Air Arms is a wonderful brand for air rifles, I've had the S510 fac 1.77 caliber, with the thumb hole, in beautiful walnut. One of the most beautiful air guns I've ever owned.
I thought it was a tad pellet fussy, and the more I shot it, the more I saw the accuracy was good but not great. It was a big surprised finding out that my very tuned S200AA in 1.77 was out-shooting the S510!!!
Mind you it was superbly finished, and just beautiful walnut that made in r a real looker, but ended up selling it!
My mind is still blown away how well the S200AA shoots. Only other gun that out-shoot it was my Kaliber Cricket!
I'm sure that there are many S510's out there shooting better than mine did, I've seen videos on the accuracy, actually that's why I bought one.
I own an Air Arms S200 .177 mk 3 sport.. regulated & fine tuned by Ratworks plus threaded for a silencer/moderator...a very underrated gun I would highly recommend to anyone :)

Nice review but I would argue the HW97 is a match for the TX. I also find the safety to be a bad choice of position. A couple of other negatives for me is the barrel band and shot count. The 510 may have the advantage out of the box but my Airtech R10 is a match for any sub 12 PCP and I also get at least 170 shots in .22 with a 70 bar reg. One big positive is the stock. The TX also wins in that respect. New sub

Had an S410E back in the day, very accurate air rifle, bit selective with pellets but it's always the same with FAC air rifles, I have a MK1 Rapid with a 19 inch Anchutz barrel and it is seriously fussy.
nice, I hear Theoben are making a come back, hopefully i can get one to review.
@@IRateGuns I would love them to get things going again, the old Rapid is my go to air rifle, I'll always chose it over my newer guns if I'm heading out, just feels right to shoot, I'm sure you know what I mean.

Yep great video, but that's not what I expected it to group at 15yds! Take that out to 40 and it will be crap.
That gun on a rest on the table at that range should be one holing, no question,
My tuned 56TH does better than that at 50 meters.
On the stock.... Walnut stocks don't stay looking that nice in the field for long, if you're rabbiting get the beach stock
Was this the carbine version? Debating on ordering one verry soon been told the carbine is more like a 60 shot max and the ztandard is like a 80 in 177

I was in-between the carbine or standard but after watching this I might go standard like I'm a big lad like so doesn't look overly big atall thanks buddy

I have owned mine for the last six years or so. A mate keeps wanting me to do him a trade with a BSA ultra CLX but I can't do it. It shoots straight and the snap back and feel of the lever action and lack of play is brilliant compared to the FX dreamline, Brocock ghost and Kral XS air rifles I own. Just a bit under powered though, but probably doesn't make much difference in the real world.
How many Bar is the fill?

I feel bad for you guys in Europe - never in 10 lifetimes would I ever spend that amount of money for a sub 12 foot pound air rifle.. Insane prices for 1 step above a BB gun.. Heck, for that amount of money you can buy a 300 Winchester Magnum.. Get your FAC license by telling them that you want to exterminate some pest in government.. hahahaha
