    • @anabia299
      @anabia299 Před rokem +1

      I would say the beginning should not go for it but if you have reached a level where you are confident in Aqeedah
      With regard to Tafseer al-Jalaalayn (by Jalaal ad-Deen as-Suyooti and Jalaal ad-Deen al-Muhalli), it is a good tafseer and summary, but it is not free of some shortcomings, especially with regard to the attributes of Allah and matters of ‘aqeedah (belief), in which it follows the madhhab of the Ash‘aris. In that regard you may benefit from reading the book Anwaar al-Hilaalayn fi at-Ta‘aqqubaat ‘ala al-Jalaalayn, by Dr. Muhammad ‘Abd ar-Rahmaan al-Khamees.
      Shaykh Ibn Baaz was asked about that and he said: It is a useful tafseer, although it contains some errors regarding the divine attributes… There is hardly any book that is free of errors, except the Book of Allah. Books written by people usually contain some errors, but some have fewer errors than others. Tafseer al-Jalaalayn contains some errors, so if it is possible to be taught it by one who has knowledge of the Sunnah and knows the views of Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa‘ah, and he can alert his students to the mistakes, that is good. If a student does not understand something, he should ask the scholars.

    • @ARmirzaful
      @ARmirzaful Před 29 dny

      The mufassireen of scholars of tafseer were masters in their science of Quraan. This didn’t meant they were masters in Hadith. So they could make mistakes in the ahadith they collected. Also not all scholars agree if a Hadith is weak. Some may believe the Hadith can be used while others may feel the Hadith is weak. Allaah knows best.

      I meant that if this book of Tafsīr is considered authentic or trusted in regards to Aqeedāh or in regards towards the reliability of the sources it provides.
      I asked Sheikh Assim Al-Hakīm this question via email, and he denied it as a trusted book of Tafsīr. I personally found strange narrations such as in Sūrah Al-Kahf, the names of the people of the cave and as such, it met the Jewish traditions or as such and Allāh Knows Best.
      It is not considered as a trusted book of Tafsīr, if you have it, then remove it. As for what knowledge you have taken from it, there is no guarantee of the reliability of its authenticity, so remove from your mind whatsoever you have learned from it.
      I recommend to you to use Tafsīr ibn Kathīr or At-Tabarī's Tafsīr.

      Yes that would be a great Blessing from Allāh. According to Sheikh Uthmān ibn Fārooq, in his recent videos, he explained how ibn Abbās himself does not have a book of Tafsīr or as such; only the compiled narrations of his or as such.
      We only have few authentic narrations of the Messenger of Allāh and his companions, in regards to Tafsīr of few verses.
      However, ibn Abbās did taught Tafsīr after the Messenger of Allāh passed away. The Prophet of Allāh, in an authentic narration, prayed to Allāh for him to be filled with religious wisdom or knowledge. In my personal opinion, I view ibn Abbās as the greatest scholar in Islām and I take his authentic narrations above in regards to Ikhtilāf among some Sahāba and there is no wrong to follow the opinions of other Sahāba as well.
