Greetings from Nightwish Army, Palm Springs, CA! If you're new to the band, do check out the version sung by Tarja...its great, also! But one thing is clear...Marko is the best singer in the band! He made beautiful music w all 3 female leads, but agree, there's something special about him and Floor singing together!

According to Tuomas, "Wish I Had an Angel" - with its almost dance-like beat - was born out of frustration while sitting in the Karhu Bar. "I was there with my girlfriend of the time, and all these guys kept hitting on her. Even people I knew - guys who were certainly aware that we were dating - tried to chat her up. There was a full-scale hookup going on on the dance floor. The line 'Wish I had an Angel' just slammed into my head. I though it was so corny that it might even work. In a way, the dance beat conveys the setting of the song and is an essential part of what the song's about. Lyrically, it's the most down-to-earth, redneck, truck-stop song I've ever written!"

Wacken is festival in Germany. In German W is pronounced as a V, so Vah-ken.
This song was very early in the concert, can tell by the fact Tuomas still had his jacket and top hat on.
