I just went through the same thing sick-wise. I had just come off an allergy attack and I think a sinus infection, and then BOOM the seasons changed and it was acting like a cold. Never ran a fever, so not viral. The key for me was antihistamines, sudafed (or whatever decongestant works for you), and ibuprofen. Ibuprofen calms down the inflammation and allows the ish to drain, the decongestant helps it not overrun you, and the antihistamine keeps you from inflaming again. I hope that helps you knock it.
