Nashville puts off the best 4th of July show each year hands down 2021 was the most insane fireworks I've ever seen , and it's always Nashville that sets off like 200,000$ worth of fireworks
They spend millions on fireworks alone.
Our small town spends $200,000. Try several million for Nashville.
Our Peoria, Illinois show spends 150,000ish. Our show holds nothing to this. At least 5x as much.
@Nathan Knipmeyer this is my company's pride and joy we spend a whole year planning it and over a week setting it all up, Nashville gets every penny's worth of those 30 minutes

Been there a few times on the 4th when I was stationed at Fort Campbell. I've lived a lot of places around the nation and I have never seen another 4th of July fireworks display that can compare to Nashville. Not in Los Angeles... Not in San Francisco... Not in Philly... And I've seen enough video to know NYC and DC doesn't also. It is amazing and that's exactly how a finale should go down with 40,000 lbs. worth of fireworks.
The flash bangs at the end "live" is better than a shiatsu message. Worth dealing with the crowds.
Yeah, none of the videos of the Nashville fireworks can replicate the vibration or the rumbling booms which are felt in your chest and back.

From my prospective on a pool deck, the fireworks were reflecting off the buildings.

Yes. I haven't been there since 2014 (I don't live there anymore), but from the times I've been there, it is always a spectacular show and I think I became spoiled to it, because I live in the SF Bay Area now, and I really don't care to see fireworks shows out here. It can't even come close to comparing. In fact, I've lived in many different cities across the nation from LA to Philly, and nothing compares to the Nashville fireworks show. And Nashville on the 4th of July is just awesome in general. They have a bunch of concerts all day, always in the same general area, and it's such a walkable town, that the bar scene is just phenomenal.

Hopefully not at the tax payer expense. If so this could have been used elsewhere for the betterment of the entire community. Infrastructure, raises for employees, upgrade to equipment ect.
Tax money to blow sh** up is better spent than some other things I can think of.
sponsors pay for this not the taxpayer, there's big names that put up the $ for this show every year like Nissan, Pepsi, Coca-Cola etc
This show has soooooo much sky puke in it its disgusting. It's not good. No artistic effort behind it.
Prefer this much more than the synchronized swimming of fireworks shows in NYC. This is loud, in your face, and insane. Artistic effort... GTFOH... 😆😆
