Eagle's Nest Beach Resort, Club Regency of Marco Island, The Surf Club of Marco Resort, Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa, Marriott's Crystal Shores, The Charter Club of Marco Beach, and more!
This 4K beach video uses binaural audio. Surround sound or headphones are recommended for a fully immersive beach experience.
"Located on Marco Island, Tigertail Beach offers the public everything from natural resources to beachside amenities that make your visit a rewarding one. Tigertail Beach offers a bath house, five boardwalks leading from the mangrove lined parking area to the white, sandy beach. As you are standing on the beach looking over the Gulf of Mexico, you will see sand Dollar Island. This area is a nesting area for many birds, some that are threatened species. The Least Terns and Black Skimmers nest here in the spring along with various species of Sandpipers. The tidal bay between Tigertail Beach and Sand Dollar Island is generally an area where a variety of birds feed. We see Herons, Egrets, ibis and Many kinds of Terns, Sandpipers, plovers and Gulls. You may even see birds of prey such as the Osprey, gliding overhead.
A trip to Tigertail is not complete without a stroll along the beach for shells and other beach items. Collection of live shells is not permitted within county parks, but should you walk the shorelines, you will find a variety of shells and maybe even a sand dollar." - cityofmarcoisland.com
I’m new to your channel and I just want to say thank you for these beautiful videos that you are posting. They sure are relaxing for sure!
Thank you for watching - glad you enjoy the videos!
Excellent video. Really enjoying your content, hopefully you hit Boca Grande soon.
Thanks for watching! I hope to get out soon to make more.
Nowhere near as beautiful water nor clarity as Palm Beach 🏖️
Thanks for watching! Hopefully I’ll get to Palm Beach one day. 🙂
"Let's skip to the pretty stuff" Indeed, lol. The Marriott there is a great resort!
LOL! The Marriott is a beautiful resort.
Just ran across your channel. And, I want to THANK YOU for a wonderful walk down the crescent beach of Marco Island. I've been going there since 2009 and I've only stayed at the South Sea's Northwest Condo's. Those are the very first two buildings you walked past as you got onto the beach at Tiger Tail. We LOVE the views from the north end and ALWAYS walk to the north, where it is much quieter and we can search for more shells. In 2017 we finally made the north walk all the way to the tip. We tried to walk southward, but only got about 3/4 mi. It gets so busy that direction. I've always wondered what a walk to the south would be like. Especially all the way to the end, as you took us!! It was awesome. Yes, the beach and water are usually beautiful. Our last trip, Oct 3-10, 2019 was not as pleasant. Red Tide came to visit and dead fish were everywhere for 3-4 days. Not good for walking!! Thank you for sharing. I will now watch all of your beach walks on other beaches as well.
Thank you for watching! This Marco walk was probably one of my favorites so far. The sand is wonderful and the vistas are simply stunning. So glad that red tide hasn’t been an issue as of late.
Those pelicans are no joke!
We really enjoyed that experience!
It's official, you are my favorite CZcamsr. I love the Hilton Marco Island and the Snook Inn
Wow! Thank you for watching! I’m glad you’re enjoying.
Great channel. You have my support! Greetings from Germany!
Thank you very much!
Wrong direction. North to the tip is where the beauty of Tigertail Beach is.
I'll be sure to check that out next time. Thanks for watching!
Hope you love RED TIDE and dead fish washing up on the beaches.
Thankfully there was no red tide when I filmed. The air and water were both clear and beautiful. Thanks for watching!
They’ve invested a lot of money to prevent it
