- Jessica, Joanna, and Monica Marshall of the John Marshall Family singing "Must I Go and Empty-Handed?" at Cleveland Baptist Church, Sunday night, June 14th, 2015. See words below.
Must I go and empty-handed
Thus my dear Redeemer meet
Not one day of service give Him
Lay no trophy at His feet
Must I go and empty-handed
Must I meet my Saviour so
Not one soul with which to greet Him
Must I empty-handed go
Oh the years in sinning wasted
Could I but recall them now
I would give them to my Saviour
To His will I’d gladly bow
Must I go and empty-handed
Must I meet my Saviour so
Not one soul with which to greet Him
Must I empty-handed go
Oh ye saints arise be earnest
Up and work while yet ’tis day
Ere the night of death o’ertake thee
Strive for souls while still you may
Must I go and empty-handed
Must I meet my Saviour so
Not one soul with which to greet Him
Must I empty-handed go
Must I go and empty-handed
Must I meet my Saviour so
Not one soul with which to greet Him
Must I empty-handed go? - Hudba
Glory to God! I don't want to go to Heaven Empty-handed. By the grace love of God and for His glory.
I grew up singing this hymn in German but never understood it until today.
Aha a only a Baptist church girls would dress in that fashion, cute and covered in this day and age. Proud to be a Baptist. P.S, lovely performance on a powerful song.
Amen! I'm so blessed 💞❤️
This is beautiful thank you! Our church meets a couple times a year at a rollerskating ring which we rent and we skate to the Marshall family music. It is a wonderful time for all!
They are so good..
They sure are! Their family's music has ministered to me for several years.
Amen!!
may I know the chords used in this song? 🙏 thank you ☺️
I unfortunately don't know that information for you. I'm not one of the singers in the video and I don't have the sheet music.
