That's hilarious, my son did the same thing. He wasn't a terribly late talker, but he started a bit like this, not to the same degree. His first words were a sentence, a simple one, "Eagle flies". When we asked him a bit later why he didn't talk for so long he said that he was practicing to himself before that, because he wanted to get it right.
