Even though I’ve always been a huge Linkin Park fan, I never realized how important their music was for young people going through hard times until I re-listened to their lyrics as an adult. I hope my covers can also be an outlet for people who need to hear words of encouragement or escape from their problems for a little while. Here is one of my favorites, "Numb". Enjoy!

You sing so naturally, it looks like you don’t even have to put any effort into this and it seems like the easiest thing in the world. I love your covers and the whole band is just amazing!
Ezrahadon she sings with no feeling. Of course it is so easy. But its sounds like crap! Chester has put in all of his songs his power and his feelings. And you hear it. But she sings with methods from the book with out experience.

@@syntplex - Chester's over-emotive scream/sing style was a necessity for the fact that he didn't really have a good voice. Nasally, limited range, etc. It worked well for what it was - edgelord rock... but don't confuse poor technique with emotion, much less use your complete lack of knowledge to try and put down a trained singer who's doing a cover of them.

Nearly 11 months later and Chester's loss, particularly thinking about it with this song, still makes me cry my eyes out. Thanks Robyn and the band, this rendition is incredible.

This was one of my all time favorites of Linkin Park's and I never thought I'd hear a better version than the original, but this is right up there with it. You were amazing, but so were the musicians, especially that violinist. FANTASTIC!
Numb has always been one of my favorite Linkin Park songs (if not one of my fav. songs of anyone for that matter)... but your interpretation of it here, it's just haunting. Such a beautiful version, I love it. I have rewatched this video 3 times now...

If anyone is ever going to do a cover, especially of a fairly recently deceased artist, it has to be done perfectly and with utmost respect and I feel like this absolutely nails it. It captures the raw emotion from the original song but lightens the sound so it’s not as rough and heavy and damn near made me cry. Love all the work you do! Definitely keep it up!

I may be a bit biased but there are somethings in many linkin park songs that don't sound the same without the power in Chester's vocals. Don't get me wrong the song alone is fantastic, but you made a cover of a song from one of my favorite bands of all time. So I can't not compare it to the original.
male homosapien then don't. If you're always comparing everything to the original versions you will never be happy with anything.
Let this be something new entirely.

There are a few points to the original I liked more. But overall? This is better IMO
I think that's the reason why there are so few Cover Versions of their Songs out there, Chester's uniqueness is missing. That's why it will be extremely hard to continue as LP with a New singer as many other great Bands already did after one of their members passed away
Amberlee Miller it’s a natural thing to do when you’ve heard the original dozens of times... ignorant thing to say. Also, when you know the history of the singer and how his music told stories of his past pain- this song has so much more meaning that not just anyone can replicate

I usually skip past covers on my favourite song. But... This time... Wow! You have made a grown man cry! Your voice is amazing!

This wasnt as successful a cover for me this time, the lyrics were sung at the same speed as the original and it seemed rushed, especially when you tried to sing two different parts as one part. The original has such an iconic beat and hook and it wasnt as apparent in this arrangement, it got lost. So yeah, niceish..pleasant enough.. but not one I'll remember as great.

Chesters version came from the heart. Luckily she is missing that feeling inside. It's a hard song to nail when it comes to that. Just doesn't feel right.
I honestly really liked this video and the performance given by everyone.
Personally, I think that the song could have handled a less restrained vocal performance. It lacked a bit of that gritty power that Chester's vocals leant the original.
And the pickiest tiny thing ever, "Caught in the undertow" would have been better coming from a second vocalist. It felt out of place here.
