I can’t even stay in the air for 10s without some A-hole locking onto me, I set my flairs off and still managed to get shot down. Weather I’m in a heli or jet it feels like everyone has got damn stingers on me.

It takes skill to fly well on GTA.
It takes some skill to fly in GTA as well. I will speak from experience since I've been flying jets since day one that dogfighting is what requires skill. If you don't know how to dogfight, you may as well leave the session as soon as a skilled player joins.

Love the hired man just standing beside the Base AA all the round spotting any jet that comes following beside you. Good technique no doubt. But it's kinda assy to be that player. Just killing everyone spawning in trying to kill you but fails so hard cause of a literally invincible shield at the base lol. Anyways good video.

I've pretty much mastered the planes in bf1 and bf5 but the modern jets are so difficult to control I'm still trash at jets til this day.
How demoralizing it must have been for the enemy players to be looking up with stingers half the time and getting a JDAM put on their forehead EVERY damn time you get close. Rage mode right there. You're way too good in that thing.
The one thing you learn from this is that boats are OP as fuck. Can take a complete A-10 strafe, every round hitting, and a JDAM directly on top of it, and all you get is "vehicle disabled". Of all the things they should've fucking nerfed the shit out of in this game was the attack boats.

If only BF5 used the same UI, never able to get a plane to shoot down those pesky 109’s cause the plan icon never pops up and is broken half the time.
Although his multi tasking was just really on point. It really feels like shooting fish in a barrel. Those boats most times were just players trying to travel to the actual map. They were just driver kills mostly who are mostly defenseless.
The sad part? Despite the fact that several squads of players were trying to destroy the jet with stingers the only tool they have, they couldn’t even get him once.
I understand the crazy amount of skill required to do what he does but even they best pilots shouldn’t be going 91-0. A jet should be something that gives you a positive trade off like 10 kills per life if you are average.
20 kills per life if you are good.
They should have armor that depletes to zero. Should take like 5 rockets then dies. You still get counter measures just that your jet has a armor that doesn’t regenerate. That would make it so that you can be overpowered for a moment only. Then another can get the jet or you can wait for the respawn which happens so quickly anyways.
I love the idea that helicopters get repairs from teammates that’s why the little bird is fine. It’s much more up close easier to take out and a kill on a little bird gets a more than one kill if you have a repairman. I play the horse in battlefield 1 and that thing effectively gives me way too many kills per life. And even when I get zero kills and have everyone focusing on killing me my teammates appreciate the distraction, the reveal of enemy positions by them firing, the lack of collateral damage from tank shells and building destruction, the pause in enemy push to points, the vulnerability of enemies chasing me for kills, the usage of infantry explosives on me rather than on them, the turning around of tanks revealing their vulnerable areas, the complete obliteration of snipers the list goes on.
It’s worse with a jet you can’t kill a jet zooming at Mach speed waiting for countermeasures to recharge to engage. You have to actively search for an aircraft.
itzkevino go watch a Jdam compilation, you do know that real jets are even MORE effective than they are in the game right? If we’re gonna go the realism route one stray 30mm would turn infantry into paste in addition to the aircraft being able to attack from higher above negating locks.
Sniping a pilot out of the cockpit? Shits bulletproof in real life. AP? You’re not deflecting 30mm rounds being hurled at you at 70 rounds per second. You think this is bad there was no AP in Bf3. All it takes is one mediocre stealth pilot to kill virtually any attack jet regardless of skill because it turns faster. In the olden days if your team didn’t have a better dogfighter GG.
I’ve bumped into Falcon on pub before and although I can’t outfrag him I can take him in a dogfight. Then there’s the competitive dogfighters who I can’t even damage in a dogfight despite several years of flying. Next proper battlefield all these pilots are going to come out of retirement and then you’ll see true suffering.

Idk why people complain at all. he’s an incredible pilot in bf4, and being decent in planes is an achievement in itself considering the relatively steep skill curve. Also, it doesn’t matter whether he plays core or not. I am personally a hardcore pilot, only because I’m good in first person, everyone has their niche. Either way, great flying.

My vehicle sensitivity is 100. You should try when you take the jets. You can change “jet chase camera roll” from option on or off.

+Dee Gee It took me over 50 hours on jet... If you practice in the good way you can be a great player.
Nice man. I play PS4 too, you're a beast in the Jet, probably best of I've seen. It's the only part of the game I'm having trouble mastering, I'm terrible at them lol.
Dee Gee If I could recommend a tip from someone learning right now and doing very good in only 6 hours in game time with jets, always slow your decent, makes strafing runs easier and allows you to get the best speed to drop a jdam.
2.) Dont accelerate, your jet goes really fast on it’s own, so only do it to make that tight turn from other jets. Always decelerate going down or during a turn; the turns you will have to find the right time do, so practice that a lot.
3.) get as close as you can to a target before a jdam, shortens how long they take to reach their target and you will have a higher chance to hit them as the area you marked moves along with your get.
Those are tips I pretty much already knew. I'm pretty decent at straffing and bombing runs. I struggled at out flying the other jet pilots. I can't seem to out maneuver them and get on their tails, they always end up on mine. Any tips on winning the dog fights?
