Beastmen getting a shadow dlc like they ambushed the units on their way to their actual factions is hilarious.
... Why does it fit?
@@VictoriousJia Yes, famously honourable beastmen, almost but not quite as honourable as skaven
@@joaogomes9405Skaven are just small rat beastmen, change my mind
@@VictoriousJia I wouldn't say that the faction known for pillaging, raiding, ambushing and genociding would be honorable IMO
@@revolverclassic8248 damn bro you hear that? Yeah, the sound of the joke flying so far over your head that it circled around the earth, hit you on the back of the head, and gave you a concussion?
"We see the Incarnate slapping through the Elite dwarf infantry" *Goblins flying*
Seeing that Gorebull bounce off the Iron Daemon, and the blood spurting as the train ran over him and then you zoom back out and they've traded the same amount of HP made me giggle
Two things that really stuck out:
1) Having no guns really screwed the Chorfs. A single blunderbuss or fireglaive unit would have done wonders against the minobus the Beastmen brought.
2) this game was a really interesting example of the effect that no real timers has on the players. If Hadres had seen a clock showing him he’d win on 1 point, he might have won by prioritizing setting the Helm’s Deep on his home objective.
That match was amazing!
I had no clue who was going to win the entire time
always beastmen lately :p
Gorebull getting knocked over, man, the eternal meme. The personification of Tubthumping by Chumbawamba. 90's throwbacks!
I love factions that really change the color scheme of the units. I never thought I'd see the day of green chorfs.
Man Traitor-Kin just seems so overpowered currently like i keep seeing it be practically the backbone of beastmen armies
I've heard a lot of people say it doesn't get nerfed cause the beastmen roster is weak-ish. Could change if they flesh it out more with new units though.
A beastman nerf would be a little insane, can't wait to see it next patch.@@u-mos8820
@@forrestmcgee7631 Hopefully with the eventual addition of Pestigors they can get a more solid frontline.
Khornegors might be good but they could also just be reskinned worstigors with only slightly better stats.
It would also be nice to see all of the divided gor units get a model reduction and increased stats to reflect their rarity in the setting.
@@forrestmcgee7631yeah i feel like beastmen need a boost to offensive stats across the board. but i dont play MP often enough to really know.
They sort of need it because even though Beastmen are a rush faction, their alpha strike isn't really that remarkable and their roster has little staying power.
Love the enthusiasm in Turin’s voice!! Thank you for casting it so passionately 🙂🙂
Hadres brought literally 0 anti large against an army filled with giant large monsters. Goblin spears do not count
for real, whenever I fight any faction as beastmen it’s always all spears cuz the beastmen infantry are so dogshit that only monsters have pushing power and you can counter all of them with anti-large
@@Tarico_Well said but they did get a fairly good frontline anvil unit in the form of tzangors. I think combined with some armor piercing they can be quite good.
Love that the cap weight is fixed so now we can see what chorfs can really do
Anyone else mad that the blasting charges didnt get thrown into the blop? Nice ki there
Every patch takes away a bit of the Chorf Cheese and we get to see them move closer to how they're actually intended to be played.
What a match! And that green color scheme is just perfect on the Chorfs *chefs kiss*
those blazing beards not geting their missile attacks off might have cost the game.
I do think it kinda sucks that Tzaangors make normal Gors irrelevant. I think they should be given some downside (maybe being slower due to the armor) to pick the undivided Gors.
Gors do more damage
I think normal gors should get Bonus Vs Inf, that'd make them more specialized as an infantry blender
@@fidelcashflow4940they already are infantry blenders, they just die a lot faster.
@@fidelcashflow4940 I imagine that role will be given to the Khornegors when they come out.
If they ever live to do it @@lolasdm6959
Beastmen benefitting so much from a dlc that shouldnt have anything to do with them is giggleworthy to me, Tzaangoors and the big Elemental boi work so well with them. Tho i gotta ask, is there ever a time when you'd bring a Ghorgon over the Elemental now? They both have big anti-large, but the elemental also has a mortis effect on top of more weapon strength.
From what we saw until now I am not that convinced with the big elemental, at least for the Beastmen. Sure it has a mortis engine, but a weak one. On the other side you have the Ghorgon with a big heal effect always powerful.
So in the end I think it mainly depend of what you need in your army, the elemental being a bit more polyvalent when the Ghorgon is more dedicated to fight big units.
@@MrMorvanaIf it ragdolls less than the Ghorgon it automatically will be better at everything.
Honestly I hope they keep it up with a few units each DLC. A random faction or two picking up a few shared units every time would steadily bolster every roster without requiring a DLC "slot" so to speak. I'm not in tune with the lore enough to point a lot out but the undead are an easy target.
@@NuclearNacho13 No, the undead are not. The different type of undeads are like water and oil. Everything is different, even the magic making them "alive".
They are even mortal enemies for very good reasons, to the point of making the conflict between dwarf and chaos dwarf look like a friendly dispute in comparison...
@@forrestmcgee7631 I didn't really think about the vampire coast, they are such a minor thing in the lore... Also for the overlap they are quite minor, especially because the dev wanted the two factions to have completly different gamestyle. With the same tools your risk to see the same armies.
For Arkan the black it's not clear because different sources are contradictory. For what I know and what the wiki says the canon is as follow: Arkan has nothing to do with vampires.
Wow I thought Hadres had a chance even up to the end.
Watched the ritual on your recommendation, was great!
I don't think I've ever seen Subutai lose a game before. Like anytime I see him I already know he's going to win.
I've posted several games of him losing in early access, cheers!
Ah yes, CAs latest product was "bugged" causing it to be stronger than "intended" 😉
I'm so glad they managed to "fix it" just in time for the release of their next product
I wonder what kind of "bugs" this new dlc will include.. Anyone found one yet?
Real
LOVE YOU TURIN!
Man ghorgon need a bit of a buff otherwise we will never see him picked over the incarnation, which would be shameful to say the least considering he is THE beastmen Monster while incarnation is shared with kislev
It's still got being the best anti large unit on the roster under its belt, right? That and its speed.
But also I've heard a few CZcamsrs saying the Incarnate Beasts Elemental Of could do with a cost increase.
@@aidanfurst8512 the Speed advantage of the ghorgon over the incarnation is negligible atm really and no, the damage of the former is simply much higher and costing less is wildly more cost effective. It gets you way more for you bucks. Incarnation need a nerf but ghorgon regardless need a buff or a tweak (like extra Speed) otherwise incarnation will always be better simply by being cheaper
@riccardocorradini6713 Also completely remove its knockdowns.
@animesuxxxx Doesn't even need to waver morale to trigger the mortism
@@forrestmcgee7631 yeah it's bonkers, but is also because ghorgon and jabber are not great atm. The game 3 changes for SE put a dump on them
Hurrray. This vid made me happy, as i try to fall asleep. Beastmen are gonna be awesome once they get the different Chaos Gor units.
"its so fun to see Chorfs not bringing a deathshriek for a change and trying new tactics"
meanwhile they lost because they didnt have a deathshriek. XD
The Sorcerer Prophets are still way too op for their cost. They're supposed to be weaker than a legendary hero not stronger.. I still find the chaos dorfs units are too strong.. their cannons are better at being cannons then other races, while being hard to kill, mobile, and then in some cases chariots as well... some tuning def needed.
4:41 😂😂
the green tide lol
12:40 called the win for the beastmen way too early, they didnt even have 2 objectives at this point
Big single entities seem to take a lot of damage this patch, has something changed?
The big kislev beast is relativly squishy, might influence how you might preceive the tankiness of big SE's, especially since it has been in a tooon of matches recently.
@@olafthemoose9413 did you see the amount of damage it was taking from just goblin wolf rider fire? it was melting it
@@ME-ki7vq Archers have always been good vs large. Peasant archers have been a staple anti-monster tool for Bretonnia since WH1.
@@ashisunblade ye but this like 500 point unit doing like 30% hp damage to like a 2500 monster in like 20 seconds feels crazy
Kinda think beastmen getting a good frontline makes them less beastman-ey. They should buff their fast cav/ razorgors/charge bonus etc not get solid heavy infantry
really nice tactical game
can I ask why the sorcerer lord is better than drazoath? is it the price point for the unit or is the sorcerer genuinely better? not trying to be rude i just dont know lol love the vids!
Sorcerer lords' stats are a little worse than Drazhoath's but still good enough to kill most characters, and they also have way better items than him. The Vial of Hashut is good for alpha strikes but it's mostly because of the item that gives them regen whenever a spell is cast. They basically always hit their healing cap in a battle, meaning that they have close to double the effective health of any of the LLs (and for cheaper).
that's really good to know thank you! My friend has been trying to get me to try Pvp battles so I'm still figuring out how they work compared to campaign, that makes a lot more sense with the itemization. @@N0ahface
Hes way cheaper
big Q
did pump wagons get fixed too?
Oopooooo that green color scheme looks so dam good. Army painter CA! Do something right!!!!
Why didnt the Beastmen got the Khorne Minotaurus? Is this bc of some lore stuff?
Big Green Egg vs beef.
When I look at the beastmen roster for MP battles I don’t see any SoC units nor did I get any updates, does anyone else have this problem?
The DLC doesn't release until the 31st.
When beastmen have a more exciting dlc than cathay.
Crying in roster holes 😢
TURIN! TURIN! TURIN! TURIN!
Isn't it just the usual New stuff > Older stuff power creep to push people to buy the DLCs?
It was exactly the same in tabletop with every new army release.
Awesome gameplay!
Do you think beastmen will be A tier or maybe S tier? (In dom ofc)
👍👍
I haven't seen chaos dwarf pvp. This is interesting
Wow this is like starcraft 2 championship games. Such impressive skill, it's mind blowing
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Good game but traitor kin feels increasingly bad to watch.
Come on, this match up seems to favor the beastmen. No way in hell could chorfs defend a backline against a roster specialized in swarming. The beastmen got too many ap monsters and moster infantry for normal chorf heavy infantry to work. Only old op centaurs could be effective but theyre gone now.
Chorf didnt bring any anti-large other than arguably hobgobbo woof raiders
GG
Man iron deamon nerfed insanely compared to live patch.
He used it to fight vs 2 armor piercing single units with anti large units
@@moguel1524 ye but 15 less attack , 25 less charge bonus , 50 less ap on melee weapon looks too much.
I'm honestly sad about voidlolz, his batreps were poetry in motion. As amazing as everyone is now, that was different :/
