E39 Touring glass rear window lid tailgate stuck broken. Cannot open

  • relay bypass helped.
    connect 3 and 5 pins
    relay 6136 1393412
    wanted to add rear camera to android head unit.
    as usual - chain reaction of problems happened

    Thanks for the video! It showed me what can be done when the button is broken, and also how the lock looks. For me there is still a challenge. My window is stuck too, but the button seems to work, as I can hear that familiar solenoid (?) sound you have in your video too. Its just not working good enough, it does not sound "healthy". It also fades after several presses, as if a condensor is loosing its energy.

    Thank you for the video man! It appeared to be some severed wires in the left hinge. Had to solder them and it worked again.
    Also, do you think it would be possible to somehow wire up the relays so that the button on the keyfob would open the glass instead of the whole catch?

    How did you replace the button switch? Mine is seized on the window.

      relay was ok. i ve replaced faulty button. works great.
