I didn't particularly overrate a character more than an other. I just believe they are both very strong and powerful in their own ways. Overall through the story, they are seen as almost equals, in TPM Maul defeated Obi Wan first but lost bc of arrogance, during the Clone Wars he defeated him both times but lost after due to conflict. And in Rebels Obi Wan was too experienced and had to much force knowledge for Maul to handle.@@igornagonski8215

In most of the fights Maul is just at horrendous disadvantage but just rolls with the plan, Fighting Vizsla who was using techs without force, Sidious just being op in the force, 1v2 against Obi Wan and Qui Gon, fighting 3 inquisitors at once (even tho Kanan and Ashoka joined him later).
I always felt that Kenobi won Maul in TPM by luck Maul is very underrated In canon isn’t so powerful but in legends is the goat He defeated Darth Vader in lightsaber combat even though many claim that Vader was toying.In my opinion maul lost again to something stupid.Even the Emperor acknowledged him as his rival and personally faced him.In Legends he even managed to capture both Grievous and Dooku(even though I wasn’t expecting it).I just wonder how powerful he would if he didn’t loose midiclorians in TPM.

They both trained for almost 22 years but Maul's training was more brutal.

Obi Wan is more controlled and has more wisdom imo but doesn't have a lot of IQ feats. We only saw Obi Wan use force speed in TPM, if I had chosen MFK I would have given speed for matching KFV but don't forget that amped rage Maul also matched Sidious's speed during the Clone Wars. Obi Wan's s fighting style isn't particularly focused on speed, since he is more defensive, he will accelerate only to react.@@Spy_boys
