I like that kid. A little more development and he could have a solid NHL career barring injuries. And what can you say about Knies? 21 years old, back against the wall and has his best game of the year. I like it. Looking forward to the future with these two.

Habs fan here. Whenever my team doesn't make the playoffs or gets eliminated I always route for whichever Canadian teams are still in the run. People who counted the Leafs out, it's not over until it's over! When it comes to the playoffs anything can happen! Let's go Leafs!

I would love for Toronto to re-sign Domi. He's been a favourite of mine this season. Fast, energetic, productive, and physical. He's been especially fun to watch in this series as well.

So happy for Matty knies. Guy has been arguably our most solid player whole series so far. And got rewarded tonight. Way to battle Leafs. Now just stay in a hotel in TO. For game 6, treat it like a road game, and we can force game 7. And Woll, those pipes are yours. What a game tonight when we needed it most

John Tavares takes a lot of criticism (some deserved for sure), but you cannot deny the fact that he is always clutch when it matters the most.

We played like uninterested trash in the first half and still made it to overtime. I'm not terribly worried.

Ok so hear me out. We win game 6 by a miracle, get into game 7 go down 4-1 in the 3rd and with ten minutes left come back and win. It would be so sweet to finally turn it around on Boston and make those fans feel a bit of what we have been feeling for 40 years.

This game kept me off my seat the entire time. Joseph Woll probably with one of his best goaltending games ever, Domi with I don't even know how many face off wins , and overall the Leafs played good however I can't look past some major flaws that I saw throughout this game. For one, a lot of the team(mainly Marner) don't take shots and just pass which in some scenario’s can be good but a lot of the time they were giving away key shooting opportunities. Secondly, the Leafs almost never drive towards the net and just either take long shots or sort of close range shots (I'm saying almost because the overtime goal was a prime example of what they should do). If they take these elements into consideration for the next game I have full confidence that they will do great! GO LEAFS GO!

As I commented the other day, do NOT underestimate the Bruins' ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. The flashbacks are strong right now...
Everyone praising Woll (correctly so) but Swayman made just as many important saves at the other end. Two excellent goalkeeping displays

The scary part is that they have to tie the series on home ice.
Then game 7 at TD garden. The ultimate boogeyman.
A complete effort from the entire team. Woll was excellent and came through with some crucial stops. Let's hope they bring the same effort in Game Six.

Regardless of Game Six’s result this is a huge blown opportunity for Boston to close this series early and get rested before playing Florida.
Save for game one, this series has been an example of road ice advantage. Last night, the Bruins found themselves outshot, getting beaten to the puck, giving up dangerous 2-on-1's, and needing Swayman to make circus saves in the process.
Bruins, you need not be reminded of what happened to you a year ago. Take heed.

My first time to see you (Steve) live. I'm a CANES fan living in Moldova. I first got into hockey when the Canes moved to NC. Toronto is my 2nd team due to the fact that the fans who visited during the playoffs in 2002.

Marner was absent again afraid to shoot, Nylander was being himself, Matthews was probably arranging tee off times.... the rest of the team was digging and checking like I've never seen before. Bravo. And Woll rises to the occasion. What a game to make it happen!

Matthews has been effectively shutdown for the entire series except for that awesome game 2 winner. If he comes back he needs to find a way to step it up because he's been looking pretty subpar in many games the last couple of playoffs.

At the 6:21 mark of the video, Nylander sidesteps the puck allowing Marchand a clean break to the net. He did this last year against Florida as well. 40 goals a year is one thing, but giving up such breaks on the defensive side of the puck loses you games. Is there a reason this guy is still around and not being benched?

I feel like Woll should have started game 1. When you look at the end of the year, you could see Samsonov's play diminishing. I don't know if he's tired or just in his head again but he hasn't been good for the last month or so and that's not good enough.
Woll is young, developing and has had solid playoff performances thus far. Risky? Yes, but for his development and the best chance to win, IMO, he should have started the series.
