Time to get this pool looking like how it used too. Lots of work still to do around the pool so keep an eye out for update!! Like & Subscribe if you haven’t already guys!! 💪🏼
This is what I remember from 25-30 years ago working for a pool company. Cleaning out really dirty pools and being cold, wet and dirty. Well done lads.
Get a flat bottomed bucket, drill loads of small holes in it (5-10mm), then stand your pump inside the bucket. Anything that fits through the small holes should go straight through the pump with ease.
Get two buckets drill holes in both. Sandwich a layer of mesh (window screen) in between the buckets. Have a few extra mesh filters ready to switch out when the filter gets clogged.
I had to clean out an elevator shaft pit a few weeks ago and all I could think about was this channel lol. It’s nasty work vacuuming out water and digging a bunch of nasty mud for sure
I’m from Texas and there’s no way you could leave a pool like this at a house. Mosquitos, snakes, maybe alligators and who knows what else would be in there. Yikes! Great job, guys. That’s hard work.
Awesome job, guys, from the uk also here. As soon as I saw the little teaser for this on fb last year, I'd been waiting for this. Can't wait to see the rest
Great transformation. Try a petrol pressure washer on a job like this - you will be amazed how quickly it clears in comparison with any electric washer.
Would have been cool if they also cleaned the pad above it as well. Would have been cool to see for the old photos and I bet it would have kept that pool cleaner for longer
A few years ago I remodeled a pool at a horder house that had not been used since 1968 and the pool was built in 1958. The pool was full of hoarder junk and nasty water. I replaced the skimmer and all equipment along with new tile and plaster. When I have pools with this much sediment, dirt and debris I call a vac truck out to pressure wash and suck everyting out.
Hey buddy I love your CZcams channel it's amazing how you can take a nasty-looking pole and make it look like a million dollars you guys are amazing on CZcams how you can take a good nasty pool and a good pool after you guys are good at your job to keep up the good work
7:40 basic crab pot or fish basket. large like a crawfish trap with the top cut off, drop one in the muck after making a hole with the shovel. then put the pump in the middle of it.
Also in same industry. Great work boys & that tops my biggest swamp. That power hosed up nicely/better than I was expecting. Can’t wait for next update
Hell, that is one disaster of a "pool" . The surround , walls (corrugated iron lean to) , paving all are going to need a lot of attention . The pool looks like it needs to be sandblasted and re surfaced with new plaster. Huge job ahead. Hats off to you guys.
What an awesome job for people who like to get dirty, be outside and be hands-on. I could put up with so-so money if it was a job I really liked or loved.

OMG! That was more of a garden swamp feature, than a pool! That first pull of branches and reed grass, looked like a dead animal haha!
Nice to see the lads getting involved and standing or sitting around for the most part
The Bamboo stick was killing me 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Unbelievable that you can turn that into a functioning pool again. Hope you were well paid!!!

you need to take one of your buckets and drill holes through it then put window screen around it to filter the sludge then put your pump in the bucket
