- The Milwaukee Bucks have the best record in the NBA right now and Giannis Antetokounmpo is the reigning MVP. Things are looking good, but they didn't always look this way. Before Giannis Antetokounmpo came to town the Bucks were stuck in the middle. This timeline shows how the Giannis helped the Bucks break out of mediocrity while going over some of my favorite clips in the NBA. As always Bucks in 6!

Giannis had been playing the point since he was back in Greece at Filathleticos, Kidd actually hurt Giannis' development by no allowing him to shoot 3s while he was the coach of the Bucks thus completely fucking him over mentally when it came to his shot.
More like, he let Giannis be *Giannis*
@@wonderlandian8465 honestly it's the opposite. By not allowing him to shoot 3s if thats the case he forced Giannis to be in constant attack mode mentally. Unless Giannis does an overhaul on his mechanics he's never going to be a great shooter anyway. Which is perfectly fine. Much rather him develop a post game to abuse switches as he gets older because the way the game is trending he will be a Center eventually.

Even if Kids fucked up his shot the offset is he doubled down on being a DOMINANT interior force along with becoming a better playmaker which I know Kidd helped him with. Honestly him shooting 3s isn't necessary for their team success. His intermediate game is the true issue. He needs to go see Hakeem.

3rd year 15-16 : half season as a PF , after all star break he became a PG and his team was better, became clear to the world he was a star player, and should have won MIP that season (imo)
4th year 16-17 : His "rookie" season in a new position (Point Forward), won the MIP award and finished top20 in all the major stats for the 1st time in NBA history
5th year 17-18 : High expectations and bad start for the team in the season.Kid was fired, they continued with Joe Prunty. He was in MVP conversations all the season. Should have won DPOY imo.
6th year 18-19 : 1st year of coach Budd, won the MVP and 60 games. Should have won DPOY too.
7th year 19-20 : Corona virus ruined his back2back MVPs? Maybe a DPOY and a chip too... 😓

I was rooting for the Suns but real talk, this championship is Giannis and his team's plan coming to fruition and i congratulate him and the Bucks wholeheartedly. The Bucks are a small market team that has perpetually been counted out and the dedication of Giannis and others has rewarded the fans loyalty.
