    Your Square password keeps your account secure from unauthorized access. If you already have access to your account and need to update your password:
    Head to your online Dashboard.
    Next, click Account & Settings, under Personal Information in the Sign in and Security section, you’ll see your password field, click “Update”.
    Enter your current account Password, then, enter a new password. Make sure your password is at least 8 characters long. Enter it one more time and click “Confirm”.
    Keep in mind, when you update your account password, anyone signed into the Dashboard or Square app will be automatically logged out-we suggest waiting until the end of your business day to update.
    If you’re having trouble signing in to your Square account and you need to reset your password:
    Reset Your Password Online
    Head to your Dashboard login page and enter your email address. When you get to the password entry page, click “Forgot Password”.
    Enter the email address associated with your Square account, click Send Instructions.
    Check your email - you’ll have a message in your inbox with the subject “Reset your Square Password.”
    Open the email, click the Reset Password button.
    Lastly, create your new password.
    Reset Your Password in the App
    To reset your password from the Square app:
    Tap Forgot Password? from the Sign In screen.
    Enter the email address associated with your Square account, and then tap Send Instructions.
    We’ll send you instructions via email to help you reset your password.
    Password Reset Email Troubleshooting
    If you’re having trouble with the password reset email, try these tips to help you complete the process:
    1. Check your junk or spam mail folder.
    2. Double-check that the email address you entered into the password reset field is the same email used to access your Square account.
    3. If you see the message “This token has been used”, logout of your dashboard online and reset your password again.
