Certain terms such as genome, lysis, and polymerase are mispronounced, because the voiceover is a synthesized audio.
Very nice.. please explain Antigen Test of Corona
What do E and N gene code for in coronavirus?
@@shraddhaeknathkhaire9787 you mean antibody test? Its so easy if you have antibodies in your blood (serum) it will travel through the cellulose membrane of the test kit which there are stationary anti immunoglobulins made from goat blood that will attach to your antibodies (if you have them) which will result in a colored line in the test kit. So how colored line formed is like this: antibodies to corona+anti-immunglobulins with colloidal gold->travels through test membrane->anti-Ig in test region attaches to that complex=colored line. Its called sandwich immunochromatography.
Very nice info, i have confusion on RNA extraction, thnx
Thought that might be why!
As a Doctor , Im saying you have explained something that even my Professor cannot do ... Hats off buddy
Hello prakash sir where go u song ur practice I am a mbbs student
Greetings for that Professor! 😅
How are you doi a true test
In other words, the professor AND the doctor are both clueless about what's really on the tip.
that's crazy. i didn't understand a thing. i truly admire those smart people that are able to come up with something so complicated. you guys are the coolest.
Im in 10+2 studying for medical and they taught us about this basic idea test of pcr test. They taught us only three steps 1.denaturation. 2.annealing. 3 extension
@@carrybhai7312 yes.
Yessa❤️
Not every people working on these things is super duper smart. Running the test doesn't necessarily mean you understand what you're doing. It can be done mechanically by anyone who can memorize the steps and have basic knowledge of it. Science is a collective effort of many researchers throughout our history. That's why on one side we have exceptional scientists who are more famous for their amazing contributions and on the other side we have regular scientists who aren't as geniuses but they also contribute to the human knowledge working with peers as teams.
I understand completely as I studied this science for a long time
As a biologist,I have to say this is a fantastic animation for RT PCR! Thanks for posting!
@@sivabalankesavan4339 Interesting, I'm going to look into this.
YES!!
this is like a whole semester lecture and lab condensed in a youtube video.
@@devinify The power of good and accurate animations in modern teaching!
As a biology student i felt same as you!!
I’m a biologist and currently taking a master‘s degree in Biotechology and this video is very well done and accurate!
I just finished mine.
@@uzzifennelli598 congrats!
Funny reading replies to commenters who have disappeared.
i'm currently doing my masters and these videos are great if you need visual aid for learning. i haven't found too many good bt animation channels on yt yet but i'm on it...
How much time does it take to complete the whole process?
Me: curious how they test covid something.
After watching the video.
Me: staying at home is simple.
Lol I agree! Though, working with these type of techniques is not necessarily difficult. It´s more time consuming and relatively expensive.
shree umate unfortunately, not everyone has the privilege to stay home because of work and some countries like here in Sweden, there is no quarantining
Best Choice . I too will follow that .👌
Offcourse same feeling
Exactly, but in this moment, some stupid people think that the virus is not real and it is a government plan for our manipulation... :/ Greetings from Mexico!
after 1 minute, i was just pretending to understand everything.
I just removed my headphones imma just watch the pictures
Same here.
You just pointed me out.
I just thinking business is best instead of science 😆
How long did you need?! For me 10 seconds was enough :))))))
After watching this my sympathy for biology student is dramatically increased!
Me a bio student
The worst part is that this isn’t nearly as detailed as the exams lol
We are biology engineers
Yeah I feel bad for the labs right now...🥺 so much workload !
Thanks
I m a happy engineer now.... Respect 🙏
As a freshman science major I literally started freaking out when watching this because we had a lab in biology where we did this with fish dna. Its so cool to see stuff that I did in class being done in real life.
my eyes just glazed over after 10 seconds. it is like a whole other language. We need more people like you and for the future of medicine..good luck.
Schnurbs while you become an old man science person, it is really cool, believe me..
ME TOO!
I didnt do anything that cool in school, although I was a a community college so...
Goood!!!
Whoh! I never thought class 12 biology chapter 6 would have soo much importance in real life 😆😆. I legit understood everything.
It is not class 12 biology. It is not so simple
Ya true👍👍
@@rahulchougule9277 it is class 12 biology. The whole thing is there in ncert
This feels like one of those exam questions where the solution is sequential, 1 wrong step and the whole thing is bust.
Like Calculus equations.
Lol now I understand the importance of those molecular biology lectures in med school !
I like how you're trying be "cool" by using the word medschool....
He might really be a doc
As bioinformatics student I was really impressed by this video.Take bow for your efforts sir 👌👌👌👌
Which college?
Even if you have to animation app, the time and effort for organising the material and learning about it is immense. This is gold for learners. Thank you
How many people are understanding nothing? The one who is understanding everything is really great.
It’s really cool to see that what we did in bio lab last semester is being done in real world scenarios
As a biology PhD student, I actually didn’t not understand the inner structure of the filter membrane until watched this video! Well explained!
For 1st 4 -5 min I was able to understand and regain my knowledge which I've studied in my 12th grade and later that everything just bounced over and messed up .. I truely appreciate your work your job 🙏🏼🙏🏼.
The first video I found after a long search that actually explains how the detection is happening. Thank you!
Thanks to all the Scientists and Engineers who stayed in school and contributed to the development of such a cool technology.
I'm a Medical Technology student, and I can say that this video is simple but accurate. Also, great illustrations! It really allows me to fully grasp my learnings
I have a Master's Degree in Management and I have to say this is absolutely accurate to point. With very little detail dispersion.
I'm a medical laboratory technician and I have to say this video is really well done the detail is spot on.
We studied this in our final year of Bachelor's degree and were about to give the final exams before we went into complete lockdown. This is SO exciting to watch. I cannot get over how simple yet elegant these techniques are. Thank you so much for this!
This would be the last time I looked at a video that explains Microbiology or Virology. I watched 6 mins, I came here for explanation of how the virus is Diagnosed, in the 6 mins I needed 100 further explanations.
I m a microbiology student nd yesterday i read theory of pcr technique in my biochemistry book nd today youtube recommended this now i fully understood the topic. thnku so much it helped me understood practically for my exams🙏
I love biology to! Be a great microbiologist. 👍
This gain huge respect to people who research and test such complicated stuff.
Recently switched my field from chemistry to biochemistry and ran couple of PCR reactions for protein expression. I liked this video very much. Hats off!
No kidding when the doctors say the test takes time!
It actually does not take that much time. Depending on what instrument you use you could get a pcr result in under 2 hours. Technology and Automation has come a long way over the last decade in PCR.
40 minutes nowadays, Doctors don’t do the test. Lab personnel does.
Literally the best and easy to understand video explanation of RT-PCR I have ever seen. Thanks a lot for making this!
As a molecular tech, this video does a fabulous job of explaining how the PCR machine works, as well as how wash, elution, etc buffers work! This is awesome! :))
*Suddenly everyone in the comments has a degree in this field*
I do not agree.
ya man
Maybe some. Not everyone
Including a few in civil and mechanical engineering.....🙂
I learned this in bio 189 my freshman year of college
This makes me feel like when your're in class and don't understand a word the teacher is saying, but then you pretend to get it and then hope that when you get home and read upon the topic that you'll get it then and won't feel like a total dumb a..s.. LOL
ye
I think this is one of the best video , nicely explained in a simplified way of the entire procedure and process of PCR !!! Thumbs up to the creator
As a pathology officer it is very easy way to explain all about the PCR step wise . The animation accurately shows all steps involved and explained in very simple way .
The RT-PCR is simple method , many non technical people may find difficulties but we have been doing this for other molecular tests before.
Amazing video! Fantastic explanation and fantastic animations. Really well done!
I m in class 12th and have a chapter biotechnology principles and processes in which PCR is explained and I m really shocked how little we have learnt from our ncert bio book about this topic...😨😨
Same here
Yess!!
I am also in 12 but i have Optional Subject Biotechnology and I read it.
Yeah.....it was just given PCR...and in three steps....it is done....but see here....it was like how little we know 🙄🙄......
But one more thing.... during watching of this video....it feels like our teacher is explaining molecular basis of inheritance Chapter 😂😂😂😂😂
We cannot understand until we do undergraduate courses in bio. In 11th 12th is basically an introduction to collage courses. So wait
I just found this channel on CZcams. And I am really impressed with the video. This is one of the best PCR videos I've ever watched. The explanation is concise and simple. The voice is quite clear, so as an Indonesian, which English isn't the mother's language, I don't have any difficulties to listen and understand your explanation. Thank you for your effort to make this video and share to us. Sorry for the bad grammar ;)
After trying to understand the process i am blank... I just want to salute all the person who invented this complex process🤗
Beautiful Animation with great explanation. Thank you.
A very comprehensive and lucid explanation of RT PCR. Great animations, great job!!
I just felt the need to go to CR after watching this PCR.
One of the best RT-PCR videos so far on the Internet!
Tomorrow I have a job interview, and this video helped me remember many aspects of PCR that I had forgotten, I am very grateful!
how was the interview
What job?
All the best bud
Did you get the job?
holy moly. I just understood the PCR concept which i struggled so much in biology and i never thought i could understand >_
Each and every word he spoke passed over my head.. 🤨🧐😶
So I'm sure u must not from science background.
As a layman, I am incapable to decipher most of the stuffs explained but I trust that this is a video well made as I can see those subject related viewers praising how good this video is.
This is the best explanation of PCR ever. Currently writing up my PhD thesis and I'm doing a section on comparison between PCR and NanoString techonology. So this was just what i needed!
As a biologist and epidemic expert, I must say that the animation is very simplified and wonderful.
I swear i didn't understand anything but enjoyed the video 😭🤣
Best video to explain RT-PCR protocol steps so far. Thank you!
Mad respect to the biologists and medicine science researchers. I have a Masters Degree and I find this very complex and elegant.
As a dumbest student, I just felt like I was in my school lecture of chemistry.
It's Bio technology bro
Found this to be a complex procedure, hats off to the number of samples being taken on a daily basis
As a microbiologist... i can say this was amazing clarification of RT-PCR by animation... it was amazing way to learning too gud information in a vry smooth manner with a particulate diagram nd techniques... thnkuu very much..
m your new subscriber... 🎉🎉👍
As a Biochemistry student,we have learnt this as part of lab practical.. Bio subject is very interesting
An excellent video. Within a very short time it explains everything .
Taking an intro biochem course right now over the summer and just learned about PCR. This video was up next from a PCR animation recommended and I was curious. I got the PCR stuff and some of the centrifuge stuff (from what I've done in bioengineering labs) and I'm honestly very surprised with how much I understood.
As a biotechnologist, I'm saying that you have explained it brilliantly.
I studied Civil engineering and this video information is correct and accurate!
This is the most accurate reply ive read so far😂
Yes . I am a mechanical engineer and I too certify that it's correct . Anyway I continue to stay at home .....!!!
I am a practicing Chartered Account and I certify this video to be correct and accurate!
Civil engineers learn this stuff???
Lol good one mate 😂👍
Nice to know what is going on with Real time PCR
This was really helpful thank you. We were given an assignment to find out everything we can about covid 19. From the pcr test to the how the vaccine is made and how it works. This was helpful
Very good information. Good efforts was taken for illustrating the RT PCR testing Process.
you make rt-PCR explanation really simple XD. if only my professor explains like this, I probably will ace my test in MCB haha
Best video!! I dont understand how to do a pcr, but now I watch this video and I understand all.
Just this year I had to lear how to do a PCR
Brilliant step by step guidance and explanation. I love it!
This is amazing. The animations explain qRT-PCR in a short and coherent manner. Thank you so much.
Being a BTech bioengineering student we missed such practicals in lab due to covid, thank you for explaining it and animation was really great.
Very good explanation! With easy animations, it is understandable.
Amazing video, thanks so much...
Excelente animación dem PCR-RT. Saludos desde Lima, Perú.
I thank to biologists/technicians doing millions of this cumbersome test everyday. These tests are hope for mankind. Thank you also for this complex informative animation and explanation.
It's so nice and informative. Thank you for the detailed information in this video..
I was searching for PCR related videos and found this in recommendation, nice keep it up
It feels awesome when i understood what i do in laboratory.. while dealing with the machines which do this whole process.. proud to be a biotechnologist!!

I'm a Laboratory technician and this video is very accurate and informative !
amazing ! thank you!
Very well explained 🙌.. being a microbiologist I could relate all my theory related to RT-PCR 👍
Such a long process, hats off to these people doing all these tests.
I'm a business guy who has to create slides explaining this stuff to investors, and this good work is invaluable.
this guy is a genius
How do they seperate corona virus rna strands from non-corona virus rna ?
Through the sequence of the Primers. The primers are like 20-30 basepairs long, and only bind to their complementary sequence
@2.10, for spin column do we take the supernatant? I remember if we use alcohol based method it requires mixing with pellet and throwing supernatant. I’m not sure
I'm a microbiology student and this video really helps in understanding the RT-PCR..
Good explanation, now i know how rt pcr work
YOU are the one I am looking forward for years :) Love you literally!
thanks for this initiative of edifying biology with animations.hats off!
best speech synthesis I’ve heard in my life to date
Best explanation
I love how biotechnology works.
I'm not a biology students I surprise after this video seen and also I share this video with other people nd family finally I get how it work... Thank u for making this video.
I am a master student in Biochemistry and work in a clinical chemistry institute. We do about 2000 tests a day and with this exact methode.
Thanks for this!!!
As a doctor I would say this is an amazing video to understand Covid-19 Test
Its not Only for Covid 19 Testing.
Look at all the medical students so happy to apply their knowledge while people suffer…awesome!!! Keep it up
