You're still one of my favorites. Been watching you for years.
I’m finding this everywhere! Thanks for the tips
Worth to keep in mind that Mugwort do contains a toxic Thujone so you shouldn't eat it too much. Use it more like as a light seasoning in food. And if pregnant then probably best if not at all.
Koreans have been drinking mugwort tea daily and seasoning food with it for centuries.
WOW amazing info. You put information from all sorts of gardening, wildcrafting, bushcrafting modalities I was shocked. Subscribed!
wonderful. Short, informative and sweet!
Thank you so much for the information and knowledge. I have this growing in my garden. So enjoy it
So much thing I dont know in this world!!!!
That's what makes life so wonderful, always something new to learn at any age!😅
Great video! Very informative with beautiful plants. Young plants can be topped for a less bitter tea.
I purchased a Korean essence or toner. It mentioned it calms the skin and prevents redness. Really good for the skin. I wondered what was Artemis Vulgaris was which was the main ingredient. So I looked it up and it's mugwort.
Just now came home from class. And notice a plant that looked like the picture I saw last night of mugwort/Artemis Vulgaris. Low and behold it is mugwort growing in a pot outside my house. So then came across your video. I'm pleasantly surprised at all the many benefits of this plant. Thank you.
Great video Dan! Mugwort is a wondrous herb! One of my favorites.

Thanks Dan for the inspiring video. I didn't have mugwort in my garden yet, but discovered that it grows abundantly on the roadsides here (Delft, the Netherlands). Love the scent. Transplanted some to my garden yesterday.
Good to know, I was thinking about where it might grow and I live next door in Vlaardingen
Im in north eastern usa qnd have so much mugwort groing wild around my property and surounding areas?
This lant weed? Is very hardy indo yhe deep fall firts hard freeze but by then very stalky also harvest them.
The root system is amazong and runs to be very invasive if let it run wild.
Ive trye every hands on manuel metheod to control and clean up
Mow-cutting - ripping it out by hand- burning -
digging up.
No chemicals
round up etc.
Constant war against weed control .
It just kerps coming back.
But
I love this plant weed for its buety when growing along with its many uses.😊😊
I love this , I make tea and it's help a lot specially for diet
Interesting...tell me more!
Thanks! ❤
100%satisfied, thank you, stay well as well 2
The dream pillow is just something to soothe you like lavender you have to actually ingest it to experience what it does to your dreams. My experience with drinking the tea I noticed my dreams were extremely vivid which had never been the case before and also a bit strange
@@norxgirl1 half gram or a gram maybe.. I used to ingest via smoking
Not accurate. Just harvesting the herb brings me lucid dreams. Dream pillows work well when fresh dried mugwort is added.
@@debicrispy8944I found mugwort when I put my tent up in the backyard and was surrounded by it and got to know the smell and noticed how connected to my dreams and nature I felt.
we made mead with ours this year
what is mead?

How was it?
Hi Dan, we are planning on growing mugwort in our garden this year thanks for the great info!
peace
It needs its own space, away from other plants - vegetables, too If you planted with other things, did the chemicals from the mugwort kill them, or did they manage to grow.
Thanks much for your posting ! Where can we get the seeds for growing?
Lots of good ideas, thanks. I've been growing mugwort for moxa, but I'll try the other things too. Do you ever mix mugwort and comfrey when making FPJ?
Where do you get mugwort seeds
@@rebeccajohnson1368 You can take seeds from plants you find in the wild in september.
This plant is an excellent home remedy to calm a cough
I have an abundance in my garden
Koreans make a yummy mugwort soup.
Can u grow it in doors ?
I got a plant of mug worked from someone in a pot and wonder should I go in the backyard and dig a hole and just place it in and it will survive that way? Or should I keep it in the pot and grow it that way?
Thank you for the video how can I purchase seeds for little plants please let me know thank you
I have two large areas covered by this wonderful plant. It is a perennial and will do well during Texas winters for the most part. The funniest use is that my big standard poodle goes out daily and right in the very middle of the large Mugwort plant in my back yard, she does her daily business. I suppose the odor keeps her butt smelling good, as my boy Bichon seems to like sniffing it. :-) Unfortunately, the local nurseries were not familiar with it and when I wanted to add more to some other flowerbeds at my home, they all confused the plant with sage or Texas sage and Russian sage plants. The difference between them all is significant. It was confusing for me to even find out what this plant actually was called to now be on the look out for it locally so I can indeed plant more in my flowerbeds. It really does add to them and takes very little to keep them growing well and flourishing with their beauty. Thanks for the video, as it helps to find out more about the other purposes of this plant. I had a few areas die out during our recent ice storm in our part of Texas, but I am thinking those spots will quickly fill back in once warmer weather is here.
Thank you, I would like to grow some of that plant. Where would I get seeds ?
Are you able to show a picture of the flower of mugwort
I just bought a small mugwort tree (a baby) and hope to grow a decent patch of it. Some tiny green aphids appear to be making home in it and the leaves are curling at the top. I'm so stressed out that it's going to kill my baby tree😟😤 I love mugwort and can confirm it helps with lucid dreaming, I didn't know about using it as a mulch which is great news as I live in a hot place and the garden often gets dry. thanks for an informative video.
Is mug wort & worm wood same plant - just known by different name?
Any of this plant here in NSW Australia
do you sell root? or plants?
How many plants i can grow in 12x12 inch pot?
Dan, I am another interested in Mugwort. Can you supply us with a lead on where we can purchase seeds. You need to start a multi-pack of Dan's special seeds that we could purchase. Would love to make the dream pillow small bag. l do love studying about how our dreams influence our lives.
Go get some from a seed shop or get a cutting from your friends..l too get fo frustrated when you like a plant and cant get seeds. I have mugwort in my garden, no seeds yet and already have friends asking for seeds...
@@eswaribalan164 the great thing is, once you finally have a start/seeds it is very easy to spread and keep alive.
I got my seeds straight off of Amazon and have used it to start a nice amount

Mug wort drop seeds in the cool fall after its small flowers
Not the main plant growth pushing all season.
If your looking in the outdoor wild
One must freakquenly monitor growth to time when seed pods are present
(There very very small and when they burts the seed a soooo very tony and wind blown easaly)😮
So if wanting to collect seeds use apropreate bagging methods n practice.
Just for comparison,
If you ever planted basel seeds
The mugwort seeds are smaller then those by at least half size.
So best bet ist to try and dig up some whole plants and a good size root ball and cross yer fingers on getting them to take root and regrow yer own.
😊
I have mugwart all over my property....thank you
Can you tell me which companions mugwort has? I heard something about raspberries, what about veggies? Thanks!
It tends to out out compete other plants and grow in a patch. Though in the wild they grow in similar patches as goldenrod
I am going to plant this in large area?? Is there anyone buy with me this raw material?? If yes, pls let me know. I am from Nepal
I tried summer of 2019
And it wouldn't grow . 😕
crazy but the dream pillow works every night
I want to get rid of mugwort that piggybacked with a new planting. It is choking out the things I want planted in my beds.
I like this video, please could you sell me some plants thank you.
I wanna smoke it, is that possible
please indicate where I can get seeds for mugwort.
Hello how can I buy the seeds? Thank you!
EAT IT!
What is FPJ?
Is mugwart good to get reed of mosquitoes??
Yes .Put some on your body. Make like a bracelet of a branch and crush some in your hands.
Wasn't there a saint that tucked mugwort into his beltline all the way around his waist when he was walking from place to place?
I have Mugwort Tea most nights, so tasty and great sleep
I think this is what my grandma calls "estafiate" ? She drinks the tea when her tummy is upset
no more the 1-2 leaves in a cup of tea-(PETS - probobly naturally (not getting close to it bec. It's too strong for them)
---
It’s invasive
Too vague on medicinal or cosmetic use
