Very impressed with how quiet the machine is! Love that its compact, and looks easy to install.
Best one yet! Really enjoyed the installation of the heat pump and the plumbing. Left the pool business 25 years ago and always wonder what if! Thanks for sharing.
Nice alternative video. Judging by the the state of that outbuilding I think the only thing keeping it from falling down is the pvc pipe you just put in
🤣🤣🤣 literally
See that nice foundational crack
Interesting video! You guys are so pro you made this work look easy 😎 the tree growing into that old heating unit and through the wall was really something! Thanks for another great video 🇨🇦
I just did the same thing with the same heat pump but for a hot tub a few months ago, it works fantastically well, heats up in no time, cheap as chips to run, great to do it myself, very happy!
Nice video 👍
4:18... we've all been there at least once 😂
Great content 👌🏾... I personally wouldn't mind watching a longer video... your content is therapeutic 😌
Thx for increasing the volume! Much appreciated 👍🏻. Nice video m8
Yessss!!! Thank you for these vids! I learn A LOT!
Cool I mean WARM! 30 degrees just the right temperature for relaxing in the beautiful pool 😊 Could you show us inside the heat pump some day? I am wondering what the condenser / heat exchanger looks like. Also what refrigerant does it use?
This video was super interesting to watch. Please do more videos like this! ❤️
Love the signature in the concrete!
I take this unit is weatherproof... great vid x
That’s one clean install.
Thank you, lads!
The signing of the concrete was a nice touch 😂
I love these videos they just get better and better keep up the good work Holla your boy for the pool work
These videos are always so satisfying
Those little plastic bits are great for the small fins in the heat exchanger 😂
That is a VERY generous sponsor! Lucky you.
Keep up the awesome content! :)
Great videos mate 👍🏻👍🏻
So, do you not need to insulate the pipes or anything? Just thinking you may lose heat. That’s a nice bit of kit! I grew up in the Southern Hemisphere so heating a pool to me is 🤯. Also, that garden is huge and those benches set up like a bowling green! I also watch lawn videos and see an edge that needs a whipper snipper 😂
Mate theres no heat to lose from those pieces of shite
I really love you videos and it helps me learn how to take care of my pool but im 13 and I went to Texas for 3 weeks and came baca and our pool was dark green because my dad didn't take care of it. so in the past 3 days I got it mostly Clear but needs a little scrubbing.
Machine packs a punch and is going to save the customer ££££s
Nice one. My workplace is going to be moving over to thesse for heating the building as they are pretty efficient. Anything is better than the current gas turbines.
Appreciate having my comment posted you legend!! Long vids are the best!! I speak on behalf of the long vid poolguyml fan base when I say we want more 😀
I don’t have a pool but I need you!! 🤣🤣
nice seeing the OOLguy 👍🏻👍🏻
I like the signature on the concrete. 😂
Outstanding
Love these videos so calming to me. Camera boy is a little chopsy today lol
You guys should get yourselves a set of pvc pipe cutters. Far safer and a cleaner cut than a reciprocating saw.
Which do you recommend! I’m loving the reciprocating saw atm
@@thepoolguyml
I use knippex although mine only cuts up to 50mm pipe.
@@thepoolguyml Bruv look up the Milwaukee PVC shear, you’ll thank me later.
I've been watching and loving your videos for a while now and something just occurred to me. You look just like Taron Egerton!!! I never read the comments, so sorry if folks say this all the time and I'm just a bit slow 😋
Nice job guys but I have a couple of suggestions. The airpump should have been bolted to the base. The outside pipes should also have at least one clip on in case it gets knocked by kids & ball games etc. There was a lot of debris inside cut pipes which should have been removed before fitting. These are only constructive suggestions not criticisms as the work you do is awesome. Regards Colin
All things I noticed too 👍🏼
Do we not need to worry about trapped air in the pipework aswell? The flow of them pipes will definitely be reduced?
Saludos, me gustan bastante sus videos. 🖐️
Don't know why I watch your video even I watched your old video!!!
Honestly I got curious whose this Poolguy behind the voice 😍...Your vids is so relaxing...my new way of stress reliever 😍❤
Luv the video bro on these pumps how do u tell which one is the correct one for the size of ur pool as I was looking at the 7kw one on their website my pool is 7mx3.5m x1mx1.6m would the 7kw be adequate for mine or do I need the 9kw ?
And help would be great 👍🏼
Dot worry about the building falling apart 😮
I am 11 years old and I love your vids
Looks pretty good!
If you go up high with the pipes in a bow, isn’t there a danger of having an air lock at the top?
It can happen but it’s quite rare! Easily fixed though
@@thepoolguyml Thanks!
How do you fix it? 🤓
Richard from This Old House would be unhappy that you didn’t deburr the pipes….
What’s the best sand for a pool filter? What would you recommend?
Great video. These are probably stupid questions. Why didn't the new heat pump go inside like the previous one? Was the heat pump screwed and secured into the concrete? Does England have "Energy Saver" regulations like the U.S.? Also, when are you going to sell merch? I would love really like to have a "thep00lguy" hoodie!!!!!
You Americans are obsessed with merch😂
Merch is on his website thepoolguy.uk - we put it outside just to give it plenty of airflow and also the area behind where the old one sat was really overgrown. B
Old one was just electric I think? The new one is an air-source heat pump so needs to be outside so it can continuously exchange fresh air.
How do you get the air out of these long overhead runs? Would have expected to have a vent valve on there at the highest point.
Avranno anche la piscina ma il contesto fa pena.... Sporco e trascurato. Peccato! Siete fantastici 🥰 vi seguo sempre. Saluti dalla Sardegna Italia
Ok but what pants are those cus i need them
will you put a cover over the pump t ensure it doesn't get wet?
Holo the pools guys/general builders for the pool work
Mostly like watching to hear you speak and da pool work is interesting.
Want to fit one of these to a hot tub. Are they suitable considering they are rated down to zero degrees? Want to use it all year.
How did you get into doing pool cleaning etc…?
Hello, where did you get the black nipples for the unions? I see they didn’t come with the unit when you took the box off.
Colorex 600, judging by the fact they used the same font as Creda uses for their logo, gonna say the old Pump was from the late 70s to around 1988?
Big fan bro
Don’t you need to fix the unit to the slab?
Nice Butt also all the inuendo jokes
I'm thinking about replacing my oil boiler. What minimum air temperature can these heat pools?
Do you think it would be possible to set up the heat pump between your pool and your home so that use could use the water in the pool as a heat sink to cool your home and the heat in your home to warm your pool?
Buy yourself a builder’s whisk to mix concrete faster!
Big fan brooooo
I've had a hydro-pro inverter px7/32 fitted on my hot tub and can't raise the temperature on it.the fan's not starting up ? Can you help me?
what a nice looking machine, feels like a shame it has to be put outside to face the elements
I have a 24’ by 12’ above ground pool 30,000 L with a 6kw heater. Not sure if the water volume 2.5 sq m per hour is min or max. I want to buy a pool pump as mines to small at 1500 Lph to 7570 Lph to rotate the water quicker. But will my heater cope? As I’m sure it’s 1.000 litres ph to 1 sq m ph. Any advice would be much appreciated. Tia
Dear which one you will recommend for large pools heat pump or electric heater??
Heat pump 100% of the time.
It’s far more efficient.
SY electrical cable is not suitable for being in the sun, maybe its a shaded corner.
With those long runs, would you not bother lagging the pipes?
Was thinking that, must lose a lot of heat
Since the heat pump works on outside air temp would it be more beneficial to install the heat pump in my garage?
The air in the garage could cool down from the unit pulling the heat out of the air and make it less efficient
In America it's unthinkable to leave a pool heater on for 3 days straight, wow. What kind of impact is this having on their bill?
How much the cost?
You say the heater uses air. I guess it doesn't work in cold weather then?
I unit look identical to this but has a different name brand. I don’t think it heats the pool at all? I don’t know what is going on.
17 kW for that tiny pool. Wow, must have money to burn.
I think there is no better way to heat a pool
So that couldnt heat a pool in winter?
It probably can heat in winter months, but would depend on its design. i.e. if it has a defrost for the evaporator coil for low ambient temps.
fun fact: the most used letter in the english language is: E
Especially in Yorkshire
HAVE YOU EVER FEEL IN A POOL WELL CLEANING IT....🤔

That’s not jake Paul I don’t think I wish it was tho
too close to the house, need more air flow

3:47 Classic "Don't try this at home" ... not a great bit to include in a video.
Dude you don't pour concrete straight onto soil it needs hard-core down first 🤦♀️
