Didn't know who he was, had no expectations, he opened his mouth, classic NY Italian accent, my day has been made, the outfit, the accent, perfection
I honestly want to see a lot more of this guy. Seth had so much fun interacting with him as well!
Seth went a whole 90 seconds before doing an impression of him, to his face 🤣 I've always loved the cooking segments - they were the nuttiest part of the show pre-pandemic with Seth starving and not taking it very seriously 🐾
I forgot about how Seth always acted like he hadn't eaten all day and would shovel everything into his mouth and try to talk through it! He's definitely having the most fun
You can tell he wanted to @0:21 but knew it was too early 😂
@@NYredsox OMG you're so right! 🤣
I’ve known Emilio since high school. This is how he really talks😂❤
Can someone please cast this guy as a mafia member in a movie? He's absolutely perfect
5:55 Seth burning his hand in the oven 🔥😂😂
lol I saw his hand moving towards it and I audibly said 'it says 'caution: hot' on top' as if he could hear me
why is it on lol what are they heating up
99% certain the only reason Seth books these segments is for an excuse to drink on the job.
And I support that 100%!
Yeah, he's not Fallon bad.
Love me a good cooking segment... or, "Day Drinking Light", as the wife calls 'em.
haha! That's pretty damned good!
Was Emilio in “Goodfellas”!?!?
His storytelling was phenomenal!! Please have him on again!!!
Seth being big in the hand-game again! Love it!
Ramsay curses fury, Emilio swears love.
Omg luv this guy his energy is delicious
He looks exactly how he talks.
Joseph gordon levitt has a wonderful new character
That chicken parm looks really good
SETH did the "chef's kiss" without saying the words "chef's kiss"!! Thank f(beep)'n god! It is a gesture! It doesn't require an audio description for the vision impaired like everyone seems to want to do lately
Emilio Vitolo makes Chris Distefano sound like a tourist.
He MUST become a regular segment!
CORRECTION: hot ovens are hot, honey. ;)
Right😂
The great gesticulator strikes again!!
Loved the cooking segment. So great to feature local and up and coming chefs. But i Especially loved Seth burning himself and trying to play it off.
"I was like...Emilioooo!"
Seth!! The Jackals are coming!!! Quick get gin and vermouth out to calm them!
What a delight... He's so genuine & chill... What a great palate cleanser after watching a different interview I couldn't swallow...😉Cheers, Seth & Chef!
Seth eats food segments like his wife doesn’t feed him. 🤣🥳🤟💞
Agree! and this was one of the decent ones - there are some old cooking segments with Seth scarfing the ingredients before the dish is done 🤣🤣
@@gratefuljackal8183 Oh, I know! 🤣 gotta love our starving Seth. 💞🤟. Did you happen to catch how jealous Colbert was that Biden was on with Seth? He was jokingly, but seriously, hurt. 🤦♀️ Rock on, Seth!
@@UnderstandingDarkness I didn't catch that.. I was super proud that our Seth booked him 😃 Also not to sound like a stalker, but Seth did say on the podcast that his wife orders a tiny amount of food when people are coming over and he knows he has to starve.. so I think you hit the nail on the head there 🤣
@@gratefuljackal8183 Hahaha I love it! I had a feeling, I mean, he gets soooo excited for literally *every* food segment. 🤤💞🤣🤟
@@gratefuljackal8183😂😂 Strike Force or Family Trips
Am I just imagining things or are these complete segments before editing for broadcast? Cause it’s really really good!
I was fortunate to have a connected Sicilian chef teach me Chicken Parma and Veal Parma ... best thing ever
We love chef Emilio vitolo
I love this interaction 😂❤
I love his new york accent, it's like he's from there!
This guy fukin incredible, gud fellow, u know?
Emilio saved my life, not joking. Choked and he gave me the Heimlich. A goodfella for sure!
The accent is priceless. Sometimes the Italian mob movies hit it out of the park 😂😂😂. Did someone check under Seth’s car after the show for making fun of him. The only downside to the Mouch lasting 10 days in Trumps administration was that Bill Hader didn’t have long enough to do his impression of him.
Have they been reading my mind? I was craving a good chicken parm the other day. 👀
This was the most chaotic messy commercial ive ever seen, and it makes me want that PARMAGAN
Every server feels this in their 1:04 bones.
LoL like the x-rated Cake Boss😅😅❤❤❤
As an Aussie, you've got two pub staples right here - chicken parma the most popular pub meal, and espresso martini the most popular cocktail. Though rarely would one order the both at the same time.
So what would an Aussie pair w/ each at the pub? 🤔
Also I'm guessing you have superior Espresso Martinis b/c coffee is serious stuff in Australia.
@@Kitty8791 a chicken parma would almost always be consumed with a pint of beer.
Espresso martinis tend to be for later in the evening, especially if the plan is to have a late night.
Shnazzy! 😂
Emilio is Joseph Gordon-Levitt's character from Don Jon.
Damn that chicken looked yummy, im craving it now.
I didn’t know Joseph Gordon Levitt was a chef!
No gangsta' vibes there. lol 😚
I can’t believe cocktail-loving Seth doesn’t know how to use a Boston shaker!
It looks like Seth has never cooked in his life and all this is brand new to him 😂
What is Madame Tussaud's Joseph Gordon Levitt doing out of the museum?!
Perfect!!!!
😎
You know, if Emilio decides to try acting I think he’d be a good young Tony Soprano!
I had the same thought!
Except James Gandolfini's own son, Michael, plays the young Tony Soprano in The Many Saints of Newark film (released in 2021).
Omg chill Seth he's not in the mob, he's just Italian
Want some good chicken Parmesan, try Longhorn's!
It's like Scarface became a chef.
Espresso Martinis are demodé. The Carajillo is currently the popular coffee-based cocktail. 🥃😂
Emilio Vitolo used to date Katie Holmes.
His restaurant has photos of him with Denzel Washington, Barack Obama, and other very famous celebrities.
He's an actor himself as well as being a NYC local-famous owner of a celebrity favorite (obviously) Italian restaurant Ballato's in Little Italy
Not gonna lie. Not a fan of cooking segments. The only reason I clicked on it was I didn't have my glasses on and at first I read the title as "Chicken Parmesan and EMPENADA Martinis" and I was like WHAT?!?
LOL.
Thanks for dressing up
when did seth meyers have a curtain in the studio?
Just add pepperoni on top and you’ll have your own KFC’s Chizza.
F BOMBS AWAY!
Where are the recipes?
Papa
so, an espresso martini is kind of like a black Russian with a shot of espresso. But less alcohol
Didn't garnish with coffee beans? I know it's his way, but still.
That is a very nice drink, I would love it, BUT, it is NOT a Martini. A Martini is gin and dry vermouth with an olive garnish, nothing else. You cannot make a true martini with vodka. Yes I'm that guy. Pedantry forever.
"...and don't get me started on Daiquiris!"
this basically a weaker version of a black Russian with a shot of espresso added
Seth seems so uncomfortable in the kitchen 😂
Is Seth already drunk when starting this segment?
Its so weird to see him standing up lmfao
That many bleeps in a chef segment, I thought Gordon Ramsey was on the show
maybe a good chef, but a horrible bartender! 🙄😂
You don't tip him. You pay him protection money.
This is so painfully awkward to watch... 😅
Can we expect a public apology to your former friend Stephen Colbert for stealing his interview with Joe Biden or should he apologize to you for consistently having better guests..I never got one when you refused to sign my copy of "Journey to the Center of the Earth" at the January 16th taping..
Seth, don't stand like that.
I don’t believe this phony for one second. He’s doing an impression of an Italian caricature.
I can't stand this guy.. He sounds beyond fake.. Sounds like a 1960 shiity gangster movie weasel .. Just crap..
Yeah, he's turning my stomach.
You're doing a fantastic impression of a douchebag.
...I don't know... he sounds like half my family in Brooklyn...
Looks like a crew personnel Larry the cable guy can barely make a drink cook bad posture
I filed a lawsuit against Irene so mind your own business
That special Vitello Antonio sounds like a straight ripoff of a Swiss Cordon Bleu.
You can tell that Seth is exerting every ounce of restraint to not say "gabigool". Egg wash is not necessary, a milk bath is also okay, and you can thicken it up with a bit of plain yogurt. Smaller pieces of chicken are also easier to deal with rather than the whole flattened out breast the size of a plate, sure it looks good at the restaurant but for home cooking, cut that thing up. Either way, MANGIA!!!
chef short poured everything. you can tell that's not his gig. no flow with the bar equipment and a shitty looking cocktail.
That is NOT a real Italian recipe, hope you know that….
How come? What makes it wrong?
@@hkrug666 it’s not wrong, it doesn’t exist 🤦🏻♀️ we cook chicken in many ways, we cook Parmigiana (not Parmesan) which is something else entirely, and for heaven’s sake we don’t cook them TOGETHER, EVER!!
@@fabianac.1976 Thanks. Now I'm even more confused than before. 😅 If he wasn't cooking Parmigiana, what was he cooking? And what is real Parmigiana then? And when you say "we don't cook them together" what do you mean by "them?"
Worst looking espresso martini I've ever seen.
terrible guest
