Tickets go on sale Monday for #IndianaJones and the Dial of Destiny, only in theaters June 30.
Harrison Ford returns as the legendary hero archaeologist in the highly anticipated fifth installment of the iconic âIndiana Jonesâ franchise, which is directed by James Mangold (âFord v Ferrari,â âLoganâ). Starring along with Ford are Phoebe Waller-Bridge (âFleabagâ), Antonio Banderas (âPain and Gloryâ), John Rhys-Davies (âRaiders of the Lost Arkâ), Shaunette Renee Wilson (âBlack Pantherâ), Thomas Kretschmann (âDas Bootâ), Toby Jones (âJurassic World: Fallen Kingdomâ), Boyd Holbrook (âLoganâ), Oliver Richters (âBlack Widowâ), Ethann Isidore (âMortelâ) and Mads Mikkelsen (âFantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledoreâ). Directed by James Mangold, the film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Frank Marshall and Simon Emanuel, with Steven Spielberg and George Lucas serving as executive producers. John Williams, who has scored each Indy adventure since the original "Raiders of the Lost Ark" in 1981, is once again composing the score. - KrĂĄtkĂ© a kreslenĂ© filmy
Iâm 44. Harrison Ford has been a screen hero of mine my entire life. One of the all time greatest actors. I hope this sends him out on a high note as Indy.
I'm going to see this movie but I'm also going to start crying because Harrison Ford has given me years of Adventure that I could even remember when he played Indiana Jones. I hope that James Mangold will make us proud. I don't care about the Academy Award I care about a movie that's actually really good despite what critics say
Yes, I hear you.
You would pay more respect to the Franchise by avoiding this final kick in the pants.
Male stars are not allowed respect in the entertainment industry of today. Harrison Ford has always been a great presence on the screen. But we can get a glimpse of what an 80 year old looks like watching Joe Biden fall across a level stage, trip up the stairs and lose his balance on a bicycle! Kathleen Kennedy has always been more driven to destroy masculine role models than allow tribute to their greatness.

Itâs always great to see him again. The sound of his voice hasnât changed. You enter the world of Indiana jones and you discover that the places he goes and the people he meets good or bad, are what is required to create a world of adventure that everyone enjoys watching. You have to be rough, tough, resilient and curious to be an adventurer and survive. That rousing musical score encourages you to follow the action cheering him on through every danger is irresistible. You smile at the memories when you hear it. June 30th will find this film opening across this country in theaters filled to over flowing with those of us who are old enough to appreciate Harrison Fords films. The challenge will be for the rest of us who donât live near one of the chosen theaters. Where will they release it next. The "Indiana Jones" movies were a big part of my childhood, and my mom was one of the key reasons for that. We even went to see "Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" together the weekend it came out and we both loved it. She sadly passed away last September, so I never got tell her that Indy had a new adventure coming out and that it'd be his last one. I saw this movie on my sixty First birthday which means I was 20 years younger than Indiana Jones. But I still knew what he was going through. But I really enjoyed this movie and the fact that I saw my first Indiana Jones movie. Which was raiders a lost arc when I was 18 years old. Which meant I literally grow up with him.. So turning at 61 the same time As I saw my last Indian Jones movie Just made it more perfect.
With this Indiana Jones movie, I thought they did wise. They went back to the type of Plot they used in raider and the last crusade. In this case it was something out of history where recently we discovered A device I think designed by the Greek. Possibly two thousand years ago, and that was the main plot of this movie. Now, this device they discovered was not a time traveler, but a advanced clock. That no one thought someone at that time good design.
This was my dad's favorite franchise and it's really emotional knowing he isn't around to see this film. I'm gonna be a wheeping puddle of a mess during this film.

I'm nearly 40 myself. I feel the same way, also with the Star wars movies. They're a great escape from reality, Indeed. The original trilogy for both franchises are best, and that probably won't change.

Indiana Jones has a special place in my life because he gives me the adventure of everlasting courage and treasure within our hearts.
Indiana jones movies are my childhood grown-up with them thank you Harrison Ford for coming back one last time
Harrison clearly adores playing Indy. He deserves a good send off as much as the character does.
Raiders of the Lost Ark is my dadâs favorite film of all time. I think itâs fitting to go see this with such a big fan as he is. For me, the entire franchise, even the so so fourth one, has a special place in my heart. I get Lucasfilm has been hit or miss lately but the fact that we got Harrison Ford so enthusiastic, a talented filmmaker such as James Mangold, and strong approval by sensei Steven Spielberg, I am optimistic to see how this movie unfolds. My only hope is that itâs a good ending. Doesnât need to be perfect or badass as John Wick, be a fitting ending to hero whoâs been with all of us for decades.
My motto is never expect perfection. But I have to admit I was skeptical of seeing Spielberg passing the directors chair. But his seal of approval is slowly making me feel intrigued
Iâm so torn with this movie. Iâve been a massive fan of the franchise since I was a small child. While Kingdom of the Crystal Skull wasnât nearly as good as the first 3 films, I never hated it like all the others. That was the first Indy film I got to experience in theaters, and I had a blast watching it.
I REALLY want to be excited about Dial of Destiny⊠but with the low quality of movies all kinds of studios (especially Lucasfilm) have been pumping out recently⊠Iâm extremely nervous. I believe thereâs people lying from both sides around this movie.. but If the rumors are indeed true, even to an extent⊠I donât think Iâd be excited about this movie very much anymoreâŠ
TLC and KOTCS gave Indy franchise ending happy endings⊠what could DOD provide at this point? Heâs already reconnected with his father and literally rode off into the sunset with him, and his closest friends. Heâs already married the love of his life, and bonded with his biological son. What more is there? All thatâs left is for him to retire in peace I guess⊠or they could do the cliche thing and kill himâŠ
This may be the one movie I intentionally look for spoilers before I watch it. If I hear Phoebe Waller-Bridge is her usual arrogant self, belittling Indy throughout, or ends up actually replacing him⊠I cannot bring myself to watch this movie. I just canât. Iâve been burned too many times in the past to endure Indy going through the âmodern audienceâ treatmentâŠ
@@buccaneercat I totally get it it dude. Iâm actually at the same place when talking about Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Definitely doesnât stand as strong as the original three but boy was it a fun experience to see it on the big screen. I still have a lot of moments from that movie which I liked. As for Dial of Destiny, we live in a culture now where people like to tear things apart far more than previously that it was inevitable for people to tear this one down to the bone for the sake of it, and I guarantee you that if the movies we grew up with were actually coming out today they would be torn apart and perhaps accused at being too unrealistic, quirky, and often illogical just the same. I think it just comes down to how much you want to see another Indiana Jones. As for me, I want to go and see it, and I think Iâm gonna try to walk in with the mindset I had when I was younger. Hearing about Harrison Fordâs enthusiasm for the story/development is enough to convince me to give it a shot.
@@accidentcellar6307 Amusing. Not your taste? Thereâs the door.
â@@bentertainmentproductions8451 I didn't "like" Crystal Skull and was subjected to a lot of involuntary eye rolling and SMDH throughout the movie. But I also didn't hate it.
What I did do was try to just turn my mind off and accept it as if it were the great depression and everyone went to the movie theater to just go and enjoy the serial films, Flash Gordon, The Shadow, Our Gang, it really didn't matter as long as everyone simply enjoyed it.
And it had no bearing on if it was believable or not. Of the Indiana Jones movies, I can honestly say, just start thinking about it, and the absurdity would ruin the experience. I mean Amy Fowler Farrah was right. Indiana was irrelevant to the entire Raiders of the Lost Ark plot and story. But that did not diminish the fun and enjoyment of it, and may have made it a bit better.
Just don't think, sit back and enjoy. However Crystal Skull made that much more difficult. But still, taken with a few grains of salt and just sitting back and enjoying the movie with brain disengaged and it'll be OK. And it was.
I guess this one will be just like the others, in that just go in, sit down, turn brain off and enjoy.

I don't know about Bond style franchise but I was hoping it would be like Star Wars and we could've got 2 trilogies, the classic one and the older years one
I m glad that Indy didn't become a Bond kind of franchise with different actors. Only Harrison Ford can play the role on his own.
I don't know about it being like Bond, but I always thought they should have done a second trilogy, from maybe 2000-2008. There was plenty of material there. Lucas was just obsessed with the 1950s Sci-fi B movie concept, which held up the franchise for 14 years from 1993 to 2007.
â@@miltontavares9506 there is one other person I've ever seen that could have played this role other than Harrison Ford, and I believe it was Joe Flanigan from Stargate Atlantis. He has almost everything that Harrison brings to the role... And if they had rebooted in maybe 2008 or 2009, and done a story with Indy in his mid 40s during WW2, it would've worked. Chris Pratt never could've done it. Im very happy the internet's push in 2017 to give him the role never worked
So overall I'm pleased that they never did recast or reboot. And we have Harrison playing this role over a span of 42 years and we've now seen the character (in terms of the films) over the course of 34 years of his life. It's pretty neat when you think about it.

If there is anyone I trust to make a great Indiana Jones epilogue movie it's James Mangold after Logan this man has my faith he's going to pull something amazing
Yep.
We love indiana jones because we love movies? NO WE LOVE INDY BECAUSE HE IS AWESOME
I can't wait for this. There are so many films coming out this year that I was excited for like John Wick, Guardians, Mission Impossible, Fast and Furious, Spider-Man, Transformers, Flash but this is the big one I'm looking forward to
Iâm seeing Fast X tomorrow. Letâs all hope for an exciting summer at the movies. Guardians was a solid start
The new Spider-Man animation was SO GOOD, I'd 100% recommend it!
@@Brash_Candicoot I saw it last week as a matter of fact. On par with Into the Spider Verse
@@manuelorozco7760 Okđ
@@Brash_Candicoot Iâm seeing Transformers tomorrow
One of my favorite franchises probably more so than even star wars!
I love the bit when just before upgrading their car Indy and Sallah sing about grease lightning.
"Give 'em hell, Indiana Jones!"
I love that part!
Harrison is invincible machine like is surname, he keeps playing and he doesnât give up
I hope Kathleen Kennedy respects that about his character but it seems likely she'll emasculate him. I'm worried đą
@@GeoffInfield The real treasure in the film is the woman Indiana finds within himself.
My mythical character; Jamie Michelle Luther, who will be voiced by Tessa Thompson, she is a Mayan archeologist and future descendant of Indiana Jones; she will complete an extra quest and discovery match he grew too old to go on.
How can someone not get excited after seeing this.... This is perfect, everything is perfect. James mangold is a great director and I have faith in him that it's going to be a good film
Because we know...
Because Kathleen Kennedy ruined Star Wars and likely ruined this too?
This looks GREAT!!!!!
I never knew that Disney and Paramount Pictures involved this latest Indiana Jones movie.
I'm glad john rhys-davies return for the last Indiana Jones movie as Sallah. Harrison Ford is immortal now
Indiana Jones and Nathan Drake are my favorite Treasure Hunters for life!
I am excited for this film. I am excited for this!
