Congrats on finding your wedding dress! Honestly, it was the same for me - never had that “wow! This is the dress” with everyone crying. When I finally found my wedding dress, it just made me happy and I went with it.

For the bath melt thing…..take a spoon and scrape off all you can then take a brown paper bag (we can buy rolls of brown paper here in America maybe y’all can’t too) and put a piece over the spots and use your clothes iron to get the rest out of the carpet?!?! I’m just guessing because that works wonders for candle wax!!! 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️
hi grace, highly recommend Florence/Tuscany, Sardinia or Sicily for you honeymoon - all places are breathtaking and have such beautiful scenery, (especially Sardinia, stunning beaches ! but equally beautiful in both Sicily and Tuscany, yet very different from Sardinia) beyond delicious food and so so much culture. Highly recommend these places!!

(made me chuckle that we've seen you more stressed about the correct water bottle selection than wedding dress hehe) also for tasting menu Mexican restaurant in London KOL in Marlybone- A WHOLE experience. Still catch myself thinking about it but very expensive definitely an occasion place. Really lovely staff talk you through each course... a savoury chicken creme brûlée?! Sorry!? phenomenal.

I wouldn't consider that a small amount of people, especially at the moment, many just can't afford it - and you're making it seem like they're missing out on something that's one in a lifetime. They can always save up and go on a similarly expensive holiday later in life

We went to Rome Florence and Venice for our honeymoon. We booked trains from city to city. It was really lovely .. highly recommend
🍯🌒VITAL honeymoon tip for if you've never lived with your partner before: Go somewhere where there is plenty to do outside of the accommodation should you choose. Generally a big city. The whole "cabin in the woods" thing can be very overwhelming if you have not lived with the person before, because the boredom (believe it or not, it will happen) can cause stress and unnecessary quarrels. Having plenty to do as an option if you need it can be a life saver because it adds lots of fun memories, gets the dopamine and endorphins going, and makes the whole thing a great adventure. 💞
Honeymoon wise we went to a place an hour outside Tromso in northern Norway to see the Northern lights and enjoy the snow. Went dog sleighing to and on a folk night which was lovely. The apartment's balcony was above the edge of a fjord so you could hear the water. The whole time was magic. We went between Christmas and new years it was the perfect time!
hi grace! much love from dubai! and congrats on finding a wedding dress x the best pjs in my opinion are from target (the stars above brand) skims and bedhead pyjamas in los angeles. also they have a tendency to shrink bc cotton is like that so i would recommend soaking them in room temp water for 24 hours as soon as you purchase them & before washing them in the machine. that should work!

Chelsea Peers do the BEST pyjamas. They have pockets, don't shrink, are SOOOOO soft and are long enough for us tall girls (I'm 5'10)! Not too expensive too so worth a try!!

I feel the same way about my wedding dress moment! I did not cry at all but I was so happy with and excited with the dress. I went with a friend to a bridal show and then wandered around the streets after she went home. I put my name down for a cancellation list at a shop I really liked and they called me within an hour saying to come. It was the second dress I tried on at the first bridal shop! I didn’t even have any family members or friend there 😂. I FaceTimed my parents and got it! We are planning for August 2, 2025 and I am in wedding mode! I am part time in school so trying to get organized.

Lake Como is so lovely for a honeymoon, very romantic and lots of things to do and see as a couple. Venice and the major Italian cities are so crowded in the summer, but Lake Como has so many hotels and surrounding towns, it's easier to find a quiet area in which to spend your romantic days, and it's not so hot. So excited for your wedding! And I wish you made your own line of PJs. I love chickens too, and they can be so very affectionate, you'd never guess it.
I got married early February and my husband and I will be going on a month-long road trip of the USA in June! Doing a lot of states in the South East. Really looking forward to it!
If you want to stay in Europe, I'd recommend island hopping in Greece! We did that for our first holiday together and it was gorgeous. We visited Athens, Santorini, Ios (this was our fave for ultimate relaxation!) and Naxos. Good luck with all the planning! It's such an exciting time :)

I loved the look of the ramen, it's a pity the broth wasn't the best 😕 Also a good wardrobe clearout is always just the best thing, makes everything feel so fresh! For your PJs I don't know how you're washing them but I always do mine on a 30 degree wash and don't tumble dry them, just hang them up to dry and I don't usually have shrinking issues. I get most of mine from Primark and Tesco, they do surprisingly great PJs!
Chelsea Peers pjs are THE BEST! they don't shrink, they stay super soft, they have a drawstring, they are long for tall beans! anddd they do family sets at xmas

Really wanting to know if the menu was Neverland or the Netherlands haha. We went to the Magdalen Islands for our honeymoon. Low-key and close to us here on the East Coast of Canada but a bit of a jaunt for you! There was a bakery with pain au chocolat though.
Long haul destinations, Singapore and Malaysia (amazing food). Or Mauritius, lovely place, good food.

Hawaii (may be too far away, but worth the long flight)

California (would recommend planning more than one trip for this since you'll want to cover beaches, ferris wheel, Malibu, Hollywood, the home of Trader Joe's, San Francisco trolleys, the swallows of Capistrano, strawberry picking, whale watching, etc.)
Use a hairdryer to warm up the melt on the carpet so you can take it off!
I moved to Alabama last august (from England) for college and running, and the Mexican food here is amazing!!

Congratulations on the dress! May I suggest Mexico as a honeymoon destination? You can get great food there, especially if you’re on the coast. There are many all inclusive resorts there so you can just stay in and be all lovey-dovey. 💗

Oh, sounds like you don't want to go too far for your honeymoon. I was going to suggest Hawaii. It's great because it's American, but also there's so much Asian influence, and then it has all the tropical fruit. I would also say somewhere in the Costa del Sol for a closer option, except in the summer it might be super hot and uncomfortable.

We went to Corfu on our honeymoon to a lovely hotel called Delfino Blu - it was v luxurious and had yummmyyy food! Good if you are looking for somewhere to really relax - depends what kind of holiday you’re after!!

My parents had their honeymoon in Florida and Disney World with the surrounding parks. I thought that was quite fun.

I will recommend Morocco again. Agadir is very pretty. You could fly into the Agadir or Marrakech airport.. I'm sure you would find something to do in Marrakech and Agadir. :)
If you love snow, Canada would happily adopt you. We get very clear 4 seasons here.
For your honeymoon, I recommend not going to your dream destination. After the wedding I was absolutely exhausted and just wanted to laze around, so just choose a nice hotel or something. We went to sorrento and i couldn’t even be bothered exploring because I was that wiped out from the wedding. And now I’ll need to go back 😂

Grace I think Cinque Terre, it's five villages that you can only visit by foot or boat, would be an awsome homeymone destination in Italy, you have all the views, there is a lot to visit and also there is no other place like it in Italy, but be ready to hike all the hills and stairs
Corfu Island is also a gem lots of beaches, and if you are a good swimmer there is a cave you can swim to called mermaid cave, the food is awsome and there is always a party in a tavern somewhere. Cyprus is also a beauty I went for a wedding there, had so much fun, but you really have to rent a car there! They drive on your side of the road so you would be fine, I wasn't though..... 😂😂😂😂

Chicken vs ducks? I've looked after both before. Yes ducks are easier to handle, and the ducklings are just adorable on another level! On the other hand, you get lovely eggs with the hens and slightly less poo to muck up the pen or garden in my case. I'm thinking of getting a goat now

Maybe try an iron on low (to start of with) and place a sheet of copier paper or any plain non print paper over the wax melt on the carpet and see if the paper will pick up the wax....you might need a lot of sheets of paper to iron it all up.
The carpet is fixable.
Cut off as much as you can and then cover with a damp towel and press with an iron gently. This will melt the wax and put it into the damp cloth. Google it first to show you the exact method xx

Get your iron and an old towel and put the towel on the melt then the iron. Hopefully everything will soak into the towel.
