Just as a Doctor main for other people looking for tips here. Don’t trust lockers a good doctor might have Iron Maiden and you might end up giving your position away earlier than even before reaching madness 1. 2. A good doctor WILL have distressing and at least one terror radius add on or Iridescent King. Meaning staying out of the terror radius is near impossible. 3. Calm spirit can counter your screaming but not the overcharge or BBQ he will have. Because of who the doctor is, I cannot stress how important it is to figure out what build the doctor has so you now how to counter him. He is so flexible and while there are bad perks there are no bad perks for the Doctor.
@@jacobraposo730 So one thing ive noticed as a Doc main in KYF with a friend who runs calm spirit, i still get the laugh and bp of shocking someone, so even though you dont scream, we know generally where to look

I was teaching my sister how to play the game with my friends in a private lobby and I purposefully put perks on her so that it would be really hard for me to find her (cuz she's new but I wanted to murder my other friends haha) and even though she had calm spirit I still saw the scream icon pop up and she screamed 😐 I was shocked myself to say the least lol. I'm not sorry for saying that. ⚡haha
@@jacobraposo730 There's plenty of counterplay. Doctor can't ignore pallets or windows. You can pre drop pallets and force him to break it or waste a lot of time for 1 lousy hit making him lose the game. His shock has a built in delay so you can almost always vault windows before the shock makes contact. His default range is very low so he has to be close to even try a shock attack in the first place. He has no mobility power so running in a straight line wastes his time, too. All he has is good tracking and "some" anti loop. That's it. No speed, no instadowns, no stealth, nothing. I also posted a clip of me looping a Doctor for I think it was more than 3 minutes AND I escaped after that chase without getting caught.
Same. Idk his actual tier but alot of people rank him very low, but he is one of the few killers that REALLY puts survivors on their backfoot. I've been bullied as tons of killers esp trapper & Hag. But people will rage so hard if you use Myers, Billy or Doc.
Also, your madness level can reduce if you’re outside of the terror radius and crouch walk. It won’t degrade your madness level, but it will decrease your progress to the nest level.
i've yet to win a match against a Doctor. I've tried many different forms/methods of dealing with him. I've just got to the point where if i hear the static sound at the beginning of the match, i've accepted that the match is already over.
Caleb Williams how so? He can completely negate you from vaulting, he can stop you from unhooking by shocking everything in 32 meters. He can keep you from doing any action by getting you to madness 3 which also gives away your location. And more

It’s actually quite easy to fake out a doctors electricity in an open area, as when they attempt to shock you, you can move in a different direction, due to the delay of the shock before it actually strikes the ground you’re moving to, moving in one way and switching to another may have you only leaving with madness 1 and being injured, since some give up trying to shock you and are forced to hit you normally.
I always when hes about to shock, i always run up to him cause the shock won't hit me when im close to him. I do this until he goes into punishment mode and that's when I can start juking him. Sry if the sentence is choppy, its 2 am in the morning and I haven't slept yet.
I pretty much only use him. Survivors are too numbed to fear most characters, they'll just try to unhook a mf in front of you or even body block you. How disrespectful! With the doctor everybody is always running and screaming and no one sits at the gate to tbag :3
Just small additional notes for any learning survivors/low ranks vs Doc. Try to keep yourself and your teammates away from one another once past madness 1, It can be annoying to save each other but 3 different survivors not being chased and working on Gens everywhere while he pesters 1 to tier 3 and down, you'll be surprised how fast you can get things done by the time it takes for the Doc to Tier 3 someone, down them and hook. If your in Tier 2-3 madness and begin getting the fake doctor hallucinations (Where he's standing still), run into them, they will vanish on contact and take roughly 6 seconds (Give or take) before they can reappear again. It will give you more time to hide/move if the Doc didn't spot the moment it spawned. The doctor as mentioned can use these to help track you and the direction your in, if you can't run into it for some reason (E.G, He'll see you if you do), try to get behind it or any other angle so the doctor is fooled of your direction, (It will re-align/respawn eventually) The 6 seconds might not mean much but will help you during those moments where you need to snap out of it or need to hide from him at closer ranges (Obviously if he hasn't already spotted you) Try to move your camera into a position where a fake doctor can't spawn properly while you snap out of it as the fake doctor will always try to spawn itself as close to the middle of your screen in front of you. sometimes a little to the left or right too but MOSTLY the middle.
For anyone who wants to start maining doctor: Always have the add-on that gives illusionary pallets. And for a second add-on, if u wanna stealth killer, then use the Red Stain and Terror Radius illusions. If u wanna do anti stealth, use static field power increase. If u wanna be aggressive shocker, use the shock therapy increaser (also increased ur doctor hallucinations times)
I main the Doctor. There's one thing I'd like to add here: If the Doctor finds you and starts chasing you, always try to lead him away from your teammates and the generators. The Doctor often has trouble ending chases quickly, and he thrives when he can build Madness on multiple survivors at once. So if you lead him away from the rest of your team, he becomes a lot less effective. You'll constantly force him to choose between protecting his generators and finishing a chase.
It's very aggressive and doesn't always work, but I've found that a doctor that spams his shock is to literally run up to him while he's charging or shocking then to take advantage of the time it takes for him to switch to run away
The voice actor for plankton would have been cool for the doc's voice. Feels kind of weird that ash is the only one with any voice lines, but kind of matches his character. Also, great explanation on the doctor.

I play PS4 and for some reason I have been against a doctor like 3 times, I tend to stay around rank 7-10 cuz I’m not that good and don’t put a lot of hours into the game but now i know just in case, thanks.
Normally when he goes to zap me I always run towards him because when you’re within a certain distance the zap can’t get you. However, you need to be careful because they can switch to punishment so be prepared.
My biggest question is Does doc overwhelm perk work with some of his add-ons like calm which gives his aura to his clones so that way when people try to gen rush or heal they waste their items way faster. I look around alot on forums but don't really see it covered
If you haven’t seen it covered then it’s safe to assume that it won’t work but I don’t think many people would think of this anyway so you should be alright 👍

So essentially: there is no counterplay to the doctor, especially if you spawn on an indoor map.
The only counter is running calm spirit, but you never know when you'll face him so you'd have to equip the perk all the time.

There is still a very easy way to counter a doctor have perks that let you know he is near and run to another gen when he gets too close
Remember that if you run at him while he charges and uses his shock it will miss since the cone aims a bit in front of it
You have to be sure it IS a cone, as I recall there's a perk that makes his charge a circle.
Unless his terror radius leaves a shock, which happens
