They liked a lot of Chinese cultures and were learning Chinese Mandarin from us as well. That's why i was so surprised to see this video clip how come most of them have changed and prefer Japanese or Japanese foods to Chinese foods? No offense, i am Chinese and i like a lot of Thai foods and willing to travel to Thailand again and again. Also, i like Japanese foods but prefer cooked foods only 😁 From Malaysia

Yes, Thai people know that their language derived from Sanskrit and their culture have a lot of Indian and Chinese influences
They were taught in the school that Indian and Chinese merchant came to Thailand and share their religion, philosophy and culture to us

When I am writing this my eyes are full of tears.. when I heard that some of Thai people don't like India.. really really I am hurt. They think that appearance is different but it is actually not.. our North East Indian brothers and sisters do have same appearance. They might not know enough about India I think.
I cried coz watching Thai lakorns I became Thai fan I even started to learn Thai and already made a dream to visit there once after earning money.
I know Thailand is rich country but our culture is very much similar that's why I watch Thai lakorns. We are connected with eachother through Buddhism.

I think some Thais have a personality mixed of Filipino too. Thailand and Philippines are both extroverted countries , People are often welcome for tourists.

You might be surprised that many Thais learn Japanese (even myself). Japanese culture highly influences the Thais for decades (through anime, manga, products, working ethics, etc.)
Japan is also the top investor in Thailand. There are many Japanese living in Thailand and most of them so enjoy easy going and laid-back lifestyle here that don't wanna move back. (My Japanese friends, said so) 😆

Thailand for one, ended up westernizing itself in some aspects to appeal to the European colonizers in an attempt to avoid being colonized...(Though I do not deny the practicality of modern day clothing.) Heck, there was even a period of time when its own government banned traditional Thai music. Musical instruments were destroyed. Some were jailed for trying to play their music.

Even my accent irl is mostly american cos as a kid, american shows were all i watched. (indian immigrant parents couldn't teach me english to a high level so they put me in front of the tv to learn it)
