How to Grow Onions from Seed

In this 5 1/2 minute video I take you through the steps of how I plant onions from seed starting with the right soil to use all the way to harvesting your onions. This video is especially suited for northern growers since I live in Newaygo, MI and grow long-day onions, but almost all the information can be used for growing any kind of onions. You will just have to adjust timing for your climate or zone. Man, I can grow just about anything except onions. I think I use the wrong type of onions for my zone and the wrong type of soil. Uggh, I'll get it right one of these days.

To tell you the truth my family has been trying to grow onions for years! We stuck to it and have finally found the right method for us.
