  • Learn how to correctly measure fluid intake, which is a testable skill on the Arizona State Board CNA Exam.
For exam purposes, you will always have 3 glasses, two 8 oz glasses and a 4 oz glass. The resident will always drink either 25%, 50% or 75% of the fluid in the glass. Remember, you are measuring how much they drank, not how much fluid is left in the glass.
1 oz of fluid is equal to 30 ml. You will always record your final answer in ml. So if you add up the ounces make sure you multiply by 30 to get the final answer in ml.
