Absolutely stunning. Nordhavn is by far my favorite boat of choice. Other yachts might look better and have that mega wow factor on the outside, but Nordhavns are built to go anywhere anytime in some of the worst seas. Absolute tanks. Everything is so overbuilt and overengineered. They are like owning your own personal US Coast Guard cutter.
One of our favorite comments of all-time... thanks UD!
Bering Yachts?
I've been looking at yachts for a while. I keep coming back to these Nordhavn expedition models. This one is truly top of the line
I have shifted my desire over the past to steel hulls, but this boat at this price is tempting. What's most impressive to me is how they have made the various spaces feel secluded from each other. Well done for a boat this size.
This is by far one of the best looking yachts that I have seen in a long while. When you go below decks it has that 'proper' boat feel about it. Not a floating gin palace. Shame I couldn't afford to half fill the fuel tanks.
As far as yachts go, this looks like an incredibly practical layout.
yes she is... especially for long-range cruising.
I still wanna like rip out all the formal dining stuff and put in ping pong or a pool table or something
@@andys4971 a pool table on a boat ? you did not think that through did you
@@Crushonius It would play itself... Ideal for very lazy pool players...
The boat is great. And I really enjoyed this walkthrough. Nicely done. I'm sure it's made it's new owner very happy.
Thanks a lot Merv!
Is it just me but I would rather have one of these over a mega yacht
Well, if your "mega yacht" is big enough, you could put this boat on it for day trips...
capten retart - Absolutely! It’s beautiful and can go anywhere! Many more memories can be had on this than a yacht restricted to moderate temperature zones.
Explorers are the future
This is a lovely boat. Ive been watching the wider 150 and 165. Now there a nice piece of engineering. See you guys in Liechtenstein.
Yes, who wants to need a crew around you everywhere you turn?
I'm in love with Nordhavn!
(And really great walk through, thank you very much)
Looks like you could feel at home and on vacation at same time. Nice
Nordhavn definitely makes some of my favorite yachts.
I love the baitwell and cleaning station. That’s something you don’t see on too many yachts. A nice touch
we agree. adds some nice versatility.
Fish cleaning station, fish hold, wash down pump/sprayer, hand wash, beach fold out awash platform is a must on that swim step area. This cream puff you'd never want the mess from fishing to walk up onto the back deck let alone into the house.
@@JoeBribem Cleaning station is fine where it is in the cockpit. You have exterior stairs to the flybridge/sundeck, as well as port side-deck access to the galley, so you're not carrying fillets through the cabin. And if you're taking care of that boat properly, you (or ideally your crew) are washing down all of those teak decks once a day anyway.
@@savnetsinn_original You obviously have little experience deep sea fishing.
I'm not a yachtsman but I have an engineering degree and appreciate great design. I've seen two of these Nordhavn yacht video's and they're so well designed and made. Love great design. Timeless.
Thanks for a great video. I really like the darker wood in a boat like this. Very rich, yet not too formal.
we agree! and thanks for the comment, bob.
Very Spacious, Above All Elegance. Impressive Design Without Equal.A Must For The Upscale Seagoing Adventures . Bishop Unkler.
Wow this is the most magnificent yacht I have ever seen.
By far the most beautiful interior on a yacht
Beautiful, well-designed, and go-anywhere capable. Explorer yachts are unbeatable; they offer the most bang for the buck.
love that classic wood trim on the interior ! this is like a mini titanic although.... hopefully a tad safer :)
WAYYYY safer! :)
I was watching the video of the Outer Reef 86 "Simon Says" Trawler yacht before this one and I must say It was gorgeous. After watching this video, I change my mind. The Nordhavn 86 checks all boxes in Exterior, Interior, and Range. :)
aswell as fishing diveing and such u got so much you can do and still feel special
She is a great yacht for all of that.
What a stunning craft - beautiful on every level.
Beautiful yacht and a great presentation Glynn! I was surprised by the price, an absolute steal.
She’s the most beautiful yacht ever made! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
Thanks Diane!
Fantastic Denison Yachting and thankyou for your great presentation Glynn. I think that this is the first Denison presentation that I have really enjoyed, but there again Nordhavn are my absolute favourite, especially having seen a few. They are beautifully made, and for the money I don`t think that they can be beaten an as Glynn has said they can travel huge distances. However I personally wouldn`t like to meet the Atlantic when its not having a good day!
My favorite, so far! Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful ship. Great to have that live well/bait well on the stern deck. Most of the crew and guests would love to fish. Fresh mahi mahi, grouper, tuna and swordfish steaks for the elegant dinners. Good thinking by the owner.
Very nice. Has everything. Nicely laid out, pretty spiral stairs. Thanks for sharing.
We are glad you enjoy her. Thank you for watching.
Best professional boat-sale video I have yet to see. To the gentleman in the video, bravo! As well as the production and thank you for not using the most ridiculous music and blasting it. Please, send this to all the other brokers out there and have them learn from this!
Thank you Jim and will do!
Amen! And God Bless us All!!!
Uo i8
My goodness, absolutely stunning. Very well thought out. A beautiful vessel. Thank you
Thank you very much! Cheers!
amazing what they pack into 86 fot. You get a whole lot more here than for ex in a sunseeker predator of the same size.
Reading this, it's clear that you haven't ridden on a Predator!
Beautiful boat BUT different, much different, built to satisfy different mission requirements, and smaller. It's surprisingly seaworthy though.
you do not ride a boat
N8601 Vivierae is the former N8601 CaryAli. Wonderful yacht.
It's about time someone put a good video on this yacht I been saying it for years to update the video.
Simply gorgeous. The woodwork is sublime. Exactly what I would want in a boat like this. Although, NOBODY is fishing on this boat.
Thanks Bob... but we'd love to convince you we could catch a marlin on her :)
Oh, you COULD. I just think after several cocktails, you may want to relax on this specimen.
hahahaha!
I’m not a trawler guy, but this is a beautiful boat
Denison you’re the best for bringing this professionally to market
Thank you. That is very nice of you to say that and we will continue to bring you guys great videos you will love. We will see you on the next video. Great to see this trawler got you liking them a little bit more.
A beautiful yacht, great woodwork, nice layout. Good presentation (not all facetime and yackety yack). I have limited boating experience, day fishing trips on Lake Superior and the Gulf of Mexico from Ft. Myers, but noticed how many "unsecured" things there are (okay dinnerware set up to show the dining area, but countertop stuff) when you get into waves and things get thrown about.
Yes they do. This boat can handle a lot though.
Absolutely fantastic for an 86' - just love the layout. I would need an ice rated hull for my cruising aspirations, though. (Lottery dreams - six million to purchase and 1.5 mil a year for the next 25 years to operate it, and then I could die on her!)
Sounds like a plan.
Or you could win the lottery, get drunk and stumble into the path of a school bus and the remainder of your lottery winnings could end-up going towards school bus safety, Ha,ha,ha !!!!
Cherry Picker Guitar
Cherry Picker Guitars We can dream though! Such a beautiful boat.
What do you get for the 1.5m running costs?
Also plastic I'm gonna need a steal one because my misses will want to have a go
7knots is about the same speed as a monohull sailboat in a good wind. This is one of the more practical yachts for the true mariner I have seen.
she's an awesome boat... thanks!
A mono hull sailboat of that water length would do a fair bit better than 7 knots in a good wind.
@@normand5847 and ZERO in no wind day or terrible weather day ....
@@perrooceaniko2005 No. A sailboat of that length cruises at 8 knots with engine power.
Wow, unbelievable room for an 86'!?!? Good beam helps. She's got more to her than a lot of 100 footers!
M Hamma she’s got more to her than any house
Wow this is a work of art ... Carpenters probably work for three years straight on just the cabinets alone !
some of the best woodworkers in the world are here in the marine industry.
That is a beautiful vessel.
I grew up in nothern Ontario. So muck fresh water. The only experience I have on the seas are the sea servival courses I done in the military. But my dream is to own one of these ships and travel the north. Love Nordhavn! Now all I need is $$$$. lol
Nordhavn .
It's what dreams are made of.
Beautiful yacht!
Excellent video quality ,nice work and ı love this yacht
For a Small Yacht, it's Very Spacious and Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Seems like this particular Nordhavn has been on the market forever.
Fantastic Yacht. Great review.
When all out on the interior very nice ship
I'm impressed! I compared this expedition yacht with the one that is made in Italy, the similarly sized 86 foot Cantiere dele Marche (Stella Del Nord) and I find the Nordhavn 86 to be more luxurious and more elegantly designed. I'm just not sure if the hull material and thickness is comparable with CDM because that Italian yacht's steel hull is made thick with layers of rust proofing which is why it weighs a staggering 195 tons, heavy for it's size. But one thing that impressed me is the Nordhavn's cabins or compartments are equipped with what look like submarine type watertight doors. Really impressive all in all. Keep up the good work Nordhavn.
@@DenisonYachting Yes indeed. If I were to choose between this yacht and the 86 footer CDM explorer Stella del Nord, I'd definitely choose this one. It's so stunningly beautiful and elegant.
STUNNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great review, stunning shots and most of all, what I call a good commercial.
I only wish the N96 model would be reviewed by you aswell. That's what I am waiting for.
Keep up the good work.
its not a review, she is for sale. It is a commercial.
I imagine if you had this built as a solar hybrid the range could be extended even further which would be amazing.
I can put a hundred down and pay $50 a month.. Can we put this deal together??
Well lets make a deal. Ill put also 50 bucks together. Ahhh yes life would be to easy.
Well, I put in $ 51.90
@Matt Kirkland, It has a 6,980 gallon fuel tank. lol. So if fuel is $3,50 a gallon, it will only cost you around $24.500 to fill the tank. lol. Now travel around for a month and fill the tank once a week. That's only $98,000 for fuel. So if you will split the fuel bill with me, I'll pick up the food. lol.
@John Smith yeah, my my brother said😀
Calvin H. Lol
I Love NORDHAVN BOATS, and I was in love (N63&64) but really this is the BEST OF All MODELS and the sizes...I wish Nordhavn going to change the front windsheeld to 1-3 big nice Glass windows insted OF 4-8 windows...
I wish the New Owner All the Enjoyment in it...
Thanks a lot Nadhim... we're fans too!
My only problem is I want American made.
Nothing is American made . Some things are assembled in America but parts are made elsewhere. Unfortunately big business is try to make profits for investors so most goods are outsourced to countries with cheap labor.
Few days ago cat threw up can food in main hall, & I stepped in it going to kitchen & found 2nd spot coming back from kitchen 2 separate events. Rare for this cat, doesn't lick himself much at all.
So beautiful.. My dream type boat.. Love it
this yacht is a beauty and long since sold I'm sure. I'm curious if Nordhavn uses bulbous bows on any of their yachts to control movement, and increase fuel economy. I was just noticing the rise and fall of the bow while underway.
i have fallen in love with the nordhavn boats i hope to own one in my life
We will be here to help you when you are ready to buy one. So glad you love them.
Glynn - my sincere complements to you and your videographer. This video is very well done in documentary interview style, plus excellent editing, combing A and B roll, including drone footage and subtle but fitting background music.
Did you see the film of the new Nordhavn 96 VivieRae by Matt Malerba? Also well done.
I'd love to connect with a Nordhavn 76/86/96 owner that would like a film of their Nordhavn yachting adventure in the Caribbean, Bahamas, or Eastern / Western North Americana waters.
425 HP each... for good diesel per nm, true expedition yacht. My pet peeve with the wheelhouse is seeing the screens taking a good 1/4 of the front windows view..... reduced view where you need the most. But I haven’t stepped into a Nordie so I can’t guarantee for sure. Oh, and it is “saloon”. Thanks for otherwise good presentation.
Agreed, it needs to be lower, stop hogging the visibility
This is the one!!
I'm buying it!!!!
This is beautiful.
Beautiful Ship.
The crane looks so cool and you could lift so many other things with it like perhaps a shark or some Boulder under the water
:)
Or maybe a big pallet of provisions from the dock or that little bit over weight friend that never wants to step over onto the boat. 😂
Love the Nordhavn's
We do too. The way they ride the water is just stunning.
This is an awesome boat! 💙🛥
we agree and thanks, Tony!
love this ship.
I really do need to win the lottery
Get in line, buddy!
Me too
I'd rather own the lottery. & keep this video up please, let us have our dreams?
It's only 5 million! A drop in the ocean if you were any lottery winner!
You’d go bankrupt with the maintenance and crew costs
Amazing....Im playing the Lottery tomorrow , fingers crossed.
🤞🤞
I like the way this guy did the video.
Thank you!
Amazing boat!
Nicest crew quarters I’ve ever seen!
Her crew quarters are pretty great.
I got 2 of them. One for the Atlantic and one for the Pacific.
Beautiful ship
It sure is
My favorite.
This is the dream!
Love Nordhavn boats. But if you want a graceful lady of the sea this boat is it, 😊with a great range. Thank you. 😊
We completely agree. Thank you for the comment!
Wow, that is gorgeous. Sometime... maybe... dream big...
Beauty !
Amazing Yacht,
Indeed she is!
5 + million. Wowzer.
Think I’ll buy this in a couple of years
We'd love that!
Beautiful.
This is the one I want. Nice
@@DenisonYachting I wish!
wow ... lovely boat. I can only think, 1 more crew cabin could be handy.
yeah just really depends on cruising expectations of her owners. She actually offers very decent crew accommodations for an 86-footer.
yes ... very decent (excellent everything) .... I agree
:)
This is an incredible yacht, but we would not know it if it was not for the professional presentation. I would love to be a yacht broker, or learn to be one like this company.
Nice boat.
Interesting DAN...TIME!!!
:)
I don't know much about boats but that is a surprisingly small helm considering the size of the boat haha
her helm area is actually about right... if not kind of big for a yacht this size.
Stunning. 😍
Thank you.
Great looking boat! Do they have stabilising gyros or whatever they call them?.
This is the best non super/ mega yacht on the market.
Thanks we agree!
4:39 incoming torpedo start evasive maneuvers
too late, take it on the chin mate
Great walkthrough. I love Nordhavens, all of there models are very well laid out. The boat is beautiful, that is what dreams are made of. Capitalism is wonderful.
I really do like boats at the moment! What would I do with all them wet bars? I don’t drink?
This maybe the coolest one I have seen. I guess I have to wait another 5 years to buy it for $3M.
We will be here for you when you're ready! Thanks for commenting!
My eyes got inflamed after I lowered the judge hammer boom on fallen this morning repeated same judgment to many times to count.
5 million pounds is a good deal. I have been looking for a practical tough boat and they fit the bill
Awesome
That's one of the best yacht I've seen
